I called seeking clarification for some things the PA had told me. On my last phone call with Savanna I brought this up her tone changed, the rest of my questions were summarily dismissed, and I was told I should see the PA again. I agreed and she set an appointment, for June 3 at 3:00. When I arrived at 2:55, I was told my appointment was at 1:00 and when the office worker heard me she walked over to the window and denied telling me it was at 3:00. The doctors, PA's and the rest of the staff are all great, but the frustration this one person caused me over a two week period was enough for me, I'm done with this practice. Meanwhile, I received a a certified letter asking if i had the procedure done. I mention this in case Dr. Spicer would like to know the name of the person he can contact me. I don't feel listing her name here is the professional thing to do.

I did extensive research on who was the very best in Central Florida because let's face it (pun intended), it's an important body part. Dr. Saluja kept coming up so I booked a simple 25unit Botox appointment. The results were spectacular! Just the right amount of lift without looking fake. Feeling confident, I then booked an appointment for Juvederm and Botox to fill in my lower face. Her work was superb! I didn't think it possible, but I was happier with her work more than my former girl and I LOVED her. Unless I die or Dr. Saluja stops practicing, I'll never go to another doctor for my cosmetic facial injections. I'm so pleased I found her! She saw me right away, and not only was my lip was pre-cancerous but I had a big spot on my shoulder. She excised them and sent them out for testing. My lip she got on my first visit. It came back clean. My shoulder needed minor surgery, it to came back clean. If you have an idea you may have something troublesome, do not hesitate to see her. She IS THE BEST! A lovely young lady who listens to you and gives you straight answers. I highly recommend Allison to anyone, bar none.

I recently had a MOHS procedure done at Brevard Skin and Cancer Center by Dr. Minor. After the…read moreprocedure was done, what started out to be the size of a pea ended up being about the size of a quarter or larger and required 15 stitches. After the procedure was done, I was given an handout, and number six bullet point on the handout said, For minor pain and discomfort, please take extra strength Tylenol. Well, the next day at 71, I required a little more strength than extra strength Tylenol. I needed something stronger, so I called and spoke to his PA, at which time she informed me that quote-unquote Dr. Minor doesn't prescribe opioids to his patients. When I insisted a second and third time, I said, Please have the doctor call me. After three weeks, he sent me a letter stating that the physicians of this office no longer want to provide any further care to your dermatological needs. After being seen there for 13 years by another doctor, they basically have banned me from the practice. I find this rude, insensitive, and unprofessional. I wouldn't let these doctors work on your animals. Having said that, stay away for your own safety.

I had been scheduled for a procedure but when I arrived at the appointment I was informed about some limitations needed to ensure that results were good. At the time, I could not stick to those limitations and decided to reschedule the appointment. The office staff was unable to reschedule at the time and I was told I would receive a call to make the new appointment. After not receiving that call in a week, I called the appointment phone number and left a message (their message said someone would call back within one hour). Another week went by and I called two times in a day - same lack of result. The last time I told them that this would be the last phone call I made to them. I have still not received a call back. I am now in the process of looking for a new Dermatologist. While I had been very pleased with the medical professionals in this practice, I believe the patient (customer) service is severely lacking - in fact, this last time it has been completely absent.

After being unsuccessfully treated for 2 1/2 months I asked for a referral to Mayo Clinic. They ignored our repeated requests for three weeks and then were told to do it ourselves. We proceeded to get treatment in Orlando at a wound clinic. They repeatedly asked Halcin's office for results from a culture they had taken. They made the request 3 weeks in a row and were told by Dr. Halcin's office that they would send it but never did. So another culture had to be taken and paid for. All in all due to the incompetence of this office and in turn Dr. Halcin's neglect of her responsibility to see and treat, it costs us $8,000 out of pocket over and beyond what the insurance paid.
