I took 20 classes in 30 days, and tried all except the hot yoga. PROS: -Beautiful studio! The space is gorgeous and clean with lots of natural light in the pilates area and fun neon lights in the HIIT class area. -Great selection of classes and times to choose from. -The classes themselves are wonderful- HIIT ranged in difficulty and the pilates was always fantastic. -Low sugar plant-based smoothie menu was awesome. CONS: -Customer service- This was my biggest problem with the studio. I was rarely greeted or acknowledged when entering the studio or when leaving. Entire classes went by when I was not acknowledged at all. It was a very cold/unwelcoming environment. I felt incredibly out of place and always left feeling kind of...sad. There was just one instructor who actually learned my name and was friendly to me, and I took multiple classes from her (she was great). After I joined the studio I never got a "tour" / nobody showed me around or told me what to expect from different classes. I was left on my own to figure it out. I have tried lots of studios around town so felt mostly comfortable in the classes but if I was new to this type of exercise, I would be totally lost. -Price- I paid a little over $200 for a new member special 30 day deal. That gets you one (just one!) class per day. There were times I wanted to do a HIIT class in the morning and check out a hot yoga class in the evening but I was not willing to pay an additional $25 to double up. There *are* 75 minute HIIT/Pilates combo classes, though. -No private bathroom area/locker room. The bathroom area is shared with whatever business is down the hall. It's a typical office building bathroom situation- no hooks on bathroom stall doors or surface to put down a bag. Not convenient for the days I had to change after work. No bowls of hair ties/tampons or dry shampoo like every other studio I've been to has. Overall, with a more welcoming vibe and the option to double up on classes, I'd come back. Otherwise there are plenty of other studios around town that offer the same workouts with a better atmosphere, and for a better price.

I've done regular yoga before, but this took it to a whole new level; think yoga with extra intensity (and sweat) in the best way possible. Our instructor, Eric LaCour, was amazing: super knowledgeable, motivating, and made the class feel welcoming for all levels. If you're looking to stay in shape, kick-start your fitness or weight-loss journey, or even try their ice bath plunges, I highly recommend checking out Preservation Yoga! #HotYoga #PreservationYoga #FitnessJourney #BatonRougeFitness #StayActive

I trained in vinyasa yoga, but welcomed the challenge of learning a new style when I was greeted with Bikram Yoga at Preservation Yoga. Everyone here (instructors and students alike) have been nothing short of amazing and incredibly helpful! I have yoga brain at the moment so forgive me if this review is a little all over the place. Tonight I took the bikram hot 90 class at 5pm and decided to stay for the new "fusion" class. Definitely a good idea! (Make sure you hydrate and rest!) The appropriately named "Fusion" class fuses poses and styles of both vinyasa and bikram yoga. It was designed perfectly! I found it to be a great mix of challenging and meditative, definitely a good class for beginners and experienced yogis alike! Everyone here is super helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about form and breath, which is crucial in any type of exercise but especially yoga (at least for myself) highly highly recommend this studio!

Yoglates has been literally life-changing for me!…read more I started going in December of last year, and it has literally completely changed my health and confidence. Before Yoglates, I never consistently worked out (like, ever), but now I go 1-3 times a week and look forward to it. All of the instructors are incredible, and I try to make an effort to go to classes where Lindsey, Lynda, or Katie teach. They take the time to teach proper form and make sure you have alternative moves if needed. Every instructor is great though. Their encouragement has made all the difference, especially as a beginner. When I started, I couldn't even finish a class, but I stuck with it, and over time I've gotten stronger! I didn't set out with the goal of losing weight, but in the past year, I've lost 30 pounds and feel healthier than ever. For beginners, I highly recommend starting with the Regular Yoglates classes and Power Stretch. Then try Trifecta and Inferno. They're challenging at first if you're a beginner but worth it! One of the things I love most about Yoglates is the community. It's a judgment-free zone. It's a mix of all ages and experience levels. Many of the regulars have been coming for years and everyone is nice. I've brought my mom, my sister, and several of my friends to classes before and it's so fun! Finally, as an LSU student, cost was also important to me, and they have student discounts. The prices are better than anything else in Baton Rouge for students - I do the 4 month student plan! They also do fun things for holidays or special events - in the time that I've been there, we had an olympics class, a self defense seminar, small business event, monthly class attendance challenges for prizes, and more! So fun. If you're looking for a place that challenges you in the best way, just go! It's worth it. (Warning, it is TOASTY in there. Drink lots of water!)

I was devastated by my husband's unexpected death early this year, and was having a horribly difficult time climbing out of deep depression. Honestly, I was having a difficult time even getting out of bed. I recently began going to Agame Yoga and trying several of the different disciplines. All of the instructors are kind and caring, and just walking into the building makes me feel calm and welcome. I also am recovering from a shoulder injury. Since beginning classes and practice at Agame and following up at home in the past several weeks, I am already noticing an improvement in my depression -- moving toward acceptance -- and physical improvement with my shoulder. I highly recommend Agame to anyone thinking about starting yoga practice or picking it up again after a long lapse. They offer an "unlimited yoga, try everything" package for about $30 for your first month, and I found that very helpful in choosing classes. I highly recommend Yoga Nidra and Yin Yoga for those dealing with great stress. The premises are exceptionally clean, with ample parking, and the staff cares that you are there, thanks you for coming, and warmly welcomes you each time they see you. I strongly recommend Agame to everyone and plan to continue and expand my classes and practice there.

I have been to a couple of other studios around the area out of curiosity and none even came close to the relaxation that I got at Agame. Relaxing doesn't mean easy either, the teachers are skilled at judging their classes and make sure that you give your body a nice work out. I always leave stress free and have a ton of energy after my practice. I have been taking the Hot Yoga classes as well as the morning classes. I highly recommend, that you come and experience it for yourself. It is like no other Yoga studio in the area.

After trying out several other yoga studios in Baton Rouge, I finally found the best one! I started with a minor shoulder injury from lifting weights and with months of practice the pain is gone! I am much stronger and happier. I didn't know much about yoga when I started with Mollie. Her classes are perfect for beginners and as well as advanced students! She explains the poses thoroughly and adjusts you accordingly. Mollie incorporates the perfect balance of stillness and calmness in her classes, with the intensity of basic vinyasa flow yoga class. I always feel so much more opened and renewed after every class. On Tuesdays, Mollie offers Yin yoga, a slow-paced style of yoga with poses held for about 5 minutes. Yin classes are incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating! Especially after a long day at work! Mollie also offers private yoga instruction and small/large group sessions that can come to your home, office, or favorite green space. She held a small class for my friends and I at the park with light seasonal fare for my birthday. If you have always wanted to try yoga, or even if you have years of experience, I highly recommend you take a moment and find yourself through Mollie's wonderful classes!! You won't regret it!

Check in was easy, there are cute, safe cubbies for you to put your belongings in. The owner of this location, Nicole, explained what we were going to do, what we needed, and how to get started. The pace of the class was great - enough time to warm up and breathe, open our lungs, get our blood moving. From there, there was a lot of pulsing, balancing, movement... she made sure to assure us the burn we felt was good for us. She also encouraged us to modify if we needed to. I have old wrist problems, and made sure to point out we should not push anything. She also came over and made sure we were pushing ourselves to a healthy burn point. The next couple of days, well, I loved the pain. I will be signing up for more classes for sure so that the burn lessens one day and I can really tell more a difference. Bring water with you. I forgot mine and really could have used some. They have little towels, but if you want a dry fit type of towel, that may work better. Wear socks. Breathe deep. Enjoy the challenge.
