I called the plumber who had installed it 4 years ago and no answer. So came here to find help immediately. I called Pipedex Plumbing and spoke to a person (that was the first plus). They were able to make it out in less than 2 hours and with that, they have a GPS service so you can see where they are as they are on the way to your home. (Second plus). Very professional and not only removed the old one, but came right back with a new one. I called at 1:45pm and by about 5pm or so, we had a new water heater installed and hot water a half hour after that. I called and spoke to Victoria who basically told me they weren't interested in doing it my way since it wasn't to "code", which I presume is industry talk for you need the most expensive option. I agreed to get a quote to do it "their" way. Surprise, no quote! I'm not a believer in chasing after a contractor that clearly has no interest in my business.
