FLORIDA VISION CENTER PALM BEACH GARDENS JUPITER AREA My wife and I used this practice when It was in Boynton Beach. At the time it was worth the 50 minutes to an hour it took to get there. We live in Tequesta a short distance from the PBG vision center now and have decided to never go back. Today I had a 12:30 appointment and I arrived ON TIME. I was scheduled to see Dr Lima for a follow up exam. After waiting TWO HOURS with ZERO COMMUNICATION from anyone in that office, I left and will never go back. Why should a doctor or business make you wait for more than two hours for an appointment they made with a patient. No-one in the office would give me any feedback and I left PISSED OFF and vowed NEVER to go back. They may be good doctors but their business acumen and persona suck. Service was not in their training manual obviously! I would recommend to ANYONE thinking of going to this group to be prepared to be treated in a very poor manner. How they stay in business is beyond me. I've been President or CEO of four different businesses in my 81 years being on Earth. I cannot recommend more strongly, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR EYECARE. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!! They do not care about your medical care, they are doing business just for the money!!!! I used to see Dr Mangal a couple years ago and when i tried to make an appointment the schedule department (call center) refuse to schedule my appointment with him and told me there is a new doctor and schedule the appointment with Dr Bobo. When i got to the appointment she told me I need to see Dr Mangal and I have to reschedule. So, I explained to her that the call center did not want to make the appointment with Dr. Mangal and they booked me with her. So my appointment was reschedule and also the test that was done that day was done incorrectly. The nurse moved the machine in the middle of the test and the result were faulty. I took the day off for no reason because nothing was done!!!! The office just charged the copayment and file a claim for nothing!! I've trying to call the office but nobody answers/return calls. The only number where people answer the phone is at the call center and when I complained to them, they told me I must call directly the local office. It is 5 months that I am trying to resolve this issue and there is not a number for corporate or nothing Please look for another reliable doctor/ company if you have a condition, these people are not there to help, their only interest is the money and nothing else!!! read more

Experience much that same thing as other patients. I waited over 5 minutes on line as the intake clerk stayed on a phone conversation without even looking up. All she had to do was wave hello and break from the call for a second to say that she would be right with but even that tiny and basic customer service skill is absent from these people. I don't understand how they stay in business. My guess is that the majority of their patients are retirees who don't question or complain much. Horrible. read more

Love Dr Goldberg and followed him from the lenscrafter location in Jensen and was excited he moved to Palm city. But the front desk staff and the check in process is a disaster there. They say hello when you walk into the always-crowded waiting room then send you to a kiosk. There it asks for everything you've already been required to give when you made appointment. You have to key in name, address, phone, healthcare provider, social security, ethnicity etc etc etc then scan in the drivers license and insurance card. Imagine an 80+ year old woman trying to do this. This happened to me as I was merely trying to check in for my 12:50 appt. Standing there 10 minutes to get to kiosk, I see a QR code on wall that says I can check in that way. Do I am doing that and it sticks when I'm 3/4 done. I return to desk and they say it's stuck because it shows I'm at the kiosk. I'm like- that little lady is there, where she's been for 10 minutes and I believe she needs help. Please check me in. By now it was 12:50. They tell me I have to go to kiosk as connection lost bc it was my fault for trying to g to check in with their QR code. I'm like, seriously, I'm not a new patient, you have my info. Just put down I'm here. They said I had to use the beloved lips and start over. I go back as now woman has finished and it shows my appointment time is now 30 minutes later. I then still had to go to front again and asked why my appointment time changed. They said it was because I had difficulty checking in!!! Unreal. So now I'm sitting here and it's 2:07 and I still haven't seen Dr. Goldberg. . The sad thing is, I love him, but the front desk staff truly don't care about the patients. I'm sitting here listening to them talk about protein shakes and meal choices while people struggle to sign in. I'm looking at no less than 12 people currently in waiting room. And that's not all. The billing is always screwed up here too. You'll pay upfront bc you have to, then you'll get a bill a week later for same amount. When I asked about this today bc my daughter had been here before the holidays, I showed them her bill and was told, "call this number.They're in a separate office. We don't control that. You paid but it just takes time to catch up. I don't handle that. Call the number." Again, no one wants to do their job. Yet I have a job I need to be doing but I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and still sitting here 1 1/2 hrs and haven't seen eye dr yet! I had cataract surgery in August 2024. Ever since the surgery, I've experienced chronic irritation in my right eye, which is frequently so bad that it causes my right eye to close. I have had several follow up appointments to address the irritation. Each resulting in a different diagnosis with different treatment, but no improvement in my eye. Today (May 19th), I had an appointment with Dr. Allen, the surgeon who performed the cataract surgery. I waited over two and a half hours, as he was obviously overbooked. I finally had enough and left. I really regret having had the cataract surgery and would not recommend Florida Eye Institute to anyone. read more

