We love the food and atmosphere in here. Our server Yolanda is a sweetheart and attentive. Once you're seated with your menus, the waiter(s) will usually bring out a plate of chips with coloradito sauce(it's my favorite)! When my family and I come here, we usually order chocolate de agua with Pan de Yema. It is the perfect starter on a chilly day or rainy day. If we're not craving something hot, we order Horchata Oaxaqueño. To eat, we've had the Empanada de Flor de Calabaza, Chilaquiles Verdes/Salsa de Tomate, Tlayudas, Coloradito y taquitos dorados. All their food is amazing and comes out in a timely manner. This restaurant also has free parking which is a huge plus in our book.

I am happy to confirm that it is. I housed 5 tacos in one sitting. I tried the carne asada, pastor, and lengua. By far my favorite was the carne asada. It was so tender and salted to perfection. The pastor was also definitely a highlight, thinly sliced crispy bits with a slice of pineapple on top. Not to say the lengua was bad by any means, but we did get back in like 3 times just for the carne asada...

What I dislike is the wait time outside, but this place is very popular among the Oaxacan community and the Oaxacan food lovers like me so there's that. The staff is very attentive and the ambiance is pretty family style. They have live music and they play beautiful classic songs from some of the best Mexican singers. This place is also a little more expensive than any other places around the area but they've been in business in forever so what isn't expensive these days though. I'll keep coming back for sure. Clean restrooms and good luck finding parking on site. You're better off at parking on the streets nearby.

Yelp review info came in handy. Friday after work at 446 pm I wasn't sure I was going to make it to…read morethe food truck in time before closing at 5 pm. I remembered that they accept phone orders. I called in as I was driving through the mid Wilshire streets. I ordered an asada and a pastor burrito. Easy peasy. It took me a couple minutes to get there and my order was already done waiting for me to pick up and pay. I hang up the phone and I continue navigating my way to the burrito truck. I pull into the Asian market parking lot hoping that they don't mind the intrusion. I see the Jesus and blank in the truck. They are very friendly folks. Their English is excellent, no issues with communication. The total came to $20, assuming $10 each per burrito. Yes, card is accepted but they will charge you a fee. I was told $2 extra. So, I told her I'll pay cash instead. I also asked for a receipt thinking it's easily printed... No, she hand wrote it. I took pictures of their offerings but there are no prices shown. The bag felt so heavy (2+ lbs)! The little plastic bag also included 2 cups of hot sauce, a bag of jalapenos & carrots, and plenty of napkins. Each burrito was just over a pound each. The asada burrito contains rice. I'm mainly a carnivore dieter. So, this isn't ideal for me. The burrito was a very enjoyable experience with the hot sauce and condiments. I will update review another day for the pastor experience.

I've expressed it already again and again, probably a million times about my never ending pursuit…read moreand support of food trucks. I've been asked over and over again why? It's a place where you can get the most authentic cuisine prepared by chefs who didn't go to any culinary school but instead learned how to prepare food from generations to generations. I've never had Honduran food so when I heard of this food truck which is located just outside the Wilshire/Normandie Station, I made sure to catch them and see what they offer. I had the Deluxe plate consist of ground beef empanada, crispy chicken taco, and a Honduran bean and cheese quesadilla. For a first timer, this plate is a must have as it was served with three different items to try. As expected, it was really good. Prepared from scratch with skillful hands, using fresh ingredients, the plate had all the wow factor you're looking for.

I did struggle to find parking and ended up parking about a block away on one of the side streets and paid metered parking. I stood in line about 3 people deep, ordered a baleada made of beans, cheese, cream, egg and avodado. $6 add a bottled mexican coke, $4 total $10 After i ordered I waited 15 minutes to get what I call a glorified taco/burrito. Over priced for what it is. A large flour tortilla, with a few beans, a little cheese, some cream a scrambled egg and a couple of slices of avocado. One is not filling. I am not knocking the flavor but really....personally I would rather have 3 street tacos or a burrito. Their baleado with chicken was $7 I think maybe $8, but in short, I think we can all find decent burritos for that price. Honestly, I apprecaite food from any country provided it has taste, quality and most of all authenticity of some sort. I get it is hard to make authentic food when you cannot locate the herbs and spices or if they are hard to find or even if most people in this great country of ours do not consume some of the foods eaten in those countries. However, beans and cheese......really? I think the tortilla used was good, nice texture and fluffy, aside from that, it was truly nothing special or different from what I have had in various Salvadorian, Guatemalan or Mexican restaurants for a lesser price and honestly better taste. Again, my opinion. If you are not sheepish about being on a busy intersection and also getting a wiff of what areas where homeless people live, then be my guest, stop and get a baleada or any other dish they sell. I would recommend this place just to try, service was good with a little wait, but overall, they had their regulars and ethnic people stopping by.
