I ordered two chorizo tacos that came out piping hot. So hot I had to put them down for a minute. Came with some lime and verde sauce and with only white onion and cilantro, just how I like them. My husband got a carnitas quesadilla and frankly I had food envy, it looked so good! Service was friendly and they also had Jarritos which I also love. They take cash and cards. Definitely worth the stop!

Homemade Hot Sauce was awesome on the shrimp and the fish needed no tarter, although the truck made (house made) tartar sauce was perfection. Wish I had more fries and Hushpuppies. I didn't eat the coleslaw because the entrees were more than enough. I will be tracking down this truck to enjoy their other options.

I do not have access to my phone while working, so I didn't find out that my order was not ready until I went to go pick it up. The person who ordered to pick up at the same time got her food she ordered (the special, same as me), but they did not have the food to fulfill my order and I had to wait another 15 minutes (wasting part of my lunch) to put in my order. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. I think if you allow people to text in their orders, you should make sure you have the food to fulfill it before you respond "Ok" to confirm that it will be done. When people are working and pre-plan their order to pick up, they don't have time to wait around.

When I read some of these Saint Louis area reviews on food trucks, I laugh because a lot act like…read morethe food trucks just came this area around 6 years ago and it's a new hip thing. I also have to remind myself that a lot of the people saying this in their reviews may not originally be from the St Louis area (which is ok) or they have grown up in an area in St Louis that never had them. As far as I can remember, there were food trucks around my way back in the early 1980's. However, when I talk to the old heads, they go even further back to the 1960's in St Louis (and again that all depends on where you lived). So while the industry itself is not new to Saint Louis, my food experience with Street life is. When the Street Life truck pulled up at my location, I decided to do something I never do: try an oyster po'boy sandwich other than my mother's. ) It's just something I never would do, until now and wow the oysters were fried to a caramel brown perfection. The roll was fresh and nicely toasted. The pickles onions and aioli sauce complemented the fried oysters extremely well.  Fries were hot and crispy. The staff was courteous and nice. The wait time was about 10 minutes. 5/5 If the Street Life truck is ever in your vicinity, don't act brand new... Check them out!!!
