I fell in love with the Stained Market Place just from seeing the inventory on the outside of the…read morebuilding! The pieces of fencing and trellises called to me to buy, buy, buy. Inside the building was like going into my grandfather's old garage where years of salvageable items had been stored in the event some part was needed again for another project. Waste not, want not, right? Stained Market Place carries so many oddball pieces. Things you don't think you need until you see them and then wonder how you did without having it. Pieces that can come together and create a work of art. I took an old and weathered white picket fence and transformed it into two large garden signs that I gave as gifts. The picket fence cost me $5.00. Everything there is reasonably priced. Go there and check it out. You'll be glad you did!

I was looking for a thrift store but when this popped up after a quick search, I knew I had to check it out! I'm so glad the denizens of Yelp had already reviewed this particular locale, because I knew I was in for a treat. I only spent a few bucks but I walked out with a fun assortment of treasures! I got some vintage domino pieces I plan to turn into jewelry as well as some old toy pieces, etc. There is such a random assortment of odds and ends, from pure vintage items to glorified junk--you have to be willing to commit to the search, which is half the fun. Definitely stop by and check out this hidden gem, you won't regret it if you're a true treasure hunter!

I went for a first time on a Sunday afternoon, and business was booming. I will say that they had…read morethe largest, most organized collection of clothing that I have ever seen in a local thrift store. This made up the bulk of the store, although they did have smaller sections of purses, shoes, electrical cords, etc. Signage was everywhere, so it was easy to find shirts or dresses or pants, etc. The problem came when you actually tried to pay for what you wanted. One person was working the register, and the line kept getting longer and longer. 2 other workers went behind the counter, and hope bloomed that they would open another register, but no luck. They were more interested in talking to each other, and distracting the one person actually ringing people up. After literally not advancing in the line for over 5 minutes, I gave up and left.

They have a large selection of men's, women's, and kids' clothing, with plenty of new items to look through on every visit. I especially like their rotating color-tag sales, which make it easy to find some great deals. Even the items that aren't currently on sale are generally reasonably priced compared with other thrift stores in the area. I visit City Thrift about four times a week, and I almost always find something new. With the combination of good prices, a large selection, frequent sales, and constantly changing inventory, it has become my go-to thrift store in Tampa.

I came here in search of finding gently used cowboy or rodeo type clothing and accessories. I was…read moregoing to a theme party that I needed those items for in which I had nothing even close other than a jean jacket. The store was full of different items and had accessories, jewelry, shoes along with the clothes. The best thing was the employees asked me what I was looking for and then quickly helped me find different items that I may be interested in so I didn't have to search the entire store myself. This saved me a ton of time and anxiety has going through stores like this. Sometimes give me an anxiety attack. Since everything is unique and not like in a regular store where one rack will have the same item but in different sizes. My night went off perfectly, and I was definitely dressed the part without having to buy brand new and spending a small fortune on items I will most likely not wear again.

I've been to a few Uptown Cheapskate locations and enjoyed them and this one did not disappoint!…read more They have dozens of name brand clothing and accessories for such reasonable prices. There's even some designer brands, and it's all very well organized. I especially love their variety of athletic brands- fabletics, lululemon (of course), athleta, nike, nobull, and many more. I got 2 full fabletics/ athleta outfits for literally like $60, which is probably 2-3 that buying brand new in store. There are options for the guys, too- I brought my dad here and helped him find a few nice dress shirts for about $15 a piece, and they were really nice brands like Tommy Bahama, etc. If you want new sneakers or shoes, they had a really impressive collection here. I had to have very strong self control not to cop a few pairs of sneakers. These are a little pricier, but still much cheaper then buying new.

My first time visiting and I was impressed with a comic store so close to Oldsmar. Also a good selection of comic supplies such as boxes, Mylar bags, backing boards, and more. Since my main concern was comics, I checked over their huge collections, very well organized. Also a fair stock of many Silver Age books. Since I am in the process of downsizing my 60+ year collection of mostly Golden Age and Silver Age, about the only things I am looking for is (1) an affordable Batman #1 (LOL) and a handful of EC comics from the 50s. But I came for a specific reason - to get a long box of comics to share with grandkids and mostly donate to the local USO. There is a whole wall of long box comics on sale for $1 individual, plus a long box of your choice for $75. One row across the top and another on the floor beneath. I spent about 90 minutes grazing through for appropriate books for service members and families, nothing PG or higher. The manager was very knowledgeable about comics and very helpful. I did bring my own long box to fill.
