There are so many wonderful things I could say about Despi. First off, of course, is she is an artist! She puts so much love and care into her work - you can tell she is a pro at what she does. And her work speaks for itself! I get compliments on my lashes for weeks, even when it's fill-in time. She is truly a master. But above all, Despi treats all of her clients as gold. Since my first appointment with her, I felt like we were old friends. She is funny, caring, honest and always has the best stories. I'm so happy to have found her and would recommend her to anyone who is looking! read more

Despy is the ABSOLUTE best of the best! Do not go anywhere else! I had been nervous to try lash extensions again after having had a horrible experience at Blink Bar (dirty salon, uneducated staff, cheap products). I'm in the beauty industry so I know what to look out for! When a respected beauty industry friend of mine recommended Despy a year ago, I decided to give false lashes one last chance. Anddddd.....I'm SO glad I did! My lashes have never looked better. Despy is extremely talented and meticulous. She really listens to your beauty goal and matches it seamlessly. It's clear she's passionate about her work. On top of being an amazing lash artist, she has the heart of gold. She rescues animals when she's not working and nurses them back to health (dogs, cats, bunnies, you name it!). She's very personal and will keep you entertained while she works! I'd give her 100 stars if I could! Worth every penny! read more

Flutter & Flirt - Beautiful NATURAL lashes! Exactly the look I wanted!!! - Eyelash Service Near Me - Culver City, California

I found Flutter And Flirt through Yelp when I moved to LA, and I'm so happy that I did. I've gotten my lashes done consistently in New York and Philadelphia over the years, and my experience with Despi has been unparalleled. Despi is a true professional--she is extremely meticulous, attaches extensions to every single lash, and works quickly with careful attention to detail. My lashes last longer than they have with any salon I've been to prior--lasting well beyond 3 weeks. I look forward to every appointment we have together because she's also an extremely charismatic, caring person. Your first visit with her will surely not be your last. I would recommend Despi to anyone and trust no one else with my lashes! read more

Despi is an amazing lash technician. Her studio is quiet, clean, and very relaxing. I always all asleep on the table LOL. I've been going to her for a year and I can imagine going anywhere else. She takes such good care of my natural lashes. I receive soooo many compliments. I love the fact that Despi uses high quality lashes and tools and even creates her own lashes to give me that perfect dramatic look. read more

Flutter & Flirt - Fill in - Eyelash Service Near Me - Culver City, California

Despi made me feel so comfortable. Everything was so clean and welcoming, I decided to get them done because I'm getting married and i didn't want mascara rolling down my face since I know I will cry. I asked her for something natural as I don't wear makeup and she executed it with flying colors! Thank you so much for listening to what I wanted. I highly recommend you get your lashes here. It was such a great experience and she was so professional! A million thanks. read more

I have one word to describe Despi and her services. That word is AMAZING!!! I have been going to different places for the past year to find someone to do my eyelashes the way I want and like them. Despi's work was perfect. She educated me on the maintenance and just eye care in general. She made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment I walked in. As a matter of fact, I felt comfortable with her from the 1st phone conversation we had. Attached are some pictures of her work on me. Both with makeup and without. Please note, I've never used any mascara or eyelash enhancer since I've gotten lashes by Despi. It's just not necessary. read more

Despi is an incredible professional and human being! I went to see Despi for the first time just before my wedding, and she made sure I had the best looking lashes I could have hoped for so that I could feel fabulous on my wedding day. I have been absolutely hooked ever since. I have gotten eyelash extensions in the past from others - those sessions were long and my lashes never lasted beyond 3 weeks (and sometimes I came away with irritated eyes). To date, I have NEVER experienced any issues with Despi's lashes - on top of that, Despi exhibits the utmost care and attention in placing the lashes so that they look perfect (and even better, last me at least a month) every single time. I feel so lucky to have found Despi and can't speak highly enough about the work she does as well as her kind, generous nature. I always feel welcome and completely at ease with her. I'm never going anywhere else for my lashes :) read more

Despi is fantastic. I came in with really damaged eyelashes from another salon and after 3 months of proper lash application (and care advise) from Flutter & Flirt my lashes are full and healthy! Despi is painstakingly meticulous and careful with her work. If I kept going on about wonderful she is I would run out of words. Her work area is a little oasis and she keeps you warm during your lashing with cozy blankets. After seeing 5 different people Despi is miles better than the rest. She's incredibly knowledgeable and is up to date on the latest techniques - taking the time to match your eye to the lashes and look it can support. Despi has consistently made my lashes last 6 weeks before they need a fill - a true testament to her craftsmanship and artistry. read more

Highly recommend Despi to anyone looking for an extremely knowledgeable lash expert! Not only does Despi have the experience and a wide breadth of product/styles, she is amazing at educating her clients and walking them through the extension application process. I've been seeing her for almost 2 years now, and I'm really glad I made the investment into seeing an industry expert over a regular eyelash salon. Every appointment I have with Despi feels very personalized and relaxed (no rushing as she doesn't schedule her appointments back to back). She deeply cares about her clients, and I felt super comfortable right off the bat. I love the finished look after each session! read more

