I ordered an Anthurium plant at 5:55 AM on Saturday morning to be delivered that day, but I…read morereceived an email at 11:17 AM that it would not be delivered until Monday. I had chosen this Florist because they were supposed to be able to deliver it that Saturday. I received an email on Monday at 11:14 AM that it had been delivered. That was the day that the funeral was scheduled for, and it was delivered on time. But, it looked so incredibly sparse. It reminded me of Charlie Brown's Christmas tree. It had long very visible stems with very few leaves and flowers. Only one flower was bloomed out that day. I was so embarrassed and ashamed. One of my cousins commented that it was "not floral delivery quality - maybe if nestled in a dish garden among several other leafy plants but not as a solo plant," to which I totally agreed. Aunt Margie's granddaughter took a picture of it for me the next day, at which time there were three blooms. The picture in their brochure online showed at least 25 leaves and at least 8 flowers bloomed out. What was delivered only had 7 to 8 leaves and 1 then 3 blooms.
When I first contacted them, they immediately responded with: Customer service is important to us, and we are disappointed to learn that you had anything less than a stellar experience with us.
Please give us a call at (903) 455-4335 if you'd like to discuss this matter further.
They later gave a very detailed explanatory response. After reading their responses, I called them, and they were really quite rude and didn't really care whatsoever.
They may say customer service is important to them, but actions speak louder than words, and their actions as well as their actual words were totally the opposite. Their actual words on the phone made it very clear that they really do not care about customer service whatsoever. I tried to post pictures, so that they could really see how bad that plant looked. They responded that I can always send them pictures on their email, which I proceeded to do.
In that email, I stated that I had just spoken with someone at their company about the order that I made early Saturday morning for delivery that day, but which was not delivered until Monday. But, the main problem was the appearance and quality of the plant that was delivered. I restated that I was very embarrassed and ashamed about that plant. I told them that I believe they should be, too, and would want to make it right in someway, possibly with a partial refund or something. But, I mainly hope that they will try to make sure that they actually fulfill the orders in a better manner in the future.
I understand that the plants are not going to have the same number of leaves or blooms, and in most cases, it really wouldn't make that much difference. But, as you can see from the two pictures, the one I ordered is at least three times better than the one that was delivered. The one that was delivered could have fit in a much smaller pot, too.
I stated that it could have fit in a smaller pot because they made such a point that they were both in 6 inch pots, which is all they really guaranteed.
