Usually stop here on our way to NY. There are plenty of pumps. People are usually coming in and out whenever we are there. There is parking for RVs too. There is a store inside to get whatever snacks and drinks you may need for your trip. There is also a Denny's restaurant if you want to stop and eat. It is a truck stop so they offer showers. On long road trips, I primarily stop at travel centers/truck stops for gas, snacks and bathroom breaks. This Flying J location was a good choice. Very large, well lit parking lot extends around the building, which has multiple entrances. I took the opportunity to stretch my legs and go for a walk. Felt very safe. It wasn't too late, maybe 10 pm, but there were few customers so the gas pumps were practically empty. The store is well stocked with a variety of typical food offerings, as well as Pilot coffee, which is very good. The store and bathroom were clean. Omg first time at Flying J. Only reviewing the restroom areas. Clean, big, bright restrooms. Seat covers and a child seat next to toilet for traveling mom's available! There is a rest area with tv for truckers to sleep or rest. Private (passcode) showers and coin laundry to the side. Never seen anything like it so I am impress. Most rest stops or gas stations restrooms are dirty or okay. It was clean. read more

You know, flying J has never been bad as a store or a truckstop. Are used to get gas at flying J growing up long before I was ever a truck driver. Back in the day, and I mean like 10 to 12 years ago, we will order pizza from the flying J. It was that good. (or maybe I was just younger and didn't know the difference) Better than dominoes and all the other local stores around but something has happened in the recent years. All their food has just gone to $+!¥. I've known this for quite some time but today I was hungry. So hungry that I didn't follow my gut and wanted to feed my gut. So I broke down and bought two slices of pizza from flying J. (Buzzer sound) wrong answer! Trash as usual. I really think it's because they make it for the masses and aren't sure how long it will sit under the warmer so the longer it sits, the doner it gets. So when it's fresh, it's not good. I swallowed the first bite While grimacing and switched to the second slice and took another bite hoping it would be better even though it's from the same pizza. I was mad at myself for wasting the money but I knew better. If you're going to buy pizza from flying J, order it and tell them you want it cooked 2 to 3 minutes longer than normal and it comes out pretty damn good. But do not buy it from the hot bar. For a truckstop that feeds hundreds of truckers a day you'd think they'd care more but o guess no one complains so they just keep doing it. I won't go into detail on the rest of the hot bar food but let's just say, I don't buy it either. Just move on down the line. On a positive note... uh, oh yeah, they have good showers. I stopped here yesterday to fill up on the way back from a day in the Southern Tier of New York after having lunch with friends. The Flying J has good prices for an in the country off the Interstate location. It is easy off and on which made the stop quick. There were few customers, so I drove right in, filled up, and was on my way in minutes. read more

I always make this stop when I'm heading back to NJ from my parents' house. The gas is cheaper here than in NY where they live, plus I can get snacks, coffee or sit down for something to eat. Occassionaly I'll hit the gas station across the street (attached to McDonald's) but usually this place has cheaper gas. Also, they have Denny's to-go, and you know I can't pass that up! read more

I was in on 7-14 about 8:30 A.M. The tornadoes (like a little burrito) and other breakfast items where on the self serve grill with a sign saying they were not ready. The grill was chuck full. I bypassed and got some donuts and coffee and as I was at the register mentioned that it was late in the day to be cooking breakfast items. That is when I was told that "Oh we forget to take the sign down" On my afternoon stop bathroom filthy and out of paper towels. Came here for fuel & a coffee you know a pick me up and was told to wait all of the coffee was gone. Two cashiers looking like duh! I don't know what to do!? It pisses me off that people who work in the trucking industry don't want much and the fact we are on a time limit money to make they tell us to wait is just flat out rude! Do your job! I will make every attempt to bypass this location. This used to be a much more organized happy place when this hyper lady used to work the machines in the mornings don't see her and it's a shame she livened up the place now it's just a fuel & go oh FYI coffee is way better at the Sunoco down the street. read more

This is the only gas station I would recommend you get chicken at. Their chicken is better than Boston Market. Their soups are good too. I've never had a stomach ache from eating there and it is always tasty. The gas is good too. read more

This place has the worst customer service and everything is overpriced. only one cashier and line is longer than my truck. Wait for the shower is like 25 minutes and they really suck It seems like the Manager don't care or they got so much business they don't care. I wish my company don't send me here to get fuel. OK so I stop In for a bite to eat at Dennys and the waitress is awesome very a tentative and then I go and do some laundry and I ask the guy at the front for a shower ... makes a small joke ask if I have a rewards card ... I say no he says you need to ask nicely for one ... so I go along with it ... he gives me all the info on how it works ... very informative ... all in all good experience here ... thank you Joe ...
