Savanna didn't have me listed as attending, even though I was confirmed as a guest visitor and had already signed the waiver. She told me I couldn't work out because I didn't arrive 15 minutes early--yet someone walked in after me and was allowed to join in on warming up and work out immediately. If this is truly about "safety," it should apply to everyone equally. The guest care was disappointing: it took her a few minutes to even greet me, there was no warmth or welcome, and no attempt to problem-solve or accommodate. The only solution offered was "someone will call you later." Why would I come back after being treated like that? This experience reflects poor customer service, lack of compassion, and weak front-desk management--especially for new guests. If the waiver is signed and you're confirmed, the rest shouldn't feel this messy or unfair. NOTE: I checked my email and a copy of the waiver I signed was there. Not sure how or why they didn't have it. FACT IS I still wasted the gas/electric and more importantly, my time! It's too bad because I was looking forward to trying something new. I'm pretty fit but wanted to switch up my routine.

Got it -- here's a short, enthusiastic, Google-friendly review with a personal touch and coach…read moreshout-outs: I've been coming to this F45 for quite a while now, and it's truly the coaches that make it such a special place. Coach Jay is an absolute standout and a huge asset to the studio. His energy, motivation, and attention to form elevate every class, and he has a way of pushing you to do more while still making you feel supported. Huge shout-out as well to Coaches Michael, Devany, and Abby -- each of them brings something unique, and together they create an encouraging, high-energy environment that keeps me coming back. This team genuinely cares about the members and it shows in every workout!

I was a bit grossed out by the "cleanliness" and the idea of lying down on the floor to stretch where people walk around in their shoes (there's so much nasty stuff from walking around outside!!). I was also under the impression/told this class was for all levels of fitness, but it seemed like it really didn't matter if we (the entire group) were literally of all different ages and levels of fitness or physique. I thought there would be more individual guidance for the movements we needed to do, but we were pretty much told (after the coach quickly explained each station), to go pick a station and get started. I wasn't sure if the positions I was standing in and sitting/squatting down in were correct or not. There's no way to see my reflection or have anyone who had experience tell me. One of the movements was to squat down while having one leg forward and across diagonally, so the knee is bent and at an angle, sort of like a curtsy position. I feel that because of that movement and not being told if I'm doing it correctly or not, I messed up my knee where I felt some sudden pain behind and around my knee area a couple days later. My vein specialist/doctor did an ultrasound on it today and saw that there's fluid in my knee that wasn't ever there before, and because of that it put pressure on another vein and caused it to "pop". He said it was probably due to straining and if the knee was twisted or at an angle. He mentioned that specifically before I ever said anything about trying out new exercises! Even despite my injury, my rating would probably be the same...the music was SO loud it was hurting my ears a bit, and I really did not want to be listening to club music. There's other music to work out to besides EDM. This just unfortunately and definitely was not what I was expecting based off of the business info and reviews I read up on.

