    SourcePointe

I am posting my review here AFTER the ability to post a review was removed from their Facebook…read morepage: I have never left a negative review for a company before, but that changes today. My wife works for a company that uses SourcePointe to handle their payroll. A few months ago, when she began working for her employer, she did not receive her first paycheck. When she called SourcePointe, she was told by Olivia, the SourcePointe employee assigned to handle payroll for my wife's company, that my wife is not an actual employee of that company. Without listening to my wife as she explained what was going on, Olivia did nothing to help. Olivia was extremely unprofessional and refused to speak with anyone but one of my wife's supervisors. Eventually, that situation was resolved after my wife asked her supervisors to take care of it for her. That's what it took for her to simply receive her first paycheck. Fast forward a few months later, and we receive a payroll check in the mail today. We have direct deposit set up, so this is certainly out of the ordinary. When we looked at the check, we realized that the deductions for insurance, 401(k), and taxes were incorrect. So, my wife called to figure out what was going on with her paycheck. Olivia once again answered the phone, but this time, she told my wife that she had been terminated, and that is why the (incorrect) check had been mailed to her. Now, my wife, according to her own supervisor, is a great employee and works her tail off for her company. As my wife explained that she had not been terminated, she was told by Olivia that the reason for the check was because she was terminated. After my wife spoke with her supervisor, she was assured that she had NOT been fired. Clearly, there had been a mistake on the part of Olivia at SourcePointe. Without knowing the details, Olivia had terminated my wife in the SourcePointe payroll system AND terminated all of her insurance benefits on June 24. Considering that she and I both had dental appointments on June 26, this became a needlessly stressful situation. Even once Olivia had heard from my wife's supervisors that she had not been terminated, Olivia blamed others for her careless mistake and told my wife that she would have to drive an hour to meet her supervisor, give her the check, and then she could possibly fix the problem. After multiple conversations with Olivia and her supervisor, Rodney, the situation, we are told, will be resolved. Needless to say, Olivia's lack of competency and professionalism has led to unnecessary psychological and emotional stress for both my wife and me. Rodney, something needs to be done to resolve this issue. Mr. Robby Pierce, if Rodney will not solve the situation, then it is left in your hands. Olivia is costing your company your reputation, your business efficiency, and your potential profits. There are far too many people who are looking for a job who will work hard for you and for your company for you to continue to employ any individual who is incompetent, unprofessional, and simply uncaring to the client. To make a mistake is to be human, but to not be professional and respectful in fixing your mistake is to be an extremely poor employee. Update: Tuesday, August 2, 2016: After reviews being removed from the Facebook page for SourcePointe LLC and my posts to the page being removed, and after a phone call from a manager at SourcePointe, my wife's paycheck was deposited correctly into our banking account yesterday, and we are told that her benefits are once again taken care of. That being said, we were simply told that they would look into the situation.
