Went on the Tuscany by Vespa tour in June 2023 with two friends. Don't forget to take your driver's license or you will not be able to ride on your own Vespa! Nice clean and comfortable bus took us to/from the starting point.
Our guide/teacher Haider was fantastic! He was very patient and explained every detail to keep us safe. Had to take a short "test" to make sure we were able to ride the Vespa. It was outside of my comfort zone as I had never ridden a Vespa before -but I succeeded! The ride was a long ride, about 45 minutes at least each way which was amazing to take beautiful Tuscany in as we rode.
The wine tasting part was a bit unorganized. We got to see how cold pressed olive oil is made and learned a lot about which type of olive oil to use. We asked for a taste of wine once the olive oil explanation was over and the staff at the winery acted very strange about that, so we went to the bar and purchased our own glass of wine. Bad move on their part because we all would have purchased wine and olive oil and joined their winery had they been friendlier/nicer!
Five stars for Haider and the Vespa part - 3 stars for the winery, lunch and staff. read more
