There are only 3 IV pumps that must be spread out through both floors. Attending open lab is a joke since there isn't enough equipment available. Many things broken or used way past their prime. WHERE is our money going? To add insult to injury, the "student events" we receive are a total joke. For Example, Los Angeles campus received a holiday party that was catered with a Crepe station with many toppings and food to choose from. Our school, where we pay the SAME amount, received cookies to "decorate" but NOT eat because the expiration date on the cookie box was 2020!!!! Are you joking? We pay 100k+ and you can't afford some non expired cookies? Our food option was one box of Walmart cookies that were old and stale. Upon calling in to the clinic before practicum and speaking to Gus, to notify them of running late, they penalized me for arriving 20 minutes behind schedule, with no patients there to be be seen by me, at the clinic. They dis-enrolled me from all classes shortly thereafter. They do not adhere to their own University Student Code of Conduct University when they are to be applied to students. One professor held course assignment/paper for weeks on end, without grading it until the end of the course, preventing me from being able to withdraw/dis-enroll or change status of class. A few minor violations such as being late by a few minutes to momentarily taking an empty thumbdrive to the parking lot before remembering to return it to the clinic, was penalized as major violations during the University's Hearing Proceeding. I was accepted into the Ph.D Clinical Psychology Program in 2015, was promised the the program would begin the next year only to find out it had not been instituted, and then offered acceptance into the PsyD Doctoral program to be told the Doctoral program would ready and I could switch the following year.

It's with great pleasure that I give everyone at Miami Media School a well deserved Google FIVE STARS Review! I was so impressed on the very first day I walked into the school just to check it out. Every teacher, faculty staff and student were so friendly, informative and I got the feeling of a warm welcome from everyone there. It was definitely a challenge for me because I was going through some serious physical issues. I'm a disabled veteran (8 years active service in the Marines; a Sergeant) and I'm dependent on using crutches and public transportation to get around. Traveling from my home in Sunrise to the school in Doral wasn't easy. Although the traveling wasn't easy I totally loved being at the school and being with everyone at the school so much. Honestly it felt like I was home away from home. Also during this time I was fighting cancer. Lymphoma. I was so fortunate that my last semester classes were on-line and I attended classes from my hospital room during my chemotherapy treatments. After weeks of back-and-forth by email--during which I was also managing a serious personal health matter--I repeatedly asked, in writing, for my leave to be recorded as a W. Instead, the institution recorded a Drop on my transcript, a designation I never agreed to and was never given a real opportunity to contest. That decision is now actively obstructing my ability to transfer my credits and continue my education elsewhere. Academic support has been inconsistent at best. Course delivery relies heavily on external paid platforms, repetitive assessments, and minimal instructional engagement. Requests for guidance--particularly regarding CLEP eligibility and degree planning--were repeatedly deflected, delaying my progress and undermining my timeline to advance into a PhD program. I am formally requesting, in writing, that the Drop be corrected to a W, the withdrawal fee be waived, all related collections activity cease immediately, and my full academic record be released so I can continue my education without further obstruction. If this is not corrected, I will pursue legal action against this institution, regardless of cost. Students deserve transparency, respect, and competent academic guidance. In my experience, this institution treats revenue collection as a higher priority than student outcomes, and prospective students should weigh that heavily before enrolling.

I was able to get my required documentation squared away fast quick and in a hurry. I value my time and I'm glad they valued it as well. Note: you'll need a parking decal if you're going to park there so don't rest on your laurels when it comes to that.
