Look'in at a picture of a mattress ain't exactly putt'in your keister on it ... is it? I jumps in…read morethe boiler cause I needs a new mattress. I drove to this joint and met up with Shaun there. I gives him the third degree about mattresses. After bump'in gums awhile I decide this dude knows more about mattresses than I does box jobs. And I know a lot about box jobs. He tries to get me a custom cut size mattress, cause I'm a customized kind of cat. But the crew that helps him do custom orders ain't gonna make it happen. Still, he tries for me and gets back to me right away when it won't work. Was a time a goon like me could get a custom fitted suit, shoes to match and a broad in a matching dress to go. Those days are gone. But enough of my blathering on. This joint ain't no flim flam. When Shaun couldn't make the custom thing happen he made me a "deal you can't refuse" ... my Godfather would be proud to have him in the family. He even loaded it on my truck. Loaded it in the alley in the daylight even, unusual for me, I'm more of a after midnight out the back discount shopper. So when you look around your crib and it looks like a hurricane of pizza boxes and dirty glasses have just passed thru knocking over the crates you use for tables. If you want a soft place to sit and a decent nights sleep, motor on down there. Who could say, if you do, some dame might even be willing to come over. Shaun created a deal for the cabbage I wanted to lay down for me. He might for you too. Talk to him in the back. That's where all the good deals are made. Tell him Hammer sent cha. Now, I'mma dust on outta here ...

They let us crawl all over their mattresses (respectfully of course) until we found one that felt right and we could afford. They didn't try to sell us more than we could afford; and when they delivered, on-time as promised, they also helped my wife return a fairly heavy dry sink to its original spot since we had to move it so they could get the mattress into the house. Great people. Great experience. Great mattress. What more could anyone ask for?

They had very well put together Christmas decorations already on full display, their trees were just gorgeous. The home-made (well, store-made, in their on site kitchen) fudge was terrific! I sampled the Maple, but wound up buying 1/4 lb of the Heavenly Hash - a chocolate base with all sorts of finely ground nuts. My boyfriend had a bite of the Butter Rum with Sea Salt, and said it was yummy, but I'm not a Sea Salt kinda person so I took his word for it. The friendly ladies behind the counter were helpful and pointed out some of the local items. I appreciated them taking the extra step of carefully wrapping my glass jar of jam before placing it in the bag. I only grabbed a small amount of the items I'll need before making a care package and send it out, so you can be sure I'll be back!

Know this, you are going to pay FULL RETAIL Price! There is no negotiation! And she is direct! You think your going antiquing, bargains and maybe a little haggling---Nope! She is having none of that! Full price BABY! "That stuff flys off my shelf, there is no reason to drop the price!" so there is no haggling! I am happy for her! I love supporting small businesses! Might I suggest next time to tone down the arrogance of how well your business is doing. First there's joking-then there's NO~ Grrrrr! It was all about her tone... was a turn off, I thought about leaving and not buying the item....But I wanted it! Dang it! I don't have a reason to come back at this point and wouldn't make a special trip If I did. I'd google it! Sorry, I was on vacation was impulse buying and I would have spent more if the attitude was better--- I really liked bird houses! If she spent more time suggesting other things maybe I'd have gotten both! Good Luck and may this help you and not hurt your business.
