I visited the location in the village of Mount Pleasant (near Racine, WI) to check out their 8-acre corn maze. The theme this year is the Loch Ness Monster, but I wouldn't let the theme influence you either way as it did not have a significant impact on the experience. The maze is divided up into different sections/quadrants that can easily be identified by different colored (blue, yellow, white, and green) strips running throughout the maze. The colors don't ruin the level of difficulty; they simply let you know that you are progressing into the next section and are really something of a safety measure. I moved at a relatively brisk pace and was unencumbered by small children. That said, it took me approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete, walking roughly three miles. I thought it was a neat experience, and it gave me a nice touch of nostalgia as I haven't done a corn maze since I was a kid. I recommend checking it out, but I think it would be challenging to do at night or with children requiring a stroller as the ground is obviously dirt and not even. *Also make sure to use the restroom prior to entering

I ordered a mixed bouquet by phone for my girlfriend for our 4 year anniversary to be delivered on July 2nd 2026. During the conversation I specified, when a mixed bouquet was suggested ,that it must have NO LILIES, after the lady on the phone repeated "okay no lilies" I explained that my girlfriend is allergic. After discussing that the bouquet will have lots of roses in it she takes payment of 280 dollars. On July 2nd I get a message from my girlfriend with pictures that the flowers arrived with a ton of lilies. I called flowers by Walter immediately and nobody answered. The voicemail stated they will not be back until the next week Tuesday the 7th. I left a message explaining the situation with my name and number to call back. They did not call back. I waited till Tuesday. No call back. Thursday I called them back for the second time figuring they would never call me back and was met with one of the designers. She stated that the note she received did not have any note about lilies but that she would have the person I talked to call me back. She then stated that she wished I called the same day to which I responded " I did no one answered I left a voicemail. " her response was "oh okay I havent listened to any of the voicemails yet. " Keep in mind we are a whole week later. 3 days after they have reopened. The lady then called me back and was immediately rude and hostile towards me. She told me I never specified no lilies and called me a liar and told me she would give me 25 dollars credit from the 280. She stated that I'm calling a week later despite the fact that she was told multiple times that I called the same day not even 5 minutes after the order was delivered and left a voicemail. I told her I did not expect the full 280 back as I understand the flowers were delivered and she has to pay for the flowers and everything else but I expect more than just 25 dollars. I did not want to cause an issue and was willing to give them a chance to make it right but after she again reiterated that I'm a liar and I was only going to get 25 dollars I responded "25 dollars is not even close to what I'm expecting I guess you can send that but-" and then she hung up on me. Their service was very rude. SHE COULD HAVE KILLED MY GIRLFRIEND, yet they acted like I was the liar and the criminal. Ive ordered flowers from many places and ive never had this bad of an experience. Take your money elsewhere to someone who appreciates it and will not belittle you after they make a mistake and refuse to accept it. Here at flowers by Walter the customer is always wrong!
