Wanted to take her jet skiing. But my plan was almost derailed when a google search turned up 2 horrible "companies". If you can even call them that. The first place doesn't exist, literally a fake name with a fake address, and they told me a didn't need a reservation and sent me to a place on the beach that had terrible customer service and apparently no jet skis to rent. I guess he was wrong about needing a reservation. So we ended up here on the recommendation from a friendly parking liaison. All of the guys at Ft. Lauderdale Parasail were really friendly and outgoing. They made us feel welcome and they really took care of us! The overall experience was so much better han we could hope for. The way it works is you start off on the taking the skis out with a guide on intercostal and since there's a speed limit, it takes about 10-15 mins to get to the open ocean where you can really open those baby's up. Initially I wasn't stoked about this idea but It's actually pretty cool because you get a nice tour while you cruise for the first few mins while getting used to the jet skis so by the time you get to the ocean you're ready for all out throttle. Plus the intercostal is a really nice sight. Again my appreciation goes out to Dan and George, who really exceeded my expectations and saved what started out as a complete nightmare. Will definitely visit these guys again!!

I booked this trip a month and a half in advance due to an Instagram post and their 5 star reviews. I talked to the owner on the phone and shared that we had four small children and four adults. I was told the boat held 10 people. We discussed going to peanut island and everything seemed great. I showed up on the day of departure (with all of our food and drinks)...was allowed to board the boat only to find out they booked us for a captain who was only allowed to charter six people. After several phone calls, we were told we had to get off the boat or leave two people behind. Obviously having two families - we didn't have the option of kicking two people off! They agreed to refund our money but ruined our Memorial Day weekend plans of enjoying a boat!! It might not seem like a big deal - but explaining this to four small kids....it's heartbreaking. I thought someone would at least reach out with an apology of some sorts....as this was beyond ridiculous and even sent a message hoping for some type of explanation- NOTHING! At this point, I just want to save another family from booking a charter with them - especially if they are here for a few days as you can't trust this company to be responsible enough to actually take you out on the boat! More importantly, the owner could care less about making things right or extending a simple apology. If I was able to give zero stars- I would! Again! We book throughout the year for adaptive diving groups, veteran groups, and recreational sport dives, which often means coordinating groups with different needs, schedules, and logistics. We need to be able to depend on the operators we work with, and Parrot Island has always been dependable and easy to work with. Communication has been professional, and we have always felt that our groups were well taken care of. Most importantly for us, they know their business and keep safety foremost in how they operate. When you are bringing adaptive divers and veterans aboard, that matters tremendously. We would not continue booking year after year if we did not have confidence in both their professionalism and their commitment to safety. They are also simply a joy to work with. We genuinely appreciate the relationship we have built with Parrot Island over the years and look forward to many more dives with them. We are happy to recommend them based on our own years of experience.

His son had no idea about the booking but told me he confirmed we were good to go. I still couldn't get ahold of Jerry. Finally a week before the trip I called and Jerry answered. He was extremely condescending, scolding me for not following up on the booking and saying he "never heard back from me" in such a rude and misogynistic tone. He changed his tune really quick when I told him I have been trying to get a hold of him for at least a month, and also spoke to his son who confirmed the dives (he had no idea). He then expected me to still trust his professionalism and use his service. No thanks. As a business owner I find it appalling to scold your potential clients for YOUR own neglect. Do better.