Me and my high maintenance girlfriend came to Los Angeles and she needed to get a full set of lashes she was annoyed and just she found Despi off of Yelp (she's never happy with anything). After her experience she won't stop talking about how awesome Despi was. I never do this thing with leaving reviews but but her service was so awesome, she's funny, honest and her quality of work was nothing that my girlfriend has every seen. We now are basing our next trip down based on getting into see Despi again. read more

Despi is absolutely wonderful! I was a bit nervous and unsure of what I was getting into for my first ever lash session. She walked me through the whole process and was so friendly and calming that I quickly eased into the process. It feels a little odd at first with your lashes taped down, but you soon get used to it. I told her the kind of look I was going for and she nailed it! With the right lash length I felt like a millions dollars walking out and the lashes stayed on for ages. My second session was just as awesome and I can't wait for my next session and to show them off at my wedding! read more

I never thought I'd be addicted to anything until I went to her studio one day to try eyelash extensions " just this one time"... Well, you guessed it, I've been coming in for regular fills and I don't think I'd like a cure for this addiction! The lashes look and feel oh so natural and they stay for a long time if proper care is maintained. It is a relief not to bother with difficult to stick do-it-yourself lashes....everyday is glam day, with or without make-up! Oh, did I mention she's a total sweetheart? :) Thank you, Despi! read more

Despi is seriously the BEST. I am so lucky I found her! She has a huge selection of lashes and can do any style you like, my personal fave is the cat eye. So sexy and my fiance loves it!! She is much more knowledeable than other lash technicians and has a lot of experience and training. She also uses superier products and glue so my eyes don't get irritated. She is a total perfectionist to say the least, so I always leave looking completely flawless. Not only that, but my lashes stay on for sooooooooo long!!!!!!!!! I recently moved to New York and unfortunately cannot find anyone of her caliber out here. Lucky for me I make quite a few trips back to LA and I make sure to see her every time. When I lived in LA I went about every 5 weeks and my lashes always looked amazing. Now I only see her every few months :( but my lashes still stay on pretty well for 6-8 weeks. That is how good she is!! Her salon is clean, very private and decorated so cute and girly! She tucks you in nice and comfy on the table (similar to a massage table) and it's even heated so in the winter you stay nice and cozy. She plays relaxing music and is great at picking up on your mood. She could always tell when I was tired and didn't want to be talkative and she would let me lie there quietly and relax. Or if I was feeling chatty we always had lots to talk about and the time would fly by. The whole process takes about two hours and is much more relaxing than you would think. You basically just lie there with your eyes closed and enjoy. Remember when you go to take out your contacts! I forgot a couple times and she gave me a new, unused lens case to keep them in. The first time I went she was sure to explain everything as she went so that I understood every step. I really appreciated that since when you are lying on a table with your eyes closed for two hours with a stranger, it can be a little scary! lol! She made me feel completely comfortable and she is a total sweetheart! I've referred several friends to her and they've become addicted and love her as much as I do. If I could give her 10 stars I would!! :) read more

I was hooked after the first time Despi did my lashes. I feel so lucky to have found Despi using Yelp. The whole experience was wonderful. It was a cute cottage like salon, very inviting, warm and cozy. I always get my lashes done but this time I've gotten even more compliments. A friend told me she was "mesmorized and couldn't stop staring at my lashes". Someone else said "I am soo jealous". Despi felt like an old friend even though I just met her. I definitely recommend her. read more

So many great things about Despi! First of all my lashes last forever, 5 to 6 weeks and they're full and beautiful the whole time. She tells you the best way to take care of them to keep them the longest. Despi describes everything she does and makes you feel so at ease the whole time; with us chit chatting the whole time, time flies by. She's on time and fills up fast so I always make my appointments way in advance. I'll never go back to bare lashes and never go to anyone besides Despi!! A true gem indeed. read more

Despi, the founder of flutterandflirt and is one of the most creative lash extension person I have ever met. She is a true artist and choses her lashes to fit the shape of her clients eyes and face. She is capable of creating very different looks depending on what you want. She is also a very good listener and will adjust the lashes to suit your need. Trust her artistry and creativity and she will find the lash for you. I am very allergic to some cosmetics and she found an allergy free glue that worked perfectly for me. I could not recommend anyone higher than Despi. She is also a lovely, sensitive, kind human being. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy your lashes! I sure do. Andre read more

She has developed her own unique method which definitely takes longer than most other places you may go to, but trust me, girl - the results are SO worth it, going to any other would be a serious mistake. Her private studio is relaxing, clean and I look forward to my monthly sessions with the over-zealous glee of an overgrown puppy!
