Shawn took a look around, listened to what I had in mind, and thankfully told me what would or wouldn't work. He picked a beautiful quartz counter top, gave me options to choose from for the paint, faucet and hardware. He has a great team working for him. They were respectful and trustworthy. The refinished cabinets look like new. They do high quality work. He made his best effort to get things done within the time frame discussed but, as with any renovation, there were some unexpected issues that led to minor delays and affected cost. I really appreciated how his main concern was that I was happy with the end result. Before and in process photos attached (forgot to take a picture of the final product and don't want to clean the kitchen right now).

A thorough search LED us to Shawn and Create Interior Design. He came and met with us several times to explain his process and guide us through the entire project step by step. He drafted several design concepts based on our input and refined them until we were happy. After the basics had been locked down, it was much easier for us to choose specific tiles, colors and fixtures. The lifelike 3D renderings provided a clear vision of what the finished bathroom would look like, and removed all the guesswork and stress from this project. Shawn provided us with an extremely detailed list of every item and exact cost for the project including scheduling, permits, demo, construction, inspections and every material and fixture. It was clear that we were in experienced and competent hands. We chose to have Shawn and his team handle the project and complete all of the work period his crew was incredible. Each craftsman who worked on different parts of the remodeling was clearly a skilled professional with attention to detail and pride in their workmanship. They accommodated small changes and dealt with unforeseen issues as they occurred. Despite the scale and duration of this total remodel, they kept the work area much cleaner and more organized than we had expected. The finshed result is truly amazing. We now have a totally new bathroom which is the highlight of the entire house. We would highly recommend Create Interior Design and Shawn's thorough approach to designing, documenting, organizing and implementing your home remodeling dream project.

A Masterful Designer & Project Manager - Highly Recommend!…read more After experiencing severe water damage in our kitchen, we initially set out to remodel just that space. However, as we got deeper into the process, we quickly realized how overwhelming it was without a designer. What started as a kitchen renovation soon expanded into a full home transformation--kitchen, bathrooms, family, living, and dining rooms--all of which desperately needed an update from their original 1992 construction. After months of searching and interviewing designers, we found Alina Druga Interiors. My wife was especially drawn to her award-winning designs, and after glowing reference checks, we confidently hired her for both the design and project management phases. From the very beginning, Alina brought a sense of clarity and structure to what had been a chaotic and overwhelming process. One of Alina's greatest strengths is her ability to ask the right questions to truly understand her clients' style and needs. She introduced us to ideas we would never have considered, while also being straightforward and honest about what would or wouldn't work--and, more importantly, why. She has a gift for refining ideas into something cohesive, tasteful, and elegant. Beyond her impeccable design skills, Alina is extremely detail-oriented and proactive. She spotted potential construction issues early on, saving us from costly mistakes. Her detailed CAD drawings were invaluable in helping us visualize the design and made things significantly smoother for our contractor. Thanks to her meticulous planning and years of experience, the entire process was well-organized--so by the time construction began, every material, appliance, and detail was already accounted for. While the preparation process took about a year, the actual construction went remarkably smoothly and was completed in just four months. Now, every time we walk through the door, we feel happy and relaxed in our beautifully designed home. It truly feels like the house we've wanted for years--our happy place! Alina's expertise, organization, and eye for design transformed our home into something modern, inviting, and perfectly suited to our lifestyle. If you are looking for a designer who is not only talented but also an exceptional project manager, we highly recommend Alina Druga Interiors!

A Design Studio Worth Their Weight in Gold!…read more Hiring Andrea from Jeffery Design Studio was hands down the best decision we made for our home renovation (Full Kitchen, Fireplace/Nook, Downstairs flooring, New Staircase). At first, I hesitated because their services seemed expensive (this was our first time using a designer so had sticker shock at first..lol), but let me tell you, they are worth every single penny--and then some. From start to finish, they were the epitome of professionalism: meticulous, incredibly organized, and an absolute lifesaver when (inevitably) things didn't go as planned. With their years of experience, they anticipated issues before they arose and had solutions ready at a moment's notice. They created a detailed binder for our contractor that included every tiny detail, ensuring the process ran as smoothly as possible. And somehow, they knew exactly what we would like--even when we couldn't articulate it ourselves. We wanted a home that was comfortable yet polished, something inviting and warm but not overly casual. They delivered beyond our wildest expectations. Now, we love our house so much that I don't want to leave it! It feels like us --not stuffy, not sterile, but also not like a college apartment. It's perfection. If you're on the fence about hiring Andrea, don't be. Not only will they magically understand what you want/need, they do an incredible job in the day to day process and are an investment in your sanity, your style, and your happiness. I couldn't recommend them more highly! (i can't post too many pictures for privacy reasons, but if anyone wants to know more details, please reach out. But from day one, Jill exceeded our expectations. The project involved tearing down an old, dilapidated screened-in porch that had never really worked for us -- too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer -- and transforming it into a usable interior room. We wanted to keep the light and airy feel of a porch while gaining insulation, comfort, and year-round usability. We also wanted ideas for built-ins: maybe a window seat, maybe bookshelves -- we weren't quite sure. Other contractors over the years had taken one look at the porch and declined to get involved due to its age and condition. Not Jill. She had ideas right away. Jill brings so much energy, creativity, and practical knowledge to the table. Even while juggling big personal commitments (like her son's graduation across the country), she delivered several strong design ideas within a few weeks -- and they were fresh, inspiring, and budget-conscious. She collaborated easily with our civil engineer, adjusting her drawings quickly to meet his needs. She also understands our local codes and regulations really well, and met directly with our contractors to make sure her designs were realistic and executable before we got too far into the process. On top of all that, Jill has a fantastic personality. She made the experience fun and engaging, and she brought a sense of momentum and confidence that really helped us move forward. I can't recommend Jill highly enough -- her creativity, responsiveness, and enthusiasm make her a true gem. If you're considering working with TANGERINEdesign LLC, you're in excellent hands. I had a whole house to design: remodeling and furnishing over 2100 square feet from floor to ceiling, this was a daunting assignment. With her expertise, we remodeled my entire home. I wanted my space to have a feel of our heritage along with my love for traditional pieces. She was able to create a very classic design with exquisite sourced furnishing pieces and custom details. She has an amazing eye for design, color, composition, placement and how to engage you in her thorough process. Her Design meetings were very descriptive & detailed. The scope was big, as we decided to do entryway, kitchen, dining, powder room, living, loft and master bedroom. During our design review meetings (which ran 3 hours), she was well prepared with her design boards and presented us all the options, her preferences and cost details. Coming out of each meeting, we knew significant progress was made. She presented new ideas and designs that we would not have chosen or thought of ourselves. Rati was very responsive during the entire process - either through emails, texts, phone calls.  She has completely transformed our place. We needed more seating in our living area, and she was able to create that without making the area overly crowded. Our loft got transformed into a fully functional area for informal family seating. All you need is getting your contractors and have them implement the design/decor that Rati suggests.  As the project progressed, I wish she had brought up budget constraints in consideration. Final installation was hard to do on video calls, and we wished she was present. Given how she has transformed our place, we would still recommend Rati. She has impeccable taste and aesthetic sense. Anyone who comes to our abode cannot stop appreciating it.
