"Oh Carol, don't let him steal your heart away I'm gonna…read morelearn to dance if it takes me all night and day" (Chuck Berry) We had the pleasure of being introduced to Carol Widman's product line while visiting Fargo, and we were very impressed with the outstanding chocolates and candy they produce. No wonder they are in their fourth generation of candy makers. We had a small bag of "Chippers", which simply out is rippled potato chips drenched in a thick blanket of milk chocolate. What a sinfully great combination! We also had a one-pound Assorted Chocolate Gift Box that came packaged in a gold gift box. It was an eclectic mix of milk, dark, and white chocolate creams, jellies, solid chocolates, and nut clusters with a few Jordan Almonds tossed in for good measure. The chocolate was high quality, and we really enjoyed them.

Store was quite busy with I would say about 10-12 people, I get to the counter and ask for a box of "Chippers" which I was then told the price of and realized maybe I should get a second box being the price was lower than what I was expecting/allowing to spend. The woman behind the counter then told me if I was wanting a second box I would have to go to the end and get back in line. I initially thought she may have been joking, but was being quite serious, and I again reassured, "get back in line for a second box of chippers that you just pulled out from a box behind the counter?" to which she replied "Yes." I replied with "No I don't want to do all of that I'll just take the one then." Which was no issue at all, slight confusion on my part but I respected the rules that were in place. What I then had an issue with was in reply to my comment about just taking the one box, the employee then said something under her breath and chuckled along with another coworker all while swiping my card for payment. At this point I was embarrassed and didn't want to continue at all with how I felt at the moment. Kind of a "Oh I came in here to get my family in on what I hear is amazing chocolate, just to get laughed at amongst employees behind the counter" moment. Honestly nothing crazy, but leaving the store after that small occurrence made me not want the product altogether, linking it to a bad experience with the employees. Great products and all but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and a feeling of regret for stopping in altogether.

Scoop N Dough is such a fun addition to downtown Fargo! Cookie dough and ice cream, you just can't…read morego wrong with that pairing! This is somewhere I love to take people who haven't been to Fargo much. It's something that most all people can enjoy, plus the shop is super cute. It's in a newly modernized alley of downtown called Robert's Alley, which can be confusing to find until you are a little more familiar with the area. I think there is maybe a parking garage nearby but your best option is to just park along the street or somewhere downtown and walk. You can only get to Scoop N Dough by walking, biking, or other non-motorized vehicular routes. Though the experience of cookie dough & ice cream is great, I do think it's pretty extravagant. The cookie dough is incredibly sweet and rich, and I can never finish my cup because it almost makes my stomach hurt, it's just too much for me. So that's just a warning- it still tastes fantastic and is fun to try at least once. And I did see they are getting another location along 32nd Ave, almost in West Fargo, which is cool!

Great selection of both the cookie doughs and the hard serve ice cream. You will have a difficult…read moretime choosing, but this makes it enticing to make several visits in the near future. The flavored popcorn is a nice addition as well. If you are not familiar with the area, the entrance is located in the alley, not far off of 2nd Ave N. This is an excellent addition to downtown Fargo. For these warmer months, their outside "wall" is an overhead door that opens up into the alley, with some additional seating.

Anything that combines bbq meat and cheese has got to be good... The building and atmosphere were great...modern, clean, vibrant - with a little country music playing in the background. You order at the counter, then take a number and they deliver it to your table. I loved the presentation - a heavy cast iron skillet preloaded with a real metal fork...ready to be enjoyed. Per her son Parker's recommendation, I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese with Carolina Reaper cheese added - the 'Parker Special'. Boy was it delicious - moist, flavorful pulled pork, tangy bbq sauce, creamy cheese...and a little bite from the Carolina Reaper cheese! I highly recommend this restaurant and this dish and can't wait to return to try some other options. I don't eat pork, so wish there was a non-pork bbq option. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. New cashier was pleasant and upbeat. This was a nice change from all the chain fast food places I usually eat at.

There are cockroaches running around. Hey should improve the cleanliness and not sell at too high prices. The Cambodian seems nice but if you keep coming here you start to notice some questionable/shady things. Lets start off with me being in line to checkout & noticing the Agege bread was rotten with mole in it. I kid you not. I brought this to the cashiers attention & she just said " Oh really!? I'll let the owner know. Than I bought my toddler Cerelac from there, when I got home, there was some black specs in it & I checked the expiration date, Cerelac was expired. Well like a fool, I went back there for a 3rd time, and I bought a whole fish from here. When I got home & went to start preparing it, I was SHOCKED to see that the fish wasnt scaled. This is the 1st time in my life, being here in America, that I bought a fish from a market, and the people working there didnt remove the scales from the fish before selling. Like who does that??? Apparently Lotus Blossom. Oh Im not done yet. The Guinea fowl chicken that they sell, it was whole & I asked them if they could cut it up into pieces for me, they said No they dont cut chicken. No you people in there are just lazy AF! How can you have a fish & meat section with a butchery in the back & you dont cut your meat or scale your fish? And on top of it, majority of your food is expired. This is how you treat your customers? Listen you people in there need to get your ish together before the Food & Drug Administration come in there to inspect the place. Bc if they do, this place will be shut down. Maybe if you need to buy Palm oil or noodles, you can come here but anything serious, NO WAY. Once again, Im so dissapointed in this place
