That's fine, I'll find another doctor, but I hope this reaches someone who cares about how the front office treats potential new patients. The front desk represents the entire practice, and this experience left a very poor impression. I will NOT be going to see any doctor in this group unfortunately and not all. We're bad but I can never guarantee I wouldn't have to deal with Tammy or Cindy so just to keep the peace I'll go somewhere else.

So she decides to go on vacation (which is fine obviously) and what everyone who needs glasses or contacts now has to wait a whole nother week? Why would they not have a back up optometrist? I wasn't able to go shopping or drive or even work because of it (my old pair broke hence why I ordered new ones) and why is only the optometrist allowed to give them to me, she asked my name asked if they fit and sent me on my way are you telling me no one else could have done the same thing took 30 seconds. Ended up developing anxiety and now if I dont wear my glasses for an hour I start to get stressed and anxious. Honestly

I trusted Dr. Kassels for two years until I realized he…read moreassumed I had a punctal plug which is something he could have seen if he took time to do a thorough exam. During every appointment, Dr. Kassels attitude and bedside manner was such that it made me feel I was wasting his time. Additionally, either the prescription was wrong for my glasses or his optician did not submit the order correctly. The progressive lens is not aligned correctly. To be able to read with the glasses I have to push them up. Adjusting the frames does not help. No one at Dr. Kassels office has done anything to correct the problem. If I was the only person having experienced the same treatment, I wouldn't write a review; however, several people are having problems with their glasses prescriptions and are receiving poor service. If I could choose zero stars, I would.

The eye exam itself, in March of 2026, was fine, I have no complaints. The staff gave me two trial…read morelenses in my new prescription strength. The day I put them in my eyes, I looked at the first thing that I could see, which was the boxes they came in. I was shocked that one box had expired in 2024 and the other in 2025. I immediately took them out and threw them away. A quick Google search showed that use of expired contact lenses is unsafe and can lead to serious complications such as infection, ulcers, blurred vision, etc. They gave me a product that was unusafe and potentially harmful. Strike one. I informed them, they apologized, they said they would order me another pair. The second set of trial lenses they gave me turned out to be ... expired! The assistant told me that set had come straight from Alcon, so it was not their fault. I disagree. Muscle Shoals Eye Center texted me that this second pair of trial lenses was in, yet they had failed to note that this set was beyond expiration, as well. Strike two. The assistant told me she would notify the Alcon rep and call me back. Never heard from her again. Strike three. Do not trust your eyes to this business.

When a different employee finished with a customer, she told me to sit. I did. A different group of three employees were then behind the counter. I finally left. They were busy but had more employees than customers.
