But HBS made it easy. They asked me to take photos of the windows, I did and emailed them and a few hours later the appointment was made and kept. My door has been repaired, and they are compensating me for the inconvenience, which I greatly appreciate. I should also note that my mother purchased hurricane-rated impact French doors for her patio at the same time I ordered my front door from Sunset View. They did an excellent job with that installation. I would likely use Sunset View again in the future.

I spent 14k on 9 panes of glass and one failed and they refused to fix it despite it being their error. They were also deceptive and would not tell me what really happened despite me questioning multiple time how could this happen. Be Aware!!! Something shady going on at Alpha…read more Alpha does not provide written estimates, invoices or a description of services they promise to provide. When Tom arrived on January 18, 2026 to provide a diagnosis and est of cost to make the necessary repairs he was friendly and helpful. He agreed verbally to repair the rollers and track of one sliding door for $400 (including new handles/lock free of chrg) and to seal both doors around the glass for $150. The sealing is not something I asked for. I actually told Tom that I was going to seal the doors myself and he recommended sealing them professionally which will be much for effective. He arrived to repair the doors. He replaced the rollers, but not the track, however did not offer a reduction in cost which I thought was interesting, but I wasn't concerned because the door was sliding much better than before. He then said he will return to seal the 2 doors and install handles/lock. He returned and spent about 30 seconds looking at the old and cracked seal job that had been done previously, then he called his supervisor Shon. After speaking to Shon he reported that his supervisor said that they will need to order material for sealing the door. When he left, my gut told me that he had no intentions on returning to seal or install handles/lock. My gut was correct. After many calls and text messages to both Tom and Shon, I was finally told that they were waiting on the materials ordered from Miami. Several calls and text messages later, I was told they were unable to obtain the gasket for my doors and they would not be returning. I called the office to speak to a mgr. His name is Miz. After 3 days and several more calls I did not receive a call back from Miz. I was given many excuses. The customer service at Alpha is non-existent. There is no accountability and the customer is left to resolve their own issue caused by Alpha. I was told to call another sliding glass door co. and maybe they can help. Apparently, satisfaction is not guaranteed.
