The last helping us was named Diane, she helped us with our needs when we described what we had in mind. We were thinking of 12x12 or 20x20 square tiles. Diane brought us up to date on what the current trends were and we picked out a 12x24 white tile with hints of marbleing that wouldn't be slick when it was wet! She also helped with a grout to go with our floor and we were thinking very dark after what we went through on our last floor. Diane recommended a dark gray and we thought it would look good also! They came in on a Monday morning and got the old vinyl removed in short order. It wasn't long that the installer Johnny was laying the tile down! He finished late afternoon and said he would be back the next morning to do the grout after the mortar for the time had time to set. Johnny was back promptly at 8:30am the next morning and had the grout completed in no time at all!!! We are very, very happy with the way our new kitchen floor looks. We weren't very sure of how or what we wanted to replace the stuff we took up from a water damaged floor. Diane was very helpful in discussing the latest tile trends with us as we were looking at either 12x12 or 20x20 square tiles. We were informed that not too many manufacturers make what we were looking for! She said that most tile makers now days tend to make tiles in a 12x24 pattern which is what we used to replace our laminate wood floor in our last house. We were looking for something that would make the kitchen look a little bigger than the 9x9 area that we are working with. Diane was very helpful in helping my wife try to get the look we wanted! We finally settled on a white 12x24 ceramic tile with sight marbleing and a charcoal colored grout to set it off. We chose the dark grout because we went with an almond colored grout in our last house with Terra Cotta colored tile and everything that was dropped or spilled stained it. She was constantly having to clean it with toothbrushes to get it clean again! Diane informed us that the newer grouts have their own sealers! I highly recommend Porter's for your flooring needs. They are very helpful and have a wide variety of samples for you to look over.

Long story short, I found a leak in my guest room which is connected to my master bedroom. I…read morecalled a plumber who then told me that the problem isn't plumbing, it is my shower and I needed to replaced it. I asked if he knew anyone who he can refer me to. He then said "Quality Sales". I stopped by Quality Sales on the way to work and looked around their showroom. Mario (the employee there) showed me different colors of tiles and options I can do. I asked if they can check out my shower now and since I was to be at work in about an hour. He looked over his schedule and said "Yes, let's go". He told me to grab a few of their sample marble to see which one will look best when I put it against the wall. We then went over to my house, he talked about options. He measured the shower and asked us what we wanted. He said, he will call us back today with a quote. Sure enough, he called us back in about 3-4 hours with a quote. Of course we didn't like the price and told him that we are going to shop around. Indeed we did, we called a few other places and didn't like the other prices. We went back to Quality Sales and start on the paper work to begin construction. You do have to pay a down payment and pay the rest after completion. So they began construction. They ended up busting a water pipe which made water leak to my guest room and damaged the base boards which of course they fixed. About a few days later, I notice that there were some bumps in the marble so I called them and they came out and fixed it right away. 18months later, I am still happy that I called Quality Sales and used cultured marble instead of tiles. It is so much easier to clean and keep clean. I would definitely recommend them. I really liked Mario and the other staff. They were all friendly and knew what they were doing. Even though my carpet was only a year old it needed some serious TLC. Two rooms in the home had much older carpeting while all the other rooms were a year old. When the owner arrived he instantly made the kids and I comfortable. He assessed the work with me and got straight to work. I was so comfortable with him the kids and I went and ran errands while he worked. He did pick on me saying that my new carpet did not look bad at all. (More on that later.) When we returned home I was 100% satisfied. EVERY room looked fresh and new. Low to no odor. No items were damaged or broken. The carpets looked better then I had hoped even the old (and I mean OLD) ones. He followed up with me that evening to make certain I was satisfied.
