Including tools, safety equipment, jackets, jewelry, pet supplies, wide variety vehicle oils and other fluids, knick knaks, and more. Everything was clean and organized as well. Not a favorite Flying J personally. While pulling into the fuel pumps, there were other trailers ahead of me. They all could not maneuver going forward and all ended up backing up instead. It all works out for everyone, but I found it being a hassle for the 25 plus footers and it affects everyone. Not their fault of course. Everyone please give these drivers space. They need your understanding. While there Dairy Queen wasn't open and they did not have hot food available as well. Not sure what that's all about. Perhaps it's a COVID-19 thing? read more

We were hesitant to stay based on the 3 stars from older reviews, but we slept great in our vehicle and the showers were SO clean! We are extremely satisfied with our experience here! The man working the counter who gave us the keys was so kind, as was the woman cleaning the restrooms. We got in late and left early, so no experience with the petting zoo but I can say we didn't smell poo or hear any animals all night long! read more

I have mixed reviews on this location. On the positive side, Flying J always is reliable for clean restrooms, great snacks, decent fuel prices and friendly staff. And it's next to a petting zoo! On the negative side: there is no safe place to walk your dog - the only grass is in front of the petting zoo, and they have multiple signs posted no pets. The layout is really weird. I couldn't open the case to get an energy drink because it blocks the entrance to the restroom and there was a lot of traffic there. The layout of the ladies room is weird. We had an emergency blow out between exits. We call RV Share, they got in contact with Randy from Flying J. He was our savior. Not only did he respond to the call in 15 min, but changed our trailer tire and then followed behind us the rest of the 8 miles to their shop. Once in the shop he took and repaired the bad tire, and 2 add'l ones. We had a great experience and just want to shout out to his boss that he has a gem of an employee. Nice gas station. Fuel was decently priced for the area. The had super clean and updated restrooms. Typical gas station food inside and seemed to have a decent variety. I roadtrip on I-15 through Utah fairly often, and almost every trip I make a stop at the Flying J in Scipio. Really, it's the best place to stop between Nephi and Fillmore (just off exit 188). The state of Utah has closed almost all of their public-facilitated rest stops, and have instead created partnerships with existing service stations. The Scipio Flying J is one of them. Not only are the restrooms consistently clean, but there is a ridiculously awesome selection of food items, drinks, and souvenirs. Need to grab a #PDR? Check! Cheese curds? Check! Caramel popcorn balls? Check! Hi-Chew Japanese candy? Check! Shot glasses that say "Eat, drink, and be merry...for tomorrow you may be in Utah"? Check. Gas prices at the Flying J are among the lowest you'll see in central Utah. But in addition to the Flying J, there's a drive-thru Dairy Queen and a mishmash petting zoo. Decently clean restrooms. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they sell souvenir license plates for $12.99 which got me head over heels!! The states available will vary but when I visited on 7/26/22, they had plates from Utah obviously (different kinds), Idaho, California, Texas, Colorado (both green and red), Arizona, and even Oregon!! Some of the other souvenirs were like shot glasses, keychains, magnets, mugs... etc. There were only like 6 or 7 pumps? Keep in mind, let's say you pull up to the pump, the nozzle is on the right side but your tank is on the left, you may not be able to fill up because the nozzle won't extend like other gas stations... depending on the car you're driving. Also a bit pricey but what do you expect, it is in the middle of nowhere. $5.09 for 87 gas iirc? There also is a petting zoo that is right beside the gas station! Other than that, I'm definitely stopping over here next opportunity I get. read more

We had emergency tire trouble traveling between California and Utah 5 minutes before any tire shop within 50 miles was closing. Not only was Priscilla at the counter exceedingly helpful to me on the phone, she made a call to their mechanic Randy who was the hero of the day for returning to the shop more than an hour and a half after closing to assist us with great service at a fair price. Loved this truck stop! Plenty of room, not crowded, traveling in a 34ft fifth wheel I would feel comfortable staying over night well light up and they even have a petting zoo on site! So cool!!! If you are traveling with kids a great place to stretch your legs! read more

