However, his business did not provide any notice or provide any other options for care. Basically on the 6 month check up my husband was told "sorry your Doctor is no longer here" Asking about other care there, all docs are booked. Not a proper way to handle Doctor Pollock's patients and also not providing any communication after he left is bad business. Do BETTER Central Florida Cardiology!

The office confirmed receipt of records and scheduled our appointment at the end of September. Fast forward. Office confirmed our insurance because the receptionist copied my husbands license snd insurance. When we come to the appointment, they can't find his paperwork. My husband has a multitude of health conditions and medications so this paperwork takes substantial time to complete accurately. It's gone. They can't find anywhere. Has his PII and medical history and mine as guarantor of insurance. It's in the ether. They pulled us out of the lobby quickly for the appointment (likely because my husband was upset). We waited another hour to see the doctor. In the interim, the manager did come and apologize to us but not until we overheard the staff explain we were "pissed". They were right. As for the doctor. Meh. Nothing earth shattering. Somewhat condescending.

I visited this office twice during the summer of 2020 when COVID numbers were very high. Neither time was the office enforcing social distancing in the waiting room and the second time, temperature checks weren't being done on any of the patients. I couldn't believe it. Also, they had magazines and other handouts laying around, where most other doctors offices have removed these items from waiting areas. The second time I was there I had an ultrasound of my heart done and while the technician and I were speaking she mentioned that she just got back from a trip to Colorado. So I asked her if she had been tested for COVID since she got back (especially since she's in such close contact with patients who have severe heart problems), but all she said was no, that she hadn't been tested and she wasn't worried about it. Wow! I'm sorry, but that's just plain irresponsible! And then someone else in the office told me you can't get COVID from touching items - ummm, that's not the way I understand it to be. So, because of those reasons, I'll be looking for a new cardiologist- unless this office starts taking COVID more seriously.
