Went to a number of orthopedists and physical therapists. Most recommended surgery - only 2 suggested that it was a small tear and it was better left alone. Dr Lugo was one of them. Not only was it the right call, but I appreciate him putting my daughter ahead of his own financial gain. To show my gratitude, I've recommend Dr Lugo on multiple occasions.

They ask for your insurance information and driver's license. The secretary squints at your insurance card, makes a face, like she's never seen one before. I would have laughed if I wasn't in pain. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking almost 30 minutes past your appointment time. I asked a few people there when is their appointment time was scheduled. They all said the same as mine. So six of us were scheduled for 1:30pm. That did it for me. I asked for my paperwork back and left. This place is ridiculous! If you value your time, find another doctor that cares about you and your well being.

I went in the…read moreother day because my regular orthopedic Dr. could not see me until August 8 and I have a fracture in my back T11 , I saw Dr. Chris Katahowski and they took an Xray and I also brought my X-ray in from the hospital and his reaction was your back is worse and rest for 3 weeks and if it doesn't heal you will need surgery. i know I have been to a nose Dr, my MD. and an orthopedic and hospital and was prescribed pain medication cause my fracture, I have a broken nose and shoulder...why because I was walking my dog and looking at my phone and my dog saw a rabbit and I went right down on my face . He could have given me something ..not a narcotic...I am 71 and believe I did not enjoy taking this medication. He looked at me while I was crying and said go to pain management and walked out . My daughter lives in Spain and she got a ticket right away to come to the states to help me . I would appreciate if someone would get back to me . I will be contacting the medical board about this ....maybe you have people coming in for drugs , but that is not me .
