The car park is at the rear, turning left off South Road before it. If you park elsewhere nearby, having missed the turn, the entrance and reception is right around the back near that car park. Once inside, things are all efficient and friendly. I had an appointment but showed up early, and they processed and fit me in, did the procedure all before the time my appointment was actually scheduled for. I'd also taken probably longer than others, as I hadn't had breakfast and almost fainted. I am not sure whether it truly was or not, but the room to me seemed a bit airless and warm. It wasn't boiling, but I assume they make it that temperature because people are in the room largely in the altogether whilst being examined. To remedy my almost-faint they let me lie down for a bit, said I didn't have to have a big injection that day if I didn't want to, and gave me some cookies. After the lie down and the cookies I perked up enough to have the big injection which did not hurt anywhere near as much as they said it would (or perhaps I thought it would). Both the person who gave me an ultrasound and the doctor who gave me an injection were absolutely professional and at all times I felt safe and secure.

I'm so glad I have private health now and can go to awesome hospitals like these! (when I really…read moreneed to). All the joyous memories of sitting in waiting rooms for the whole night, being treated by amatuer doctors and palmed off to other people/areas and just the whole public health system in general. Now my partner and I can experience the almost high life with private hospitals and good treatment. He came here with a severe knee knock from a collision with a goal post, and he unexpectedly got seen straight away before he had barely sat down, treated by an experienced knowledgeable understandable doctor and fixed up properly and sent on his merry way. Too easy huh? Why can't all hospital experiences be like this? Oh wait I pay a fortune for it, that's why.

Awesome new gym (or anti gym)!…read more The HIIT Centre is like a new home away from home. The trainers are friendly and motivating and everyone that goes is super friendly and encouraging. The training is unlike anything you've seen (or experienced) before. Sleds and battle ropes combined with traditional sprints and burpees. Everyone of all skill and fitness levels can do it and the trainers are always there to help you out. Best of all, this type of training puts your body into fat burning mode like no other! What a wonderful place…read more This review is for all the people who are afraid of going to a public dentist, especially to a learner dentist at a public dental school. I didn't have the money to get my wisdom teeth out, and had to go the public health services route. I am so glad I did! I hopped in the chair and was attended to a student who was not only hot (which was admittedly weird; nobody wants a hot stranger rummaging around in their mouth before at least one good boozy date) but also the most friendly, positive and focused of any dentists I've been to. He was incredibly gentle too and I felt no pain after the first anaesthetic jabs. They suck but they are about the same amount of pain as having blood taken from your arm. A lot of my friends have chosen to have the full anaesthetic while having their teeth extracted. Maybe if you need all four removed at the same time, you might choose that. (I only needed two removed). But I really want to tell you that even for someone like me, who gets shaky at the mere thought of dentists, it is much less painful than you'd imagine. So if you are waiting, quaking in your boots, for some pimply-faced dental student to do a little shop of horrors number on your face, take a deep breath and relax. These guys are being taught so well, both in 'customer service' (otherwise known as being a nice human being) and in dentistry. They'll leave you smiling!

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed recently (two days ago, so if I'm thinking well of him at this point then he must have done something right) and could not have asked for a better doctor. Not only did he do a wonderful job removing my wisdom, he left hardly any remnants that he did so - I only have minor swelling and pretty much no pain! He has a wonderful bed side manner and is very approachable to ask questions of. All in all it was, I believe, the best possible experience I could have had in having my wisdom teeth removed.

I arrived early for my appointment, was seen early and was back in the car heading before my actual booking time. The offices are clean and quite new, you could still smell the paint, there is a kids area in the waiting room, several doctors offices and a large waiting room. The staff are friendly and quick at getting you in if you're new, all I needed was my Medicare card and to confirm my address and phone number. Bulk billing makes this even better, once finished with the doctor I was ready to leave, nothing else had to be done.

John White, the owner, is very down to earth and funny. It is situated as part of the block of shops on the corner of Melbourne St, facing Jerningham St. You can't miss the big green sign reading "White's Melbourne St Chemplus". My favourite part about this pharmacy is the prices! My gosh, they sell boxes of Kleenex Aloe Vera 3 ply tissues for $2! You would think it would be expensive, being a pharmacy and all, but that's cheaper than buying it at the supermarket. It's not just tissues; it's umbrellas, lip balm, lollies, anything you might find in a chemist - they sell most of it at very reasonable prices. Plus, I can't forget to mention that there's a Cibo right next door. Excellent.
