Eddy and his brother are very professional and knowledgeable people and they DO offer a very good customer service. The check-in process was very fast, no long lines like in big companies. They offered me a mid-size type of vehicle, instead of my compact-one without any charges which was nice from the beginning. And I really did like that they haven't tried to up sell me their insurance. The deposit was of a 200$, not like other companies, where it can go up to 500$ or 1.000$. I'm pleased and everything was very smooth ! Pick-up is easy. You call the number and they will come for you an pick you up. I think they even have courtesy phones in the airport from where you can reach out to Flex Rent a Car. A little bit of wait time, because they come to pick you up, after you call them, so I would advice calling them right away from that moment as you get off the plane, by the time you'll get to the place, they might be there already. read more

BEWARE! I would give this company zero stars if I could. My experience with them was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First, they billed me TWICE for the same rental - once on my credit card and once on my debit card. When I discovered the error, I tried to contact them immediately. For over TWO WEEKS, I called and emailed them multiple times with no response. My travel agent from Expedia also tried to contact them on my behalf and received the same radio silence. It's completely unacceptable for a business to be this unresponsive. When I finally managed to get a hold of someone, they had the audacity to claim the double charge was a fee because I had returned the car "dirty." This is a complete lie. I take pride in how I treat rental properties, and the car was spotless when I returned it. I even have time-stamped photos to prove the pristine condition I left it in, but they completely dismissed my evidence and refused to listen. SCAMMERS! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! If you don't bother to read the rest of the review - please just run the other way from this company! My husband googled Flex Rent A Car which is a subsidiary of CarWhiz, asking if they are FlexWays because we were waiting for the airport shuttle. The guys on the phone says yes and the shuttle will circle around and pick us up. Flex Rent A Car and FlexWays are NOT the same company - FYI. We get to the facility located at 2911 McCoy Rd, Orlando, FL 32812 and I tell Richard (I believe that was his name) the man with glasses that provided the service, that we have a reservation that was booked and paid for through Expedia. He asks for the confirmation number and I physically show him the email from FlexWays where the name of the company is clearly visible. At this point once he saw the email, he could have ethically said that it was the wrong company but no he continued with his scam. He asks me for my confirmation which I show him on my phone and he asks me confirm how much I paid. I even handed him my phone so that he could see the confirmation. Not once did he say that the reservation was not found or that he would be making a new one or again that it was not the right Flex Car. He then asks about getting a Sunpass, which I decline and he becomes visibly irritated and tells me to sign a form rejecting it. He asks about my insurance and I said I have my own through Geico. We have a full conversation about how he doesn't like Geico and I said I've never had an issue. He gives me the key and directs me and my husband to head outside to the car to inspect and he'll bring my receipt. I'm videotaping the walk through and he comes up saying the car is a 2024 and there should be no issues and that my husband can't drive in the lot but once we get off the lot he doesn't care what we do. I sit in the driver's seat to check the fuel as he hands me the receipt and I see $138.73 and I'm confused. I paid for the car in advance so why am I paying extra and he replies because I said I wanted the lowest insurance and I said no I have my own insurance. Again Richard gets irritated and we go back inside and he argues that I have to pay $15 a day regardless even to decline their insurance - which for 3 days would be $45 not $138.73. The math still does not add up. I proceed to ask him where online it says that because in clear yellow on my email, it shows there is NO additional fee you will need to pay to pick up your car. He says I'll bring it down to $10. I make it clear to Richard I'm not asking to pay less, I'm saying I shouldn't have to pay it at all. I have insurance. My husband proceeds to ask where is the insurance policy notice from their company and Richard says he will send it via email later. I expressed that I had time and I would wait while he finds it. Richard could not provide a link, website or a notice - nothing! He says will just take it off. As he takes it off he says he still needs to see my proof of insurance - I provide it and hand him my iPhone so he could see it. Thank God I get immediate notifications on my card purchases because I only receive a credit for $105.41. That is not the full $138.73 I'm owed and he says well we still need to rent the car. I ask why would I pay again for a car I already paid for as I show him the email from Expedia again indicating paid in full and he says because he's matching the price from Expedia and that's when it finally clicked that I was being scammed entirely. Another group of people come in to get their car and I asked what company and they said FOX and low and behold the same Flex company picked up innocent people