Nothing was particularly interesting but it was mostly edible; really didn't like the acidic carrots. Pleasant service and a nice environment, but the food was lacklustre. Not recommended.

Two words: Food. Poisoning…read more I tried calling this place to let them know I got food poisoning from eating there last night. There was no answer, during open hours. I've only had food poisoning once before, many years ago. Typically food poisoning kicks in between 4-6 hours after eating something bad. Like clockwork, 4 hours after eating there, I started to experience nausea and stomach cramping. I went to bed, hoping I would sleep it off and was jolted awake within an hour with violent and turbulent food poisoning. I'm wiped out. I ate food at their hot bar, which maybe the food was sitting for too long, all day? I don't know, but there was a little mouse running around on the floor and I told the staff about it. They said it was typical and hard to take care of. I feel bad for writing this review, as I know as a small business, how important good reviews are. Plus, the staff were overall super nice. And I love that they have gluten free and dairy free options and everything's organic. But I went to hell and back last night, after eating there and it's disrupted my vacation. Super unfortunate.

It was good, maybe a bit dry and not enough sauce (I blame the rice and falafal ball combo). Also, it doesnt say whats in the bowl from the menu (there are strawberries and stuff, so if youre allergic to things, I suggest you ask). Vibe: 4/5. Love the vibe and the idea. Very bobo, hippie chic style. Very Los Angeles. I do have to bring it down because there isnt enough seating. But then, its small so I cant say that they have much options? Total, 4/5.
