I've worked with David, Sofia and Forrest to secure two positions over the past two years and in both cases I felt they assisted greatly in honing my expansive resume in a way to focus on the particulars of the positions they were putting me up for. Communication was consistent, professional and courteous and I was very happy with the positions they worked on my behalf to secure interviews, trials and follow ups for. Both my initial private chef position I found through them for the UES and now my current one for a family in the greater NYC area suited me very well for what I was looking for at the time and has allowed my career to mature in a way that's been very helpful. They were always upfront and honest about the details of prospective positions and I never felt surprised by the circumstances of a trial that I walked into even for those jobs I decided not to pursue. Of all the agencies in the greater NYC area they were definitely the most active in assisting me find a position. As with all high end staffing, it is a relatively lengthy and thorough process to move from interview to contract signing but they assisted the whole way and kept me in the loop as things progressed. Thanks so much to David, Sofia, Forrest and whole team at Higher Society for their expertise, thoroughness and dedication. -Andrew D.

Initially, at the onset of the conversation, I specifically asked to speak with Gerry Sheridan. She's the person who I saw on my LinkedIn feed yesterday and I had already taken the initiative to send her an introductory email last night. In hindsight, seeing the wonderful reviews about Gerry, I wish that I had spoken with her instead of the insolent woman-child who answered my call. I informed the person of my very unique situation being new to DC and she immediately began interrupting me in mid-sentence. I guess she assumed that what I had said was more than enough for her to hear. Eventually, when I was able to get a word in edgewise, I told her that the interruptions were a COMPLETE turnoff. I also informed her that 40 hours is actually considered the maximum amount of full-time hours and anything over that was considered overtime. I don't understand how this individual in employed with a staffing agency and doesn't understand that, under the Affordable Care Act, 32 hours per week is considered full-time. Of course, she wouldn't let me continue the sentence to explain that much to her. And what was her excuse? "Well, I have another call coming in 20 seconds so I was trying to rush this conversation along..." WHO SAYS THAT TO A PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE?!?! If this is the first point of contact for anyone who calls your office, she is doing a major disservice to your company. I have NO intentions of calling back and I will definitely inform everyone that if they want to receive subpar customer service at the onset, call C-Suite Assistants. I'm beyond disgusted.

When I reached out to them again in 2020, their staffer Lauren Buonopane was the best teammember from their organization!! She consistently looked for a role that best suited my prior experience and she was very attentive, always calling me and coordinating interviews or follow-ups when she could. She was extremely dedicated, despite the Covid-19 pandemic effecting the workforce I'd re-entered late 2020. Ms. Buonopane found the perfect professional fit for me in my current adminstrative role and coordinated the details of my start with the new company very fluidly, as I had no problems fitting into my new role and she was there for me every step of the way as I began my new career. I would definitely recommend this agency and their team. They match their candidates very well with the careers in which they have experience and they gauge the connection of their clients with the position exceptionally well! I would also return to The Bacharach Group should I need their guidance and recommendations in the future. Lauren is especially very compassionate - she goes above and beyond to pair clients with their potiential success in a growing company. I thank their team for keeping in touch with me and connecting me with a role that will grow my skills and hopefully lead to bigger endeavors.

Beyond that, he was genuinely motivating and encouraging, which made a huge difference during what can be a pretty stressful process. It really felt like he was invested in helping me find the right role, not just any role. I also had the chance to work with Brandon and Maggi, who were both equally helpful and responsive. One thing that could be improved on was follow-through, especially towards the end of the hiring process. I basically had the job in hand, but was waiting for confirmation...and I followed up with Core, but did not hear anything back. Perhaps it was the hiring company that dropped the ball, but it was a bit concerning that i basically had the job, but didn't have a specific start date nailed down. I felt this both as a hiring manager and also when it came time to find a new opportunity myself, so more or less wrote off the entire industry as a hustle. Grady Levkov is *not* that type of firm at all and the fact that I'm compelled to write a review for a recruiting firm hopefully demonstrates what an outlier I feel they are in the industry. From my first conversation with Josh Levkov, which lasted over an hour (approximately 59 minutes longer than most conversations with recruiters), I knew that something different was going on. He took the time to actually digest my background, ask a lot of questions about my goals, and, most importantly, not try to sell me on a specific opportunity or agenda. Once I agreed to meet a very elite and targeted group of companies, I quickly learned that the executives there also had a positive bias towards Grady Levkov, presumably because of successful placements in the past (including themselves). Ultimately, I ended up with a perfect opportunity and am 100% convinced that it would not have have happened if I went with another recruiting firm or, worse, a random assortment of cold-calling recruiters. Throughout the process, whether my interviews went well or poorly, I was treated with a lot of respect and honesty. There was constant communication each step of the way from both Josh and his team, and even after my offer was signed, follow-up calls to ensure that everyone was happy with the fit. The experience was such a positive one that I will now *only* use Grady Levkov in the future when conducting my own candidate searches. To me, they are a "throwback" type of firm, embodying the idea that good people need good people to find good people. Hopefully this review will save others the time of looking elsewhere.
