I don't return to offices where that's the Norm rather than th exception. Its clean. A decent selection of reading material. I generally see Dr Kola as I'm a long established patient. I'm 100% satisfied with the care I receive. As a final note the nurses, MAs, PAs, are out of this world. They can answer almost anything you need to know, and often do yet they still bring it up to the Dr. for the final word. I can highly recommend this office for pain control, and injury assessment, and care.

I'd prefer Dr Cole if possible . The other doctor is fine but the attending nurse although she is probably very experienced lol didn't shut up for a minute.. and it was like diareah of the mouth lol she went on and on about her work experience like a job interview .. and when I'm about to go through a procedure that is not very comfortable I'd prefer calm quiet and the full attention from the doctor and nurse... I couldn't relax with the chatter.. I would suggest perhaps they play some native American flute music or nature sounds during the procedure... and conduct interviews at another time. Please tell them What I said..

Very Disappointing Experience -- Lack of Professionalism and Care…read more There are too many negative things to mention, but I'll start with the front desk. The receptionist is consistently rude, and the music in the lobby is so loud that it's difficult to hear or communicate. It feels very unprofessional, especially with the TV also playing information about procedures and products -- the two competing noises make the environment unpleasant. Every time I've come in, the music seems even louder. When I first saw the doctor, he mentioned that the VA sends too much information to read through, which was concerning. I explained my symptoms, and he told me to come back for injections. A few days later, I returned and was given two injections -- but it turns out they were done in the wrong area, as confirmed by my VA doctor after reviewing the referral and MRI. The VA doctor clarified that the injections I received were not what he had referred me for. When I brought the correct documentation back to Apollo Pain Management, the doctor seemed visibly irritated. During that visit, he performed the requested injections but did not use lidocaine or any numbing agent beforehand. His demeanor made me feel as if I had done something wrong, which added unnecessary stress to an already painful situation. At my follow-up visit, the experience was much the same -- rude front desk staff, loud music, and a doctor who did not review my MRI or referral. When I mentioned that I didn't get the expected relief, he implied it was my fault and refused to perform further injections in the areas requested by my referring doctor. I will not be returning to this location. The environment is unwelcoming, and if the physician cannot take the time to review a referral or MRI, it's hard to trust the quality of care being provided. On a positive note, the PA and the male nurse were both very professional, courteous, and caring. They were the only bright spots in this entire experience.

SCAM ARTIST!!! STAY AWAY!!!!…read more If I could give them a 0 I would. So I made an appt worth him bc I found out 2 days prior to my appt my Dr had an issue with their license. I call around his office had an opening Friday should have been my red flag but anyway. They wanted 408$ for a cash appt. Thank God I brought up my insurance and only paid 250 and thank God I paid with my debit card bc I will be disputing the charges. He tells me that number 1 he doesn't prescribe on the first visit and number 2 no one in his office gets what I have been on for over 3 years. And that his plan is to detox me and prescribe me something not as strong. Basically leave me in excruciating pain for 2 weeks not being able to do anything or care for my children just bc no one else in his practice gets what I'm getting. He treats his patients with uniformity and that is a bad Dr in my eyes. Not everyone's pain in the same and unfortunately for him muy tolerance doesn't go down even after 2 weeks. Trust me I've tried myself. My dad told me I should have squeezed his balls and said would you treat me for the same pain you're feeling right now?!? I paid for him to treat my pain. He didn't. So they either need to refund me willingly or I will dispute it. End of story. 408 dollars to tell people he doesn't prescribe on the first visit. Sure bc they don't ever be back and he just made 400 bucks off of them. Biggest scam ever!!!

Dr. Fernandez is an amazing Doctor. He is friendly and always listens to what I need to tell him…read moreabout what is going on with me. I have been a pain management patient for a few years and had a previous Doctor that I dreaded seeing every month. When I was blessed enough to be switched to Dr. Fernandez I was nervous, but he quickly put me at ease and now having to go to the doctor isn't so bad. The staff are always friendly and polite. There's always a bit of a wait, but it's not too bad and he's definitely worth it!

I'm not a young kid, and I don't take pills to try to get high. I have had major back pain since I broke my hip with a very bad twisted type of break. When one has had a major trauma to their body, other problems can easily begin... such as arthritis, etc. Arthritis has been terrible, along with other pain producing problems. What I think might be sciatica (sorry for the spelling), began a while back, and is the worst pain I've ever experienced. Whether it's sciatica or something else, this pain makes it impossible to stand or walk more than a few steps without HAVING to sit down for a minute or so before being able to once again stand or walk. It continues happening, so often it makes it impossible to go anywhere, or even do much around the house. I got an appt. at this office with only doctor there (whose last name starts with G ), and waited nearly 3 weeks for the appt. They require their patients to fill out 15 or 16 pages of personal information, which I did, being completely honest. They also require their patients to arrive 30 minutes prior to their actual appt. time. Finally, the day of my appointment arrived, and of course there was a long time in the waiting room. After finally being led back into one of their little rooms, and answering again all the questions on their papers, the guy told me the doctor would be in in just a minute. A while more of waiting, and then a girl came in to tell me that Dr. G. didn't think I was a good fit for what he did!!!!!!!!! She couldn't really tell me why, except to say that he liked to use physical therapy, etc. in his practice. Well, why in the heck wasn't I told that when I called for the appt. 3 weeks ago? If so, I could have found another doctor, and not have wasted 3 weeks waiting for absolutely nothing!!!! So here I am, having waited 3 weeks for the appt. with a pain doctor whose job, I thought, was to try to alleviate his patient's pain... But he didn't think 'we were a good match', so now I have to start all over again to find a doctor, get an appt., and wait to see that doctor. I was unable to drive to my appt., so I had to get a friend to leave work to take me across town for this "non-appointment." Not only did I waste my own time,,, but I wasted the time of a good friend who should have been at work rather than sitting in a doctor's office for no reason! My friend heard a gentleman come out from his appt., talking about how unhappy he was with Doctor G. and his appt.... that he would never be back, and that he was going to find another doctor. What's happening with the Hippocratic Oath these days?

If you are reading this, you know how hard it is to find a rheumatologist, let alone a spectacular one. Because everyone in this practice is so wonderful, they are insanely busy. Like everyone else I know who goes here, at some point you will be speaking of your doctor as one of the best doctors you've worked with in any specialty.