trying to get their already paid for cars and it's not the right company. Richard told me not to speak to his customers and realizing the scam they left and got back on the van. I asked the van to wait and take us right back to the airport as well. By this point Richard and I are exchanging words on the ethics of how he does his job and how I shouldn't tell him how to do it. He asks for the keys back as I wait by the door for my additional refund to cover the entirety of the cost he charged me and once the charge was accurate I tossed the keys on the counter and Richard said he has me on camera for assault and he threatened to call the cops on us. I told him to go right ahead because it would further support my email to the Better Business Bureau on the scam that's occurring regularly. Richard began to threaten me that he had my information, my address and my name. For someone that did nothing wrong as he claims, it's appallingly aggressive threat to use someone's identity as an intimidation factor. When my husband and I finally make it to the correct car rental facility, they expressed that Flex Rent A Car does this often and we were not the first people that fell victim to their scam. FLEX Rent A Car, D/B/A CarWiz is proof of the adage "if it's too good to be true, it probably is." That $92 rental you pre-paid on Priceline will turn into a $230+ rental, PLUS what you paid Priceline, because they will fraudulently charge your card afterwards, claiming you requested the "basic insurance." When you try to resolve the dispute through a call, you will be told you need to "talk to a manager," who is of course never around. I disputed the amount through my credit card company, and mysteriously, they claimed a week afterwards that I called and told them to drop the dispute as I accepted the charge. In theory, without my codewords and other information, no one should be able to call and impersonate me at Citi, but it's awfully suspicious that that happened and now I am stuck trying to get them to re-open the dispute. On top of all this, on the day of pick-up, I had to call CarWiz close to two dozen times over the course of an hour before they bothered to pick up the phone to send over the shuttle. So, you get bad customer service on top of being scammed. At least the car was nice and in good shape. But I would have paid less renting from a reputable known agency that was also on-prem and would have gotten me my car in less than 90 minutes, and saved me weeks of sitting on hold with my credit card company trying to dispute their charge. Oh, and Priceline doesn't care, so, best not to do business with them, either, but that's a different review, eh? You've been warned by me and 1,000 other reviewers here, so, are you convinced yet to NOT do business with these people? They charge 200 for the insurance and another charge of 300 for tolls said we went through six tolls charging 50 per tolls knowing we only went through two tolls. Booked this vehicle through Priceline for a "great" price. Once we landed in Orlando it took 3 phone calls and over an hour to get a shuttle to take us to the lot for the car. We were a half hour away from this location and the car started making loud noises and grinding sounds. When I called the lot they said we had to drive it back, so we did. I specifically asked if we could count on the shuttle to get us back to the airport on time because they didn't show up to get us on time and we had an early flight. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. However, when the car was returned, the lot wasn't open so we had to also pay for an Uber. Upon looking at my credit card I discovered 2 more charges from Flex rent a car. Not CarWiz which I rented it under. One for insurance I specifically said I didn't want but somehow in all the paperwork to be signed, that was included......they said. I can't find the contract for the insurance......and also for toll roads. I'm not familiar with Florida so I had no idea that we would use toll roads. Still am not aware of the toll roads I supposedly used. Because I didn't know they charged me an extra $50. Tolls came to $6.75 and they charged me $156.75. So I ended up paying an extra $245.23 above what I paid to rent the car. I feel they lacked customer service from the time I arrived and couldn't get a shuttle, a broken down car, telling me we could shuttle to airport when we couldn't and almost $250.00 in "extra" charges that I never saw any paperwork for. We used Expedia to book this rental car. We were unaware at the time that the company was not located in MCO airport. We took a shuttle and everything went well with the pick-up; however, when we shared that our drop off would be at 5:30am, we were told that we would have to UBER to the airport, which ended up costing an additional $24.00, plus a good tip for the driver (thankfully the driver was there). We then found two charges for $183.12 each on our credit card on top of the original Paid in Full price. When I contacted the company, Tom stated that the charge "was in dispute" and he would not be able to give me any information or details about the charge. We, at that point, had not disputed any charges. We assumed it was an upcharge for the prepaid gas and the sun-pass and perhaps a mistake for the duplicate charge. The location operates under the name Zezgo car rental which is offsite from the airport so you stuck at there location to boot. Didnt get the type of vehicle we paid for ended up with some little pp car that had worn out wipers, dirty carpets and stained seats and the