I call up the number and get transferred to a police officer who then tells me it's not against the law to make sexual gestures towards anyone, and I even recorded this conversation and then was told he's not making a report. He even helped me with my car on new year's eve at 2am (i guess technically new year's day). He saw me and offered to help. Had a casual conversation about our nights and how he was getting a lot of calls for gunshots (they were just fireworks it was new year's eve). He didn't ask me any questions, like where I'd been or where I was coming from. He didn't try to figure out if I was intoxicated or if I was doing something wrong. ( I dont drink and was completely sober). He didn't even mention my tint is too dark or anything of the sorts. He simply wanted to give me a hand to help. Officer Andrews you are the only reason i'm even giving this review a single star. The community needs more people like him and less revenue chasing, harassing, fishing jerks. Even though most of the instances in which i've been pulled over by mpd were for stupid reasons, especially the tail light one considering my tailights weren't out, almost every officer was nice, or at least pretending to be. They still will shine their flashlights all over the inside of your car and fish for whatever they can, but most of them are decently nice. Not all cops are bad but as I said before this department has a problem with harassment and is way overfunded and revenue incentivized.
