I recently had a problem with my recliner. I went to the sales lady who had worked with us when we purchased the recliner along with a sofa and loveseat. Her name is Candi, and she went above and beyond to resolve my issue. When the warranty service was unable to fix the chair, she intervened and, ultimately, got the problem resolved by arranging for a private repair company to send a representative to handle the repair. Her patience and determination in helping to resolve the situation, are to be commended. She certainly goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. read more

August 2018-February 2019 I wish I had read all reviews before ordering. The worse experience ever - I ordered a lovely living room set and 2 chairs- cost over 6000.00 The leather rocker- broken tilted to the side and the delivery men refused to take it back. I call salesman Bob from Sarasota store -referred to customer service- sent Howard to assessed the chair and said- broken needs to be a replacement..waiting... In November, customer care has not processed the return as they needed additional photos-- NO ONE called or asked me for photos--Bob told the chair was on order numerous times-Best case another 8 weeks!! 5 months for a chair--inconsistent information-unprofessional responses- January 28th 2019 our chair was to be delivered today-at 8am Customer service called the new chair was delivered broken- We are done.. We've had a wonderful experience with Florida Leather Gallery. Our furniture delivery did not happen with the original date we were given, through no fault of the gallery. Candy and Bruce arranged for us to receive loaner furniture , brand new from their showroom , which we've been using for a couple of weeks now. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of and have been diligent in advising us of the new delivery date. The loaner furniture is beautiful and I know my new furniture , which is being delivered Friday, will be also !! Highly recommend!! read more

It was very refreshing to walk into a furniture store that smelled good as well as a nice non-pushy greeting....Nick said hello to us and when we said we were just looking around he backed off immediately which was a positive off the bat....After my wife and I looked around a little Nick politely asked us if we had any questions which we did. After about a half hour we selected a Natuzzi sofa sleeper that was on an outstanding special and was in stock. I'm not one to do many reviews but this guy is a real "neighborhood" type guy, I believe he is from Chicago, he "got us" because we are from New Jersey Lol. .....The delivery guys were awesome! read more

Before you purchase, do your research on EVERYTHING. CHECK WARRANTY... Also, don't go by what other people tell you. RESEARCH yourself ! First to say, the people at the store are very polite and I have no complaints about them. They do need to know what they are selling though..... We did not want to purchase leather from China so we picked Palliser, from Canada. Waited 8 weeks or so to have them made and directly shipped to us. We were told there was no problem having a leather sofa with insets of vinyl where the "body does not touch" Thinking back at all the cars we have had, NEVER had an issue with insets of vinyl. Well... check out this cracking and peeling. Our sofa started falling apart ( of course) 2 years. 1 year out of warranty. Continues to deteriorate. Went back to Florida Gallery and they said to contact Palliser, but did not think they would do anything. We paid $3926.61 for two sofas. Did I tell you, we have no kids and only 2 of us. And over 60? Not like we are beating up this furniture. Story ends with us now purchasing new sofa's, waiting for them to be made from North Carolina, and not leather and vinyl. read more

Outstanding customer service, furniture, no pressure and the staff makes you feel like home and huge selection. From the first moment we walked through the doors we were politely greeted by Calvin & Barb who were so welcoming. I explained what we were looking for and Barb took us straight away to try out a few models which were all very nice. We settled on the Elran brand with the kicker, we preferred cloth vs. leather. Without judgement and constantly aiming to please all our wants and needs working with our budget in mind also, they had no problem making that happen. I also wanted a removable armrest with cup holders and Barb with her vast experience in the furniture industry also made that happen. This process was all done in a timely manner without feeling rushed or pressured in anyway. I highly recommend Calvin and Barb at the Leather Gallery and this store has become our families go to furniture store now, as my parents who live in The Villages, bought several items at that location also. ** Update: During the pandemic And Elran being shut down, Barb & Calvin have yet again have gone above and beyond keeping us utd on the progress of our sofa. We ordered (2) Stressless Chairs on special order from Norway. Had to wait approx. (3) months (within the stated time frame), but they were deiivered with some scratches on the wooden base rims. The owner took care of the problem and made sure the scratches were removed. We were impressed with the owner's concern and appropriate response. read more

Sometimes things happen which are beyond a company's control. When our leather recliner arrived broken it happens. What transpired after was nothing short of brutal. A series of delays, miscommunication and out right lies by sales personnel. This unprofessional behavior resulted in a 7 month delay until the replacement arrived, also broken. In August I visited the gallery in Sarasota and ordered a $5000, 3 piece unit. On October 23, a 3 piece unit was brought to my home with 2 of the three pieces defective. One piece had the wrong wires and the other would not open or close properly. Not only that, but I was misinformed that the unit would attach to each other and NOT be individual units once delivered. That is NOT THE CASE. The delivery men took photos of the damaged units. I asked if they could return the items, but they said they could not once the furniture was unpackaged and delivered. I then called the store and spoke with Bob about a return, he said I could not return the items and I would need to speak with the manager. I later spoke with her and she refused the same. I was told I must have a technicion come out to repair the items. After 2 days of talking with the manager, and being told that there is NO ONE else I can talk to, they have a technician call me. His first available appointment is November 5. THAT IS 2 WEEKS AFTER DELIVERY. They must have SO much defective furniture, repairs on NEWLY DELIVERED furniture is 2 weeks out. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! In my opinion, I should not need new "HIGH QUALITY" furniture repaired. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT SALES AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. AT THIS TIME THEY ARE STILL REFUSING A RETURN AND I HAVE DEFECTIVE FURNITURE TO ENJOY. read more

Bought leather couch and recliner. Salesman did not let us know small print said 17 weeks til delivery. When furniture arrived chair a piece of junk. Repairman sent out, he has "ordered" parts to repair chair. That was three weeks ago and have not heard from him. Chair seat cushion not a rectangle. Chair feels like it will fall apart when you recline. People who answer concerns over phone not at all helpful. Go to any other store than this one. You can buy leather furniture for less, in a more timely manner and with much better customer service. We have bought a houseful of furniture and have been very happy with other stores in Sarasota. read more

We bought a sofa there and were promised we would get it in 10-12 weeks. 14 weeks later we are still waiting for it to arrive. When it does come they told us we would not receive the entire piece--that part of the sofa missed the boat and would not be arriving until another 6 weeks. The salesperson was deceptive and condescending when questioned. I will never shop here again and would not recommend them to others. read more
