Nutrient dense and great tasting, full of flavor and lots of options. I am the landlord that saw these girls hold together through the pandemic, opening and construction issues and more! They are troopers, organic great operators and steady as can be. The food is like no other in Arkansas. As we were walking out ( and they had 100 percent occupancy), a woman came in that had driven from Hot Springs just to eat here. I think this says it all. read more

Highly recommend this restaurant! Not only is the ambiance fun and cheerful, the menu is great, and the staff is exceptional. I ordered the mushroom sandwich and green smoothie, both so delicious that I had to order the stir fry to go! I will be back ASAP! read more

The space is like a therapy session :) Light and airy and filled with light. Friendly service, diverse staff and unique blends for the caffeinated and non-alcohol drinks. The menu changes and appears to spruce local options. It's. Great place to bring folks from out of town who don't necessarily want to have ribs. Several vegetarian and some vegan options as well There is a room there also which lined with rich floral wallpaper which is so cool. Do check it out. read more

Okay, let's talk about avocado toast for a second. Most places treat it like the participation trophy of breakfast, slap some avocado on bread, sprinkle a little salt, call it a day. Yawn. But this place? Oh no, they came to play. This was avocado toast perfection. The bread? Crispy, chewy, basically a love letter from the carb gods. The avocado? Seasoned so well it made me question if I've ever actually tasted avocado before or if I've just been eating green paste my whole life. Every bite had that perfect balance, rich, tangy, a little bright kick from the seasoning that made it anything but basic. And then there was the iced seasonal black pumpkin drink. First off, who even thinks of that? Second, how dare it be that good? I was expecting "fall in a cup," but what I got was bold, unique, and just the right amount of mysterious. That hit of fruit zest on top? Totally unexpected, totally genius. read more

We stopped in while in Little Rock for the weekend and were delightfully surprised by Flora Jean's. The interior atmosphere and decoration is very well done. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and kind. Although we didn't realize the menu is vegan/vegetarian before walking in, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals (I had the avocado toast, my partner had the special - lentil soup and grilled cheese). The coffee was delicious and the service was quick; we certainly enjoyed our meals here and would recommend read more

I wandered into Flora Jean's this past Sunday for brunch after missing the rooftop brunch at the Hilton. My spouse and I saw people walking happily into Flora Jean's and decided to give it a try. Upon entry, the restaurant had a fun, vibrant atmosphere almost styled in a rustic or vintage glamour. I immediately liked the vibe so we stayed. With a lot of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, the menu was innovative and refreshing for the LR brunch scene! We ordered pineapple & watermelon mimosas and talked through our entree options. There were so many things to choose from, try, and taste that all sounded so yummy. I opted for the peach pancakes and bae had the farmers breakfast. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. He had a friendly presence with a bit of whimsy like a mad scientist when he offered us chlorophyll in our water. I could barely taste it so I was happy we went ahead and got it. The green water looked quite interesting but still pleasing. I enjoyed my pancakes quite a bit. They were definitely sweet, decadent, and indulgent, so make sure you are in the mood for that. It was almost like eating peach cobbler for breakfast. But I liked that even though the pancakes tasted like honey, the pancakes didn't make me feel heavy after eating them. My spouse enjoyed the farmers breakfast but I didn't try much of it besides the biscuit--which I really loved. The biggest downfall was toward the end of our meal when an ant climbed out of my spouses fruit bowl on her plate. She had eaten nearly all of her food already. So, it didn't exactly spoil the meal but it also wasn't the best ending. read more

This is a really cute place. All vegetarian with many vegan items. The people were extremely friendly and service was great. Everyone was really nice and personable. I had the bagel with carrot lox and the vegan, gluten free berry pancake. The pancake was an 8.5/10. Very tasty and sauce heavy but the texture and flavors all went together very well. I'm not a huge fan of coconut shavings or that amount of sauce but it was still pretty good and I'd eat it again. The bagel with carrot lox 6.5/10. It was a little too extra and could've been a little more simplified. The flavors did a lot of competing so it was hard to really appreciate the true essence of the meal. This may be more of a personal taste choice so consider that. read more

Great ambiance. It's always a little bit too cold. Wait staff is kind. I've been here several times and I once had the blue biscuit when it was fresh and I keep going back for that same thing again again and unfortunately it's never happened again. So I should give up on that, but the rest of the food is very good, including the not so warm food. read more

The service is great. The grits were amazingly delicious. Great spot for those vegetarians. Nice atmosphere

Love this place! It is beautiful! The service has been great both time we were there. The food is pretty delicious. It's different for sure but tasty. We had their vegan quesadillas and those were super yummy. The biscuits were a little dry but the jam was amazing. The potatoes were great. Their lattes are always delicious. Will definitely go back to keep trying new things. On our previous visits we had the wild berry pancakes which my kiddo loved. The mushroom toast was great. Beignets we're amazing. The Macaroon was also fantastic. The cinnamon roll was not great, but I've had ones from @the corner, which are the best ever. read more

4.5 should be an option for growth but ima go ahead on the 5, because I did really enjoy my food and the atmosphere. So here goes: Meals: Wife and I did the split so we could experience both items.(** Portions are small) Tacos and sprouted bacon sandwich (vegan) the tacos were good but the sauces that come with it are bland. Sandwich was really good but could have used sprouts as the grand finale. Desserts: chocolate roll was excellent but would have been better with some cashew ice cream Rose cocoa brownie was a bit dry, could have been heated and then add some of that cashew ice cream also read more

