Very disappointed with the bouquet of cut flowers I purchased recently. They were old, wilted, and a very small number of flowers. The price was $35.00. Even the local grocery store and pharmacies have better, fresher and larger bunches flowers for much less than I paid. I do not recommend this shop at all. read more

Forced to leave one star. Anniversary flowers ordered day before anny. They call on my anniversary to tell me they have a delivery for me...at 345 pm THE DAY OF ANNIVERSARY. My fiancé calls and they advise him they are on the way!! My fiancé and i left at 415 for dinner reservation...still no flowers! We return at 9 pm... you got it NO FLOWERS! I called FLOWERLESS FLOWERLAND and left a message thanking them for ruining our special occasion and to NOT BOTHER bringing day old flowers the day after, (the occasion is past) and to NOT be charging for the flowers and to remove our information from there contact list as THIS WAS OUR LAST PURCHASE from them. note: flowers were delivered THE DAY AFTER MY ANNIVERSARY ( just now) and I'm still trying to find out if my card has been credited. The flowers looked NOTHING like the beautiful picture and weren't even in the same vase. After reading other reviews I see I'm not the only one this has been done to...VERY SAD, especially for those of us who try to shop local and support small businesses. I Called again today after the flowers showed up a day late and can't get an answer. If my card isn't recredited for the full amount by Monday then we'll take the next step. DO NOTTTTTTT TRUST YOUR SPECIAL OCCASION TO THIS BUSINESS. Definitely our last dollar was spent there this year. Shop around, their incompetence ruined a very well preplanned event...And to not have the business sense decency to call this am and even offer an apology???? Everytime I order flower arrangements online and have them delivered, I do not get anything what the picture looked like. At Christmas, the arrangement was to have candy canes in it. It did not. I ordered an arrangement with pink flowers only. I got a mix of pink and red. I wanted the pink ones that were in the picture. I spent extra for them. I will not order online anymore. It's hard for me to get around, but if I get any more flower arrangements, I will go to the shop so that I will leave with what I really want. read more

WOW. A truly unforgettable customer experience with Pam. I've worked more than ten years in customer service myself (and I've seen my share of bad days) but never have I spoken to a customer the way she spoke to me. Her entire tone during the conversation was rude, inconsiderate, and condescending. I was calling from another state to spend just under $100.00 on a sympathy arrangement for a childhood friend and, as I didn't know the area, I said the street name incorrectly. She corrected me and I laughed at myself and said, "Oh, I'm from out of state." And she very snidely replied, "Yeah, I can tell." Pardon me for not having Google Maps downloaded in my prefrontal cortex. I then called another florist shop across the country for another sympathy arrangement and that was such a pleasant experience that I became even more annoyed with Flowerland! So 20 minutes after speaking with Pam, I called Flowerland again. This time a man picked up the phone and I introduced myself, asked if my card had been charged yet (even though it was Saturday and the arrangement wouldn't be delivered until Monday --never mind that the other shop across the country was delivering on the same day even though they closed earlier than Flowerland--). He didn't know and handed the phone to Pam. And yes, Pam HAD run my card. She said, "What? You don't want it now?" Her voice was accusing and blunt. "No, I don't," I said. "I'd like a refund. Considering how much money I'm willing to spend and what a sad occasion this is, you could have been kinder. You were really quite rude." To which she replied: "Okay." And hung up. I'll be taking my money to their competitor first thing Monday morning. Not that Pam cares. Buyer Beware. read more

I ordered a sympathy arrangement from Flowerland for a dear friend who recently passed away. The florist's kind demeanor and patient approach quelled my uncertainty about the kind of arrangement to order, and the price she negotiated was quite reasonable. In addition, she effortlessly accommodated numerous changes to the message card. When I arrived at the funeral home for my friend's visitation, I was comforted and pleased to see a stunning, modern, vibrant colorful arrangement (no stargazer lilies, as requested) in a tall, stylish vase. read more

But Flowerland really came through with my order! The person taking my order was pleasant and helpful and the flowers were delivered as promised and were beautiful. Well imagine my surprise today when my friend called and thanked me for the flowers that were delivered TODAY!!!!!. My husband called the shop because I was so mad and was told that they forgot. There are only a couple of reviews, so here's one more. I've dealt with Flowerland for probably 20 years for many reasons. The service and quality of the flowers is always excellent. At one point I was sending flowers frequently to someone in another town. One of the employees at Flowerland said she chose a flower shop that was farther away from the person receiving the flowers, but the chosen flower shop gave better service and higher quality flowers. How's that for customer service? I don't know. Twenty years and I'm a happy camper. No, I'm not related, but have come to know the owners in the course of doing business. read more

I have been using Flowerland for years and feel guillty that I have never written a review!!! They are ALWAYS "5 star" in their flowers and customer service!!! The flowers are always fresh and beautiful and they often recommend certain arrangements and even "wording" of what I should have on the cards. I ordered white tulips with fresh pine, other greens and a silver ribbon for my boss for Valentine's Day. I chose the arrangement because it was elegant and beautiful. What was delivered was RED TULIPS, NO PINE AND NO GREENS. IT HAD AN UGLY CHEAP LOOKING RED AND WHITE BOW ON IT! I called the shop and spoke to the manager. She was cold and rude. She would only replace the arrangement if my boss would give back the wrong one they sent. How embarrassed would she have been and humiliated as well! it wasn't her fault the designer, and I use the term loosely, screwed up. I worked in a flower shop for several years as an assistant manager. On the rare occasions an arrangement didn't completely meet the buyer's or the recipient's satisfaction I always replaced it and never demanded the wrong one back! I guess Flowerland wanted them back so they could reuse them, How tacky! I will never order from them again! There was no apology only coldness and rudeness. No offer to upgrade, only replace and take back the first one. Crass, Poor poor customer service. read more

Ordered flowers for same day delivery. The flowers were not delivered, the shop at first claimed the order came in on Monday, not Saturday when I placed it. They then stated the order DID come in Saturday but that I selected Monday, May 23rd rather than what I actually selected, which was Saturday, May 21. I have my order confirmation showing my correct delivery date. Yet, the store offered me no recourse other than to cancel my order. I was not even given an apology. worse ever customer service! we called to set a time for them to deliver they never showed up. the person who answered blamed me. told me there truck was in paw paw. could not even tell me if my flowers were in the truck, i asked why i had not been called to say they would be late i was told not her job. i asked for a manger i was told they do not take calls. three days later got flower looks like a 3 year old put it together. i would tell you never do business with these people. i would tell you go on line https://www.ftd.com or somewere else. read more