Dr. Quentin Allen did my cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I was not an easy case, with extremely dry eyes. I could not see distance in my left eye, and could not read close up or intermediate in my right eye. He was so thorough and so deliberate on my care that he held off surgery until we could correct my dryness. Today both of my eyes have been corrected and I have 20/20 vision in my right eye and 20/40 in my left eye and can also read intermediate and close up in my left eye. The surgery was a breeze and the care was phenomenal! I am so so grateful to Dr. Allen and his team! Florida Vision is the best and I would recommend the entire office to anybody! Although the office is like most other top notch vision practices such as long waits etc. once you get into see the Dr. you are not rushed. He pays close attention to your questions and concerns. It's a happy place where it's run like a well oiled machine with all happy wonderful workers. I had great techs first check me out. I might of had a longer wait but I understood because 3 Doctors were on duty that day plus I need a few tests since it was my first time. Then I met my Doctor. I will call her Doctor Gianna all to techs I saw were friendly TOTALLY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. That was different. Then when I saw Doctor Gianna, what a breath of fresh air. You know she not only loves what she does she was exremely thorough. She explained things I didn't know about which were important and what to do to help me. Plus made an appointment for me to seee the surgeon for Maccula to see how far it is. They even did an eye exam. But the Doctor said we will wait to get your eyes straightened out with their problems before glasses so we get the proper reading. She made me feel comfortable She was awesome. I can't say enough great things about the high level of care I've received at Florida Vision Institute -- at all of their locations!! I started going to Florida Vision Institute around two years ago when I was referred to Dr. Bobo by my optometrist after I woke up one morning with blood on my eyeball. Dr. Bobo was so exceptionally kind and good to me -- and saw me for a week or so every day at whichever office she was at each day until my issue was resolved. Now, a couple years later, Dr. Bobo referred me to Dr. Quentin for my cataract surgery. As part of Florida Vision Institute too, Dr. Allen has given me excellent care, addressed all of my many questions, and helped me see more clearly than I ever recall -- in my right eye. I'm only 57 so I ended up going with the ultimate solution of the new Panoptix Trifocals Lens -- that also addresses my astigmatism. It's all so amazing!! After less than 24 hours, it was like I was wearing progressives -- but in my new lens directly attached to my eye now. (I'm thinking it's like LASIK treatment would be to those who can still have it -- but my eyes were beyond that point). Anyways, it's simply AMAZING to have my eyesight given back to me in my right eye. JUST AMAZING after years of issues. My appointment was at 10:20 at 11:05 I am still sitting in a VERY crowded waiting room observing at least 5 people who were there before me who have yet to see the doctor and one patient had already left angry It is not possible to social distance in their waiting room, and you are packed in. Even with a mask it is extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. If you make an appointment, plan on an hour or more before they actually see you I left Waste of time read more

I first saw Dr Marc Brockman towards the end of 2018, because I had very bad eye pain in my left eye. He gave me an eye eXam and recommended I see an ENT to see if I had a problem with my sinuses. Since then I've had two CT scans of my sinuses, both negative. Went back to Dr Brockman December 2019 for my yearly checkup and complained again about eye pain. He diagnosed it as dry eyes and told me to use over the counter dry eye drops. I had already been doing that and continued to do it. Recently I asked my pharmacist if her customers complain about eye pain and what they use. I also told her that my eye doctor said I had dry eyes. She suggested Restasis. I called dr Brockman's office three times over the past 2 weeks, they said one of the nurses would call me, she said she updated my file. No one has called me back, last call I made was on 2/4/2020. I am so mad right now that I have been dealing with this pain, affecting my job every day. and he has never even mentioned a prescription drug, and now they are not returning my call. My 87 year old mother-in-law wanted an eye exam to get a prescription for new reading glasses. Dr. Marc Brockman decided to perform unnecessary tests that are not covered by her medicare. When I spoke with him, he was very rude and actually was yelling at me. To make a long story short, they have sent her bill of $233 to a collection agency. My mother-in law has no money. She is on medicare and lives in a nursing facility. She is now 88, this has been going on for a year. I really thought someone in the corporate office would have looked into this. Dr Brockman should admit he was wrong, if he had asked about the testing ahead of time, she would have declined. She was very upset when she got home. She said they didn't listen to her and pushed her from test to test. I find her treatment disturbing and abusive. I did finally find a corporate number, but unfortunately could never get a hold of anyone. Once I was disconnected trying to leave a message, and other times it just said mailbox full. No ones mother should be treated this way, Dr Brockman and Florida Vision Institute please show some compassion to the elderly, How would you like your mother treated this way? read more

Horrible, unprofessional job replacing lenses in my eyeglasses and sunglasses which were under warranty. Brian dropped the ball several times. I had to keep calling to get updates. Even then after more than a month I called again to get an update and they said they had no record of me. They said they would resolve this and expedite my order but they dropped the ball again. Two weeks later I finally got my lenses. But after 1 week with the new lenses they fall out of the frames and I can see where there are pressure points in areas on the lens which causes the film on the lenses to be wavy. Brian admitted what a horrible junk show this all was but would not take personal responsibility even though he was the one I was working with. Never get your glasses there. read more

Stay away if you have cataracts. Staff and doctors will steer you towards refractive, high astigmatism and Presbyopia Correction "packages". These packages run from $1650 to $3400 per eye. After initial consultation, I went to another provider who indicated my astigmatism was in the lens being replaced during cataract surgery and that there was no need for a Toric lens. If there had been an need the other provider would only charge $801 vs $2250. There is a reason Florida Vision offices look like a Caesar Palace boutique. read more