Walked in on a rainy weekday morning to a friendly smiling face. Our server greeted us and kindly explained the menu to us since it was our first visit. They have a super cute coffee bar and delicious homemade pastries in the case. The ambiance is fantastic!!! We ordered a dirty mushroom chai (chai with a shot of espresso) and the pineapple juice. Both were so amazing. The avocado toast with a poached egg and the two eggs and biscuit breakfast. It was all out of this world!!!! This is my new favorite place in Little Rock!!! read more

I was blown away to see an all plant-based brunch place in Little Rock! I came here with a friend around 10am and was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so cute! So many live plants all around and the garage style windows were up to allow for some air flow. It created a very pleasant environment. The food was amazing! I got the bagel and lox, my friend got the walnut chorizo tacos, and we split wild berry pancakes. I would suggest all of these options! Our server was very nice - I do think the server maybe got a bit overwhelmed as things got busy but we were taken care of and were able to get what we needed. I am very excited to go back! read more

Great food with many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Amazing coffee!! The service would've been spectacular if there wasn't just one server on the floor when I visited. The dude was running around by himself trying to greet like 5-6 tables that were sat at once and also take care of his existing tables. He definitely did his best to keep up so I'm giving him and this business 5 stars. The ambiance and overall vibe of the restaurant is probably one of the best I've seen in this town. If Little Rock's restaurant scene continues investing in this type of establishment, then I see a brighter future for what's now the quiet town of Little Rock. read more

Finally made it to Flora Jean's last Sunday. The place is beautiful and the relaxing ambiance is perfect for brunch. We tried the golden (turmeric) latte with Walnut Chorizo Tacos with AND without the egg (to make it vegan) and the Avocado toast. Everything was delicious! Our server was great, she was nice and attentive. We also got to chat with the owners and were given a sneak peak of the private room that is coming soon! It is super cute and cozy. Atmosphere is amazing. It's cozy and cute and rustic all in one. The food is creative and good. Some things are a miss from their meat alternatives (I've tried meat alternative options elsewhere that were way better) of but if you want good baked goods this is the place. The juices refreshing and visually appealing. I recommend everything about this place! It was so lovely and comfortable. Molly, our server, was great and not afraid to make good recommendations. Mixed feelings based on two visits. First visit was pleasant. Second was not because my order was messed up twice and it took over an hour and a half to get a standard menu item. Was told to was a mix up I the kitchen. Staff was apologetic but did not offer to comp it or discount it and I had to take it to go because of the timing. It wasn't so pleased as a take away order and was room temperature when I got to eat it 20 min later. Both visit the food was high quality but bland in taste. Not sure I'll try it again which is disappointing because it high high quality ingredients and vegan/vegetarian fare. read more

Heard about this from a local and walked right over. Open on a Sunday, warmly greeted, and the space was super cute. The menu (vegan + eggs) made me want to order one of each, but I had the Farmer's Market and it was delicious. Had a groovy cardamom latte with it. 10/10 would go again. read more

Sigh. The interior designer of this vegetarian restaurant created a magical and cozy atmosphere unique to Little Rock. I am a vegetarian who was so excited to explore the menu at this new vegetarian restaurant opening in walking distance from my home. Our server, Audrey was delightful. We started with a beet root and a regular margarita. Both were good but unmemorable. We were famished on arrival and ordered the Eggs Benedict and Kelp Cacio e Pepe. The Eggs Benedict flavors were good but we both struggled to cut through the bacon with our fork and knife. The Kelp Cacio e Pepe is a cold dish that does not have pepper and a very slight cheese flavor. The name Cacio e Pepe translates to cheese and pepper. It was just ok. Eager to find a dish that I loved, I ordered the Blue Jean Biscuit and Mushroom Gravy. This dish was better but not great. My favorite things during this visit were the biscuits (though I would order them as an appetizer with jam), banana ketchup (popular in the Philippines), hot sauce, plating and atmosphere. I really liked Audrey, our server. Her only miss was that she never asked how we liked the food. One of the owners came by as we were wrapping things up and asked how we liked everything. I gave a mixed review and was direct about the bacon to which she replied that maybe they will have to get knives that are more serrated. I know the same owners own @ The Corner Diner which is a beloved downtown spot. Our bill ($119.21 tip included) was higher than the previous day at The Oyster Bar where we had more food and alcohol. Despite the lows of our experience, I loved the atmosphere, server and hope that they will consider making some changes to the menu - and lower the cost. With so few vegetarian spots in Little Rock I am likely to eventually return to try different options. I am rooting for you, Flora Jean's. read more

Excellent breakfast for vegans and vegetarians. This restaurant was on the corner next to our hotel and we felt like we lucked out! And the bagels are made in house! Also, the wildberry pancakes were just spectacular! A side of bean sprout bacon-also incredible! They use a lot of local Arkansas produce and eggs! Can't wait to return!! And hopefully they will open a second lock-in West Little Rock soon! Thank you to Helen and her team for bringing this to life! I am so happy this place exists in LR! First of all, it is so cute in there. A really happy and relaxed vibe. I could have stayed there all day. The food was delicious. I got the chorizo tacos...really hard to believe it's not meat. I've craved chorizo since I've stopped eating meat, and I was so overjoyed to see it on the menu. It didn't disappoint. My spouse got mushroom gravy, and it was so tasty! I'll definitely get that next time. The cranberry soda was also excellent. Flora Jean's, thank you for existing in my city!
