After having been let down by New Golden Horse, I called Flushing Car service and scheduled a pick up to go to JFK. 5 minutes after the scheduled pick up, I call them again. Excellent Service. From the phone call to LaGuardia airport, all went perfect. I was quoted an excellent price allowing me to tip higher. The driver arrived 5 minutes early and was very nice. If you're in Flushing and need a cab, these are the people you need to call. I have never had a driver I'm not happy with. This is how it goes down: * Dial the service * The person on the other end says "Hello, Flushing." * Tell them where you are. * Person says "Seven minutes" * No more than 4 or 5 minutes later, the car arrives * Tell the driver where your going * At the end, be SHOCKED at how cheap the ride was. I have been using the Flushing Car Service to get to and from LaGuardia for the past 3 years and the service has always been excellent. The car has always been right on time, the drivers always friendly and the cost extremely reasonable! One night after my plane had been delayed several times, I finally arrived at 1am to an airport crowded with tons of other late arrivals. The Taxi line was estimated to take 1 to 1 1/2 hours for a cab, so I called Flushing Car Service, they picked me up in 10 minutes and I was at home 20 minutes later! Well, I was in desperate need of a can to get home after a closing shift and this was the first place I found. To get to flushing queens (like barely into queens) from Mineola was $50! This was the first time I would have been better if getting an über. They made me pay upfront, and the entire time I felt like I may have been driving with a serial killer. I've been using this car service for about 12 years or so, and have never had an issue. I'm not sure if Uber has anything to do with it or not, (by taking the decent drivers)but lately the drivers have been terrible. I don't like to be sexist, but 3 of the last 4 drivers I've gotten have been women. They have attitudes, and talk on their hands free devices for the entire ride. Isn't that illegal? Plus the women drivers have something against air conditioning, so be ready for a sticky, hot, gossip filled ride. Maybe next time I call I'll just ask that they send a male driver :-/ read more

I have lived in Flushing for thirty years and have used Flushing Car Service the whole time. DO NOT CONFUSE THEM WITH Flushing Express, which is a different company altogether. Flushing Car Service is the way to go. Exactly what one other reviewer said is just what you will get. You call, they answer 'Flushing', they might ask you where you you are going, and within no more than 10 minutes you will be inside a nice clean, comfortable car and on your way. I have always gone to them because you can always get a cab within 10-15 minutes after your call. However recently I have been having more and more issues with Flushing Car Service. First, their prices are never steady - the driver makes them up. $10 for a 3 minute ride? Ridiculous. Second, my last two experiences included drivers who were actually texting while driving. I use a cab service to get from A to B safely and reduce my travel time. I do not feel safe nor do I want to pay ridiculous prices that are completely made up on the spot. read more

This was my go to car service, but no more. Sadly, they're app was so awesome....and then- it, and their service, just imploded! They never have enough cars, the prices keep changing and English speaking drivers seem to be a problem. So sad, but I am not using this service anymore after multiple times where they never showed up, even though texts said they would, and non caring management- whom do not return calls to this long time customer. very very very rude drivers. when we ordered a limo to go to laguardia foe s20, then driver did not put our luggage in the truck. at the airport, the driver asked an extra $10 because we were 4 people ! when we told him that we informed his company that we were 4 people and they said it will cost $20 because of the bigger car, the driver cursed at us and said sarcastically "you want me to carry your luggage to the curb also" and told us "at least you can count" in reference to the number of baggage. what a rude driver, never never call this service if you have self-respect!!!!!!! read more

These people suck. Keep u waiting and say they were trying to call you but they were not. Completely unreliable. They used to be worth the money and reliable but seems they must have some kind of management changes and their service is absolutely terrible. I would not recommend to my worst enemy!!
