Owner is a Blatant Liar and a dishonest businessman…read more 1. I was sold a USED firearm without being warned that the object I was purchasing may very well have been placed down someone else's pants. 2. I was then verbally berated by the owner after requesting a refund. 3. I was then written a nasty disrespectful message from Perry the owner. Response from the owner 2 hours ago Not much of a response needed here. Just facts. Joe is in his living room. Loads magazine into a firearm that he fails to check to see if it's loaded. IT IS. Points gun at wall & pulls trigger, blasting his wall. Tries hiding stupidity from wife & kids. He FAILS every gun safety fundamental there is. He's embarrassed & asks to return firearm because it's defective. I explain how he failed every gun safety measure & suggest he takes a gun safety course before owning a firearm. Of course, this is all our fault. Enough said. 1. I had a snap cap in one hand and a bullet in the other and mixed them up by accident. (As I told Perry the owner) 2. I do NOT HAVE A WIFE OR KIDS! (He has completely fabricated that nonsense) 3. I NEVER claimed the gun was defective. 4. The only fault that Perry and his shop are responsible for is the fact that I was told the gun was new, or I would not have purchased it. 5. Why don't we honest people just puke at the thought of this pitiful putz and move on.

Walked through the whole store and, honestly, found quite a few wares I would have purchased. As…read morethey have sections to place your intended purchases up by the register we made multiple trips and had probably more than twenty or thirty items. To our disbelief, the owner asked my husband if he intended to pay for a red glass bowl that was in his pocket. Confused and deeply insulted, he emptied his pockets to prove her mistake and we left. To accuse someone of theft when they're making a marked effort to bring items up to the register seems odd. Why would we bother to place a hundred dollars or more worth of items by the register? Needless to say they not only lost the sale today but we won't be back and are not able to recommend this establishment to anyone.

We went to this place and found several items that we placed on the front desk throughout our time shopping. We had thirty or so items on the desk by the end of our time there. Upon checkout, the lady at the front desk accused me of shoplifting a bowl. I have never stolen anything in my life or been accused of stealing, and didn't really even know how to respond. If I were going to steal something, why would I put thirty items on the desk to pay for??? This made no sense u til I read reviews on several different platforms. Looks like I am not the only one to experience this from the people that own this shop. The people running this place are clowns. Do not go there!!! My wife and I left a Facebook review and they blocked us. That alone tells me they know they were wrong!!!

The thousands of books were there, all right, but in a building that smells overwhelmingly of mold. I don't know whether it's from a roof leak or a flood, or whether they have just bought a lot of smelly books, but my husband and I both stank of mold even after we left, and I was coughing. I didn't find much of a selection of unusual or uncommon books to tempt me, and the layout of the place is very strange. I couldn't find mystery books for over ten minutes. They were hidden away in a corner, and given far less prominence than romance or inspirational books. Even if I found out that the mold problem had been solved, it's not likely we would return.

While they didn't have much, I did find their music section, and got a great book on the old ACE Records label. However, the best part of the experience was Lori, the owner (I believe). She was SO HELPFUL!!! I asked about her usual stock, and she was totally willing to have an in-depth conversation with me about various subjects. Also, when I went to check out, and told her that I was in town for a concert, she reached into a drawer, and pulled out an information sheet recommending restaurants for dinner, breakfast and coffee places. She even gave me some of her own, and some advice on where else to look for good used books!! Other than the concert itself, it was the highlight of my trip there. Thank you Lori!!!
