It was a touchy situation -- the ski patrol are a hearty bunch, and a flower arrangement for their locker room couldn't be too, for a lack of a better work, girly. At the same time, it needed to be fragrant to stand up to the funk of a ski-boot-dense locker room. The girls did a great job putting together exactly the right tasteful arrangement, and it was successfully delivered to the patrollers as a symbol of appreciation of their hard work. None of those things happened, and yet she nailed my simple wedding flowers for my intimate wedding at the foot of The Grand Tetons. When she dropped off the flowers I was getting pampered by both the makeup artist and my hair stylist, so I could not even really talk face to face with her then. I am sad about that, I really wanted to get to meet her, thank her, and talk about my flowers with her. But she did not need any of that to do a phenomenal job with the small flower order for my wedding. I was thrilled with how everything turned out. Chloe is really good at what she does!

So I stopped by when I was walking around the Movieworks Plaza and was delightfully surprised to find a wonderful place full of great and interesting ideas for beautifying with greenery. I loved the summer daisies they had. The sedum reminded me to always make sure to plant that behind a deer fence because Bambi and friends consider the flowers that bloom in September as a delicacy to enjoy. The colorful selection of bee balm is a great plant for attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden\. Twig's Garden Center advertises itself as a full-service home & garden center and gift shop. Their website says they aim to "inspire creativity for your home and garden." There is lots of garden supplies and Twig's says it has Jackson's "largest supply of annual and perennial plants and shrubs." Equally important to all these flowers are nice employees who seemed very knowledgeable about all things garden-related. For the person who enjoys gardening in Jackson, Wyoming, this is must stop. A fluffy white dog ran out and looked like it wanted to say hi or play with my dog! When my pup got scared the dog started attacking him and caused cuts on his paw and back. Another woman came out to try and grab her dog, and then made the excuse that he was a rescue...... okay? My dog is a rescue too but he doesn't attack other animals. The Latina women who opened the door for me stayed outside to make sure my dog was ok, but I couldn't tell. We cleaned our dog up and I went inside to wash my hands, where the girls at the front were all babying the dog saying "it's okay, it's okay" as if he did nothing wrong. She asked "oh did you get cut?" To which I replied.... "no? My dog ?" She showed me the bathroom and then talked about how her dogs a rescue and it's just basically the breed that "makes it aggressive." It's really sad to hear that, because that's just not true. it's called training and conditioning. Your dog being abused really doesn't change that fact that your dog attacked another and that's not ok! On my way out I was able to walk around and check out the plants which are great, looks like you have lots of varieties and this is probably a great plant store to shop at! I wouldn't know. You should not be bringing an aggressive dog to free roam your place of work. Or you should have a sign that says "NO DOGS" so that no other dog gets hurt. My dog is a rescue who was abused just like this dog, and we were working on building confidence in new places....now he won't even look/get excited at other dogs. Floral Art's space was something in itself I'd want to spend lots and lots of time in. It's whimsical (but not frou frou) feel with quality work and design is inspiring. Add a playlist with Coldplay and John Mayer to the mix and there's no telling what someone could be capable of within those walls... I was able to go through all of the coolers (and back freezer!) to pick out all of my own flowers I wanted to buy in order to make a personal arrangement for a friend. Karen helped me all along the way and even let me use her work space and tools! Beautiful people. Magnificent flowers.
