My sister and I ordered flowers from a local florist SOUTHERN FLOWERS in Greensboro, NC for my friends birthday. The flowers were delivered and we were unhappy with what was delivered and they delivered the flowers in a cheesy porcelain vase with sprinkles for a 40 year birthday flowers. That is not what I paid for or ordered so I called the florist to inquire why the delivered flowers didn't look like what was advertised on the website. The man who answered the phone got very agitated with me and said he'll pick them up if I didn't like them and If I didn't read the disclosure about substitution of flowers etc. I told him I didn't read it if it wasn't visible on the item I choose to purchase and he repeatedly said he's pick them up so I told him he can pick them up when I recieved a notice for refund and he called me a nigger and my mother a nigger and I cussed him out and hung up. He repeatedly called my number back 3 times to continue to spur racism at me. After he called me a nigger I told him to get the flowers and issue me a refund. My friend who received the flowers said the delivery guy who said he worked for a third party company said he was doing what he was told when they assemble the flowers and he was also told to returned to collect the flowers. He left there house and went back 20 minutes later returning the flowers because he felt bad that it was occurring on her birthday. He claimed he would speak to southern flowers regarding a refund but I received no notification of a refund. I called the third party establishment number and it went to the voicemail for Southern Flowers/florist. This establishment or whomever they have working there is unprofessional and racist!! If you live in the Greensboro Area or know someone that does, do NOT support this RACIST establishment!!!
