I purchased my custom double entry doors 15 years ago and the doors are beautiful. However, due to…read morethe insulation black butyl tape they installed around each window, some of the seals have failed and there is what I believe to be butyl oozing growing between the double panes, making my once pristine doors unsightly. Upon googling this product, it states, "The main disadvantages of butyl tape are heat sensitivity, weak chemical resistance, and a lack of structural rigidity. Kejian Polymer Materials (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd +2 Temperature and Weather Limits Melting in high heat: Extreme or prolonged heat can make the tape overly soft, causing it to ooze, bleed, or lose its grip. Stiffening in the cold: Freezing temperatures make the tape stiff and hard to apply or shape correctly. UV degradation: Unprotected tape can break down over time when exposed to constant sunlight." This is a professional company and I would expect that they use appropriate materials that would be trouble free in all weather conditions for far more than 15 years. The owner, J. K. Jones quoted me $55. per replacement window (of which I have 8, so far, out of 54) and I'd have to hire someone to install the replacements locally, furthering my expenditure. And that's without knowing if they still use the same butyl tape that failed. Even though the doors never encounter rain and are mostly protected from the sun, as they are covered by substantial eaves, Mr. Jones is sticking to his 2 year warranty when it was Doors by Decora's choice to use a product which is inappropriate in all weather conditions, for which they take no responsibility. It's quite disappointing.

The quality of the door exceeded my expectations. The wood was beautifully stained and the glass work detail was exceptional. The doors are like pieces of art; beautiful craftsmanship. The friendly service was appreciated through the whole process. I highly recommend Doors by Decora. The installers also thought they were high quality doors which were easier then most doors to install.

They came in and did such a wonderful job laying our floors, and in just a day! Fast forward to 2 years and same water damage, only not as bad. We decided to use Carols Carpet again because of their professionalism and timely manner in which things are done! We went to their store and looked at the laminate they had this year as we wanted something similar. Tony helped us pick out a shade almost the same color and style as our other floor. They sent out their crew, and they got right on our floors! They were so nice and helpful with all of our questions! They started working at 8 am and by 3 pm we had new floors! They even move your furniture and put it back where it goes when they are done! Highly recommend Carols Carpet to do your floors!

They did some work for me from June of 2025 to August of 2025. One of the projects they did was…read moreinstalling carpet on my stairs and in my kids play room. Both areas are poorly installed and has caused 2 accidents. I called Jay the owner left a voicemail and text him for him or for a different crew to come out and fix it and he has not contacted me back. The only amount that was not paid to him was the money for not painting the inside of the storage unit which he said he would come to do and never showed up. My son cut his elbow on staples that were sticking up on the stairway and there were loose staples through out the carpet upstairs as well that kept sticking us in our feet! I had a carpet expert to come in to verify both the carpet in the playroom and the stairway carpet is very loose and not installed properly. I paid 3,000.00 for this job to be done plus the cost of the carpet!
