Anne was dedicated to the sale of our home, Liz was dedicated to the purchase of our new home and Kristine assisted in the office coordinating all communications and made sure nothing was missed. They offered staging advice which was very helpful. They gave us insight as to what needed to be done, which we did, which allowed for a very quick sale. In addition, they hired an amazing professional photographer and put a sign on our for sale sign that gave our home its own website. We were under contract 2 days after listing with a formal back up offer too! As if selling a home isn't stressful enough, the day our home went under contract, we also found our dream home which we went under contract with too! When we first met with the Cianchette Group, we were simply wanting to know what they could offer and were simply blown away by their knowledge, experience, and professionalism.

I hereby award Jennifer Kanwit the Realtor of the Year Award! Unfortunately, I am under no…read moreauthority to grant this award other than the fantastic experience we had buying our Maine home with Jennifer. We moved here from Indiana and had really high expectations for what we wanted in our Maine home. Jennifer doesn't just listen, she infers, asks probing questions, and works hard to get to know her clients in order to supply them with the best service. Ultimately, we ended up buying our house sight unseen, so she and her colleagues worked exponentially harder to make sure we were going to be ok - bringing in every inspector and specialist so that our home would be ready for us when we arrived. The day we were driving into Maine, Jen called to tell us there was a leak that was threatening to ruin our hardwood floors. She was there right away (we had already closed mind you) and called on experts to come in and ameliorate the problem. Thanks to her quick actions, no significant damage was done. I could go on and on about how Jennifer regularly goes above and beyond. It's just her nature! Shout out to Sarah Singer, Phyllis, and Ellen who each played an important supporting role in getting this house for us. We are beyond delighted and recommend Jennifer and Portside to anyone!!

The owner even calls you back the next day and personally confirms the order for delivery five days later. It's for your mother. Across the country. For a special occasion. And then... nothing happens. No delivery. No call. No email. Nothing. The next day, I had to call and ask whether the flowers had even been delivered, because my mom never texted me to thank me for them. That's when it hit me: she spent the entire day thinking I had forgotten her. Not because I forgot. Because this florist was completely disorganized. What made it even worse was the response when I called. There was no accountability. No urgency. Not even a genuine apology. If you are ordering flowers for someone important, especially from a distance, understand that this shop may fail completely at the one thing you are paying them to do: deliver your message that someone is loved and remembered.
