I am a Spanish native speaker and haven't flown on the right seat before I went to Hawaii. I was strugling with 'call outs' and handling the airplane before my checkride. Gene gave me about 10hrs of flight training and a few of ground, but I have to say that he went above and beyond with his efforts to help me pass my tests. Now I am living the dream in this paradise. I am not currently a gun owner, but I wanted to educate myself on proper usage and the laws regarding gun ownership. I didn't know what to expect but whatever my expectations were, they were greatly exceeded! They were novices such as myself in the class as well as current gun owners and prior military; this was a co-ed class. They had refreshments available, to include good coffee. This is a Black owned business, and I was happy to patronize. I also purchased a unit of pepper gel and a book during our break. We did not go to the range during this class but were told we could go on our own time. I tried to use the "contact us" section of the website to get info about scheduling my range practice. I did not get a response, but this review reminded me to look at pictures I'd taken during class. I have emails and telephone numbers for the instructors, so I'll be reaching out tomorrow. If you're considering taking a course or purchasing a fire arm, you won't be disappointed using Black Diamond.
