I received a garden gazing ball for Mother's Day. By early July the gazing ball somehow lost its beautiful turquoise color. My husband recycled its box and despite this I took the ball back in August. The check out employee was shocked to see the ball and its pale almost see thru color. The apparent "manager" said...."Our return policy is one month. If you bought that last year, there's no way you can return that now." The check out lane gal defended me and reported I got it as a gift in May. It looked a year+ old. The manager then went on to say they knew about the color loss and still sold this product. In fact she bragged about how they put them on discount when the colors started to fade at 75% off! She was pleased with this ability to take advantage of their buyers. So disappointing with no offer of exchange or refund or anything. Not even an apology, much to the dismay of the check out employee...she was embarrassed. I have spent 20 years enjoying my buying experiences at Flowerland. I will find other locations to shop where I am appreciated as a buyer.

I had such a great time with my mom at flowerland. We were helped by a man named Dave. He was very nice and informative. Flowerland has a great selection of Christmas trees alive and fake, for tge holiday season. There were so many on display. I posted some photos that were decorated and some undecorated. Tgey have lights, ornaments, snowglobes and reindeers. The night we were there, they were having some sort of a Christmas party. The aisles were spacious. Items were easy to find, and a warm welcome of coffee when you first come in. One of my favorite things on display besides the trees were the chimes. They were so many, so beautiful with the music they made. They also have an outside area and a back room area with my plants and cacti. I would make an effort to stop in and look!

Flowerland is huge! I love checking there first for houseplants that I'm looking for. Although it's a big store there are always people around to help! Shout out to Brittney who called me about a plant I was looking for earlier today, but couldn't find. I will definitely be back!

High prices, but an impressively expansive selection and friendly staff. If you can't find the what you need at the big box stores, you can probably find it here. I do like the fact that if you have a brown thumb and kill your tree or shrub, they will credit you 50% of your purchase toward your next purchase as long as you bring in your dead plant. Not a terrible deal. I would say that for standard purchases, check your local big store like Lowe's or Meijer where you will find the stuff at 30-50% of the Flowerland cost. For the less commonly found items, Flowerland is a great option.

Love going in at Christmas time and I could spend hours in their houseplant section.

My boyfriend and I have been casually looking on and off for a new coffee table for awhile. I had…read moredriven past Stonesthrow many times but had never stopped in. I always thought it was super high end and expensive for some reason. We decided to just browse one Saturday morning and we ended up having a great experience! There is metered street parking in the front of the store, but there's also a large free parking lot behind the building. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had been in before. When we said no, the friendly employee gave us the lay of the land and told us there are three floors to the store and that it's much bigger than it seems from the outside. Totally true! I always thought this store was small, but it's really huge. We started browsing through all the setups and were immediately impressed by the styling of each area and all the different items. They have all kinds of furniture, decorations, and rugs. Prices were clearly marked which I appreciated since it shows they're not trying to hide anything. I was pleasantly surprised that I found quite a few things that would fit into our budget, along with higher-end, more expensive pieces. They also have a clearance section which we looked through. The pieces I saw mostly swayed more modern and a little less traditional, which is more my style anyway. Upstairs we found a coffee table that was a major upgrade from our current table, but still in our budget and actually quite affordable. It has a metal base and a glass/ceramic top that looks and feels like marble. Super sleek and sophisticated! Christine was upstairs and asked if we needed any help. We asked her about the process for purchasing as we wouldn't be able to fit the table into our car. She told us that we could pay for it and come back with a larger vehicle, or we could pay $60 for local delivery. SOLD! I am all about that convenience and for $60 they can pack and carry the pretty heavy table. We paid for our purchase and Christine was super awesome with the whole process. I am so glad we finally stopped in to Stonesthrow and I can't wait to go back! She did say that they also do special orders if you know something you want and they are able to get it in store. Highly recommend looking here instead of Wayfair etc. for a local option. They also provide interior design services!

I love Stonesthrow and their modern furniture. For me though, what's best is their interior…read moredesigners who are there to help you with all of your design needs for your fill project.

I don't…read morealways love antique markets/warehouses as they can be quite congested and claustrophobic - not Elevated! The aisles are wide, the booths are nicely appointed, and there is lots of great natural light from all the windows. I love that they are arranged by "streets" with numbers for each booth, making it easy to remember where you saw something. There are lots of fun things to check out - I love the reading room that also features art from local artists. They have the ability to rent a shelf vs. a whole booth, which I thought was really cool. Possibly the best part - the free popcorn! I also really like the fun decor like the board game wall. Parking is ample on the street in front or the free lot across the street. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Elevated.

September 6th is their official Grand Opening but they are open to the public NOW. My father and I…read moreheard about this reinvented warehouse thrift/furniture store that opened and had to check it out. With parking directly in front of across the street both free of charge. The entrance was a little tricky to navigate. There was a colorful toy/deco arch far off to the left that we went to only to read a note that said Elevated entrance with and arrow pointing to the right. So we turned around and headed to what looked like an office building entrance but once we opened the door there was a black sign with a white E and an arrow to the right with a open door. At the entrance is an old school telephone booth, with either an elevator (ring the bell for service) or stairs. The stairs were super easy to navigate and we were at the top on no time. The minute we walked through the door there is this cool vibe that permeates throughout the establishment. The way the booths are spaced, decorated, and displayed was very unique giving me lots of space to move about and enjoy the thrift experience. I really enjoyed the use of game boards and how they decorated the walls. I plan on using that idea somewhere in my future. There were many items available from jewelry, dishes, clothing, furniture and list goes on. The air was moving with open windows and fans. Also there are four large dressing rooms available that are spacious and clean. We had the opportunity to speak with one of the proprietors of the establishment Heather. Getting her feedback on the space, wanting to create a unique shopping experience for the community melted my heart. Loved they provided free popcorn and all the time not feeling rushed giving the opportunity to enjoy and possibly find a hidden gem. We walked away with some cooking items and stickers but there was a VERY close call on an antique display cabinet that we are still considering going back for. Great value for all of it. Highly recommend to stop in especially September 6th!
