It smells wonderful everytime you walk in! They have bouqueta that range from $25-$45 and of course you can walk in or call ahead and ask them to make you a custom bouquet. The staff had added lots of babies breath, green folliage, ribbons and individual water tubes to several of the flowers. While I was waiting for them to wrap the bouqueta, one of the staff took a call from a client. He selected a plant for her, prepared it for delivery, wrote a card and, proceeded to payment. He answered ALOT of questions but he was so patient and clearly enjoyed it. Really wonderful service! The flowers all lasted 2 weeks before they started to wilt, which I think it a pretty long time for cut flowers!

The assistant helped me make a decision, and I proceeded with the order. We communicated by email since they needed the recipient's full address and phone number. I promptly provided the information--but never received any confirmation or update to confirm that my order was being processed. It felt like my request had gone into a black hole. The next day, I followed up by phone since I hadn't heard back. I spoke to several people, none of whom could find a record of my order. Eventually, I reached the person who had taken my order, and I re-sent all the delivery details. She assured me that the delivery would be completed that day and that I would receive a confirmation and receipt. To my surprise, she called back less than ten minutes later asking for all the same information again--apparently, my order had been misplaced, and she couldn't even recall what I had purchased. She again promised to send a confirmation email once the order was finalized. Once again, no confirmation arrived. I had to call yet again to follow up, only to be told the delivery had already been completed. When I asked why I hadn't received any confirmation, they realized they had "made a mistake" with my email address. I find that hard to understand, considering they had successfully emailed me earlier to request the delivery details. This was an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. I expected much better communication and professionalism from a florist with Westmount's reputation. Lesson learned: don't be fooled by the polished website--what you see online does not reflect the quality of service you actually receive.

However, later that day, I was told that what I had paid would not be able to get the bouquet as advertised on their website. The lady I spoke to said their prices on the website had not been adjusted for the weak Canadian dollar. As a result, if I still wanted the bouquet, I would have to pay 20% more. Ultimately, I ended up cancelling my order. No apology was made. I rarely leave any reviews, especially negative ones since it can really hurt a business, but I was very disappointed to find out that I was mislead.

On her birthday, she didn't receive the delivery I had ordered. I phoned the florist and they apologized, said they would add more flowers, and deliver the next day. The next day, still no delivery! Phoned again, they said they would send the delivery guy back again, and said they would give me a refund for my trouble. STILL NO DELIVERY! My friend was in her apartment the whole time, but no delivery came or contacted her. When I phoned again to demand a refund, they became suddenly much less friendly. Told me they had to deduct $10 for the delivery fee -- the delivery that never happened! My friend then WENT DOWN to the florist to ask for the bouquet AND THEY WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO HER! Truly the worst experience I've ever had with a florist.

What can I say about my purchase? I bought the eternal blue roses, and it has been 8 months already. They still look lovely, and they hold up pretty well since then. It feels real to the touch, but it doesn't have the flower's fresh scent, which I don't mind a bit. For those who are not used to purchasing something that twice or three times what you would normally pay, it looks small compared to a bouquet, and it has a nice elegant look. I can put it anywhere in my room, and it adds a lovely touch. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, and I find it is worth the money to invest if you like flowers. I know I do! The roses look impeccable. The delivery is on point and on time. There is a social distancing involved, and they made sure to ring the bell before dropping it off in front of your door.