When I first came in, I felt like there wasn't much effort to motivate or guide me. The initial pricing options presented were the most expensive ones, and only after I said it was too high was I told there were other options. By then, it felt like there wasn't much interest in actually helping me get started or making me feel welcome. Fitness Factory (East Charleston) -- Review…read more 1. General Information This is my review of Fitness Factory on East Charleston. The gym is open 24/7, which is a huge plus, especially in a city like Las Vegas. Membership is straightforward: there's only one option at a very affordable $17/month with no contract. A sign-up fee applies--mine was $20.25 during a New Year's promotion, but it may vary. Day passes are available for $10 if you want to try the gym before committing. The sign-up process was simple; I joined at their smaller Lake Mead location, but you can also sign up online. Unfortunately, you *must* cancel in person, which is inconvenient. 2. Facilities and Equipment The gym is clean and generally well-maintained, though it does look a bit dated and could use a facelift. The biggest drawback is the limited variety of machines. While there's a solid weight training area, free weights, and cardio equipment, those accustomed to larger gyms (like LVAC) may feel restricted by the lack of machine options. Most equipment is in good condition and not outdated. Specialized equipment (like kettlebells or stability balls) is scarce. During my usual visits at 4 p.m., the gym wasn't too busy, but you may have to wait for a machine during peak times due to the limited selection. 3. Group Classes & Programs They offer a variety of group classes, but I haven't personally tried them. The option is there for anyone interested; I recommend checking with the staff for schedules and details. 4. Staff & Trainers My interactions with staff have been limited since I tend to keep to myself. However, during sign-up at the Lake Mead location, the staff member was polite, efficient, and helpful--nothing exceptional, but the experience was smooth and professional. 5. Cleanliness & Hygiene Overall, the gym is fairly clean--nothing extraordinary, but far from unpleasant. The men's bathroom and locker room are average in terms of cleanliness, though the dated design doesn't help the impression. There are lockers and showers, but no towel service or supplies (soap, shampoo, or hair dryers), so bring your own. Sanitation stations are available, and members are expected to wipe down equipment after use. 6. Atmosphere & Community The vibe here is neutral--not the most welcoming, but definitely not intimidating or overly competitive. Most members tend to keep to themselves or work out with a friend or two. It's less crowded than bigger gyms like LVAC, which is a plus, but limited machine variety still means you may have to wait during busy times. One downside: I noticed a lot of high school-aged members around 4 p.m. This isn't inherently bad, but it's something to be aware of if you prefer not to be around so many young people. Your experience may vary depending on the time you visit. 7. Amenities Amenities are good for the price. Lockers are available, but you'll need to bring your own lock. There are showers, a sauna, and a pool, though I recommend checking with the front desk for their hours of operation. Water stations are available, and there's a vending machine for drinks, but no smoothie bar or café. Parking is plentiful in front of the gym, but I didn't see any dedicated bike storage. For public transport, the RTC 206 Charleston and 203 Lamb bus stops are conveniently nearby. 8. Value & Overall Experience Fitness Factory has a lot going for it, especially for the price. Compared to LVAC, it's less crowded and has a better vibe, but the limited variety of machines might frustrate some users. For $17 a month (no contract), you get most of the same basic amenities as larger gyms--including access to their Lake Mead location. The 24/7 hours are perfect for service workers or anyone with an unusual schedule. This gym is best suited for beginners or those looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly membership. If you want a modern gym with high-end amenities, you won't find that here. Still, for the price, it's hard to beat. I recommend giving it a try--while there are drawbacks, the value and flexibility may make it worth it for many people.

Not up to par customer service and infrastructure of they're building is below standard. Something…read morewas always broken here whether it was the machines or a urinal /toilet/ sinks. During my trial run of ClassPass, I decided to check out F45 Training for one of their classes. Saw…read morea class called Medusa -- high volume, resistance based endurance and thought why not?! I also dragged my husband with me for the class so we can both work it! It was our very first time at F45 so when we got there, the instructor checked us in, had us sign waivers, and gave us a small tour of the facility. The facility is pretty small and looked like it was built just for these types of classes. She did mention that Medusa may not be the best class to attend as a first timer cause it can get quite chaotic but that didn't really bother us. The class consisted of 9 different stations and all of them had some type of weight incorporated into it. You can go as light or as heavy as you decide & with any class, you can go as hard as your body will allow you to. It actually reminded me of a HIIT workout but with weights. You do 60 seconds on and then 15-20 seconds off. I believe you do about 3-4 rounds of that. I'm not sure if there's a rep count that you're supposed to hit but I didn't really pay attention to that. The stations that we did were: Bench press Lunges Dumbbell push ups/rows/shoulder press Front loaded squats Kettlebell swings Russian twists Deadlifts Burpee box jumps Plate snatch (?) After three stations, you'll hit cardio with your partner/team. You'll be there for a total of 4 minutes so you can switch off with other people to hit that goal. The three cardio stations were rowing, cycling, and the skierg. With this type of class, you definitely have to pace yourself. You can't go all out in the first few station or you won't have enough to last you the rest of the class. I personally really loved the class. I love HIIT workouts and I love it even more when there is weight involved. I was sweating and breathing heavy throughout! My husband died a bit since he went a little bit too much on the weight to start so he was falling apart by the end of it haha. I did have a TFCC injury so I did end up modifying the front loaded squats to regular squats. If you need to modify, do it! Don't get injured or push your injury. Since we're used to working out, we knew how to modify but if you need any modification ideas, be sure to ask the instructor! The instructor was great. She checked up on us very often just to make sure we're OK esp since we were new. Since I already have a gym membership, I don't need a full membership. I'm not sure about what packages they have or how much each class costs. I forgot to ask at the end of the class but I definitely will go back when I can!
