(cross posted on Google)…read more Did some searching and looking at reviews (positive and negative) and looked on NextDoor as well Yelp and asked a few friends. My new to me home in April 2024 had a leaky zone 2 (8 heads) of 7 zone. Must be a solenoid/valve. Walked around like a tourist with a metal detector, but my Northern irrigation experience is no used to the drunken sailor hidden valve technique of throwing wires and pipes all over the place and valves all around the property??? Crazy?? I figured I would dig up (again) all 8 sprinkler heads I just replaced and hope the valve was close by. As it was on Zone 6 when I hit it by accident hidden below the dirt/sod?? Decided to call in the pros!!! Michael was awesome. They came when they said they would and we were in constant communication on the appointments and times. He of course found the valve and I was glad I did not try it myself as the dumb thing was over a FOOT away from one of the sprinkler heads and literally in the middle of the front yard by the walk?? Fair price for the job and materials and especially the expertise on the replacement with minimal damage to the lawn!!! A Home Run!!! The system was literally leaking thousands of gallons and the previous owner probably never knew it, and was replacing the well pump every year or so!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Winter dry season - BRING IT!!! Call up Michael and Sunrise if you need some nice folks with some great skills!!!!! We even talked turf, and trees and Florida weather.

Because I liked them, I didn't hold them to the standard I would larger more professional companies. My bad. They seemed like hardworking guys, not afraid to get down & dirty. Long story short - my wife loaned the tech $1800 to have his root canal done. He was in pain and down on his luck. We trusted them. Our bad. Our next service call resulted in a jury-rigged fix, exposed wires, and an unexpectedly high bill. Of course, if "we" agreed the amount would be deducted from what was owed to us. Hmmm. I met with Dave to express my concerns. He cited the personal loan as outside his business. Yet, he would've allowed the outstanding balance to be placed against the tech's personal loan. Hmmm. He didn't seem concerned over the exposed wiring. He told me I could've covered it. Professional? Your call. We paid what we were billed and said goodbye in not so pleasant terms. Obviously our business relationship is over. They're hardworking guys and may work out for you. Not so for me.

Wyatt from Dave's Sprinkler Systems repaired our irrigation pump relay this week. He was extremely…read moreprofessional! At my request, he also checked the coverage of our entire system, starting at the Raintree controller, and ended up finding and showing me damaged sprinkler heads. I asked him to replace the defective heads. He educated me along the way about effective coverage, sprinkler run times for the different heads, capabilities and limitations of various sprinkler heads. He even identified and fixed a sprinkler up pipe that was cracked at the pipe "t" a foot below ground. All work was accomplished at a very reasonable cost. I am so pleased we found such a credible company to address our recent and future needs!

Otherwise, this is the most unprofessional landscape company that I have ever encountered. Do not request information from the owner or ask him questions. He overreacts when the customer is just trying to get landscaping problems figured out. Long story short, Blue Heron redid a few of our beds with new trees and ornamentals. I was told specifically not to change the parameters on my irrigation panel. I started noticing all of the bougainvilleas completely dropping every one of their leaves, mold and rotting within the aptenia, blight on several the podocarpus, and a fungal problem in our grass. These were all due to excessive overwatering. In an effort to save our landscaping, I asked the owner to stop by and help figure out the best plan of action. He had his assistant email me back telling me to find a new landscape company. Realistically this was a blessing in disguise because he could care less. Do yourself a favor and find a landscape company that is interested in helping their customers. Especially when it's an issue that they created in the first place.
