Brett's Response: "That is the oddest professional practice business model I have heard..... working for free? If there is some error or omission in our work, we address that without charge of course. Maybe that is why they have not been charging you for these amendments, because the returns were filed incorrectly? Also, it seems they have been unable to resolve the issue, so you may be getting what you pay for..... I apologize if there was any misunderstanding that I will charge a fee for any services provided. My time is my inventory for sale. I cannot give it away. That said, at least the mystery is solved for both years. From the looks of it, online software for my personal are comparable to Strategic Tax & Accounting, however you're at your own mercy by not having someone guide you if you have any questions. This office is neatly located outside of busy downtown Birmingham with adequate private parking and super friendly staff. I'd recommend Strategic Tax & Accounting any day of the week. Way to go guy! Greeted by very friendly staff and taken right back to get started. She reviewed all of my paperwork very carefully and asked all sorts of questions in an attempt to maximize my deductions. Very friendly as she completed all of the online paperwork and very knowledgeable. Staff worked well together and you can tell they like what they are doing. Once the completed my taxes they filed electronically and I was all wrapped up. They offer some great options for audit protection so make sure to find out the details. Also, I switched from a different company and qualified for a $100 eCard. I would recommend!!!!!!
