I scheduled an appointment through this office months ago because it was the first available…read moreappointment. My appointment is scheduled for Monday and the office has been reaching out to verify my insurance. They were unable to verify the insurance so they asked me to call my insurance. Despite my call directly to my insurance, who confirmed my coverage 100%, the office stated they couldn't verify me so they canceled my appointment. I told them I needed this appointment because it's been booked and I'm about to lose my insurance (I do contract work and the end of my contract is my last for a while because I'm 9 months pregnant). Specifically, Leanne of the office in Flint told me she was canceling and hung up the phone on me when trying to protest cancelling the appointment (people pay cash and could submit to insurance after - there is no justification to cancel an appointment after waiting so long, just because they were unable to verify insurance). When I asked to talk to the manager she said she was the manager and she had every right to cancel my appointment and hung up on me AGAIN. Now I'm basically out of options and I'm just blown away that she had the right to cancel my appointment and treat me with such disrespect with no consequences of her actions.

Now they're saying that because of the way her teeth are shaped they can't close them and they will be taking them off next month. Why did it take 5 years and multiple orthodontists before they told us this?! A few months ago they started trying to charge us an extra $150 a month because she's been in them so long. I've consulted other orthodontists regarding this and have been told by everyone that this office is notorious for their poor service. Going to Great Expressions was the worst decision ever.

Dr. Gray did my braces and head gear so I've got him to thank for my stunning smile. The staff is very nice and professional. The hours are very convienent. They are open from about 6am-8pm. I had my wisdom teeth pulled here also and felt no pain at all. Sometimes I've felt pain before and Dr. Gray will always give you more pain meds if you need it. He doesn't just rush through his work. You get a sense that he really enjoys his profession. I had to deduct a star because unfortunately they do not accept medicaid.