It would serve fuel customers & truck drivers fairly & properly off-15 to have choices other than hot dogs, nachos, & ready made deli stuff. They work hard & long hours transporting goods we all use every day, including fuel!! Closest fast food or restaurants are Fillmore or Salina!! A good place to stop for a stretch break. Unfortunately, the Dairy Queen was closed when we were there. The restrooms were clean, and they have a well stocked convenience store. Karlee, Shannon, and Whitney were all working Saturday night and I don't think I have ever seen gas station workers that were so breathtakingly beautiful and they were also working their asses off! Don't EVER get gas here!! On our way to lake Powell, my girls had to use the restroom (which bathroom was dirty btw) grabbed snacks & decided to fill up half a tank In my Jeep with the cheap unleaded gas. Worst mistake ever! Why you ask? Because not even 20 mins later the check engine light came on. This happened with my other friend's Jeep too. We both pulled off at the next exit (Holden) to check things out, keep in mind there's no services there. Nothing was wrong with my Jeep (mines a '15 & I'd just had it serviced to go on said trip, so everything was in tip top shape). Also my friends Jeep is a '12 and his was fine too. The next gas station was in Fillmore, so we figured we'd take it easy and check at the Napa in Fillmore to be on the safe side. Both of us ran the engine code key check, both read "done" with no codes being thrown. Turns out when we got to Napa, the mechanic's first question was if we'd filled up in Scipio. When we said yes, he said "if we had a dollar for every time someone stopped in here for a check engine light after filling up in scipio, we'd be rich. Their gas is watered down and awful." So word to the wise- after both of us Jeep owners having no other issues, but the light coming on after filling up here- steer FAR & CLEAR from the gas here. Your engine is worth putting more expensive gas in it from a reputable place, rather than it possibly ruining your engine with cheap gas. read more

SCAM SCAM SCAM!! Do not go to this GAS station unless you want to be ROBBED BLIND!!! We stopped for gas along our route and were immediately approached by a southern CHARMER that instantly pointed out that we had a tire issue and that we should have the tire shop take a look at it. However he failed to mention that he worked there. Needless to say $700 and about 30 mins later we left with 4 new tires. All in all we paid over 3 times the amount for the same style tires . Most of the time we would give this location a 4 or 5 star rating. Unfortunately our trip July 31, 2018 I was not treated well. I purchased a fruit package that was marked $2.99, but charged 3.39 plus tax. When showing the cashier that it was marked $2.99 he blamed the wrong pricing on another employee, and refused to honor the customer first, as any other store would have. All he said was, "Sorry", as if I was at fault. I think the name of the employee was Jordan. His clerk # is 111. We will think twice about going here again. It's too bad too. They treated me and my cross country team like crap and wanted us out of there right after we got in. They charged me a whole dollar for an empty cup!!! A quarter makes sense but a dollar? Dumb. Got to the tire shop at this truck stop minutes before closing time. Needed air for a low tire on my travel trailer. George asked if we would like it fixed. (slow leak). Turns out our suspension linkage was shot as well. They kept the shop open for us, repaired the tire and replaced the suspension linkage. (had parts in stock) and allowed us to stay parked overnight. Cannot say enough about George and this shop. Really saved our bacon being far from home NV. Impressed enough that we are going to stop back in a few weeks on a return trip to CO the have him upgrade the springs on our TT to a set of heavy duty springs. G&G tire Service at the Flying J. Pulled in there for fuel for our motorhome as was told our front tires were about to separate as were the rears. Went to the tire place that's there and he scared both my wife and I implying they were a safety hazard and needed replacement. Assured us that his prices were very comparable to the discount places and he did have a huge inventory. We replaced 4 tires at $1100.00 each plus stuff. When we got back to the desert, I found that the same tires could be had for $805.00 each and less than $700.00 if I went thru FMCA.