windsheild washer pump was not functional and air fresher that was so strong it gave you a headache took three days & windows down before it was tolerable. Carwiz car rental SCAM ALERT, AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Carwiz (for the rest of this review I will call it Scamwiz as it deserves this name) is a company that continues to scam it's customers. I just recently learned it myself. Recently I rented a car from Scamwiz using Expedia. It was a great price @ $135 for 9 days, for Hybrid Toyota crossover. I picked the car from WAW airport. The desk is in the Marriot lobby across the street (not with all other rental companies), and the cars are at the P6 parking behind the Marriot (again, different than other companies). First, when I arrived at 1PM on Friday, nobody was at the desk. I had to call the number and wait for the staff to show up. Not the big deal. Then the guy filled the paperwork, offered me a full coverage insurance, which I denied since my Credit Card offers this as a free benefit. I signed the paperwork. Than I had to wait for the car, again (it was being cleaned). Total this process took 1.5 hr at least. Little bit later the employee and I went to inspect the car. He took pictures, I pointed few things, he noted that, I looked at the windshield, no cracks, chips that could be easily seen. Done deal, I went on my way. It seemed like usual rental car pickup process. 9 days later I returned the car in exactly same condition. Again, nobody was at the desk. SO I just dropped the key and went to catch the flight. When I got to the hotel in another city in Europe, I received email with pictures, stating that damage to the windshield was found. (Pictures attached). I thought it was a joke. I actually laughed. Two TINYYYYYYY chips size of maybe 2mm across. Normal wear and tear that happens when car is used for it's purpose, ie: DRIVING. I did not hear the rocks hitting the windshield. I'm pretty sure these did not happen while I had the car. I called the office, and heard bunch of excuses, how they are trained to look at everything, and there was nothing they could do. I know how things are in Poland, you do what you are told or you are gone. I am guessing the employee was doing what he was told by the Scamwiz management in fear of losing his job. Hearing all that I said we are wasting time here, and I hung up. Few hours later I received the email, with the damage assessment of almost $500. For two tiny chips no more than 2mm across. Again, please see the pictures. $500 is enough to replace the windshield, which this damage does NOT justify. So this is why the car was so cheap, because they scammed me/my insurance for over almost 4 times the rental fee. Reviews on Google that I read before renting were ok, some bad, some good. Nothing stood out. Afterwards I dug deeper into the web, and found bunch of terrible reviews on Trustpilot. Scamwiz does this to almost everyone who declines their insurance. I must echo another positive review I see here on the park and ride option here at Flex. I reserved it online, printed off my receipt and was all set ahead of time. I was a little nervous with it being a brand new business with just two reviews here on Yelp, but they were great. They open at 9:00, so that might be an issue for a very early flight, but it was perfect for us. We got there as they opened and after a quick check-in they shuttled us to the Delta section of the airport. When we returned, we picked up our luggage and then phoned and they were there to pick us up in 15 minutes or so, which was fine as we sat and chilled after our long flight. I paid $184 for Flexways rent a car in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida through Priceline. The pick up was great. They picked me up in the car that I would be renting. No one else was in line. I then find out you can only use one of the "preferred insurances", which fortunately I had. They not only want your proof of insurance card...they want your declaration page, and you have to have more insurance than anyone I know. You need 300K worth of property liability. Who on earth carries that much?! Maybe a tractor trailer owner? So, the price went up to a total of about $400!!! I could've used a major car rental agency for that much, and they DON'T ask for your declaration page, a certain insurance carrier, or $300,000.00 worth of property liability!!! After a few days, the check engine light goes on. I call them, and they state that it's a faulty sensor...total lie! First of all, if there was a faulty sensor why on earth would they give me that car?! You'd think they would have told me that ahead of time if that was the case, and it happened a week after the pick up. I've had a faulty engine light sensor, and it stayed on all the time until I got my car fixed. The light was not on when I rented the car. So I wasted an entire afternoon of my vacation to go and exchange the car, including 2.5 hours of gas, and terrified the whole way that the car would break down on I-95 in Florida (5 lanes of traffic). I was skeptical at first when I parked my car and hope it would still be there when we came back. Everything was smooth until we came home. We were scheduled to arrive at 6pm but our flight was delayed by 4.5 hours. We landed past 10p and by the time we got our luggages, it was already 11ish. They closed at 10 but Eddy was great! He gave very clear instructions of where my key would be in the lock box and reassured me that I would be fine. He gave me his cellphone if I needed to call him. I didn't let my Uber driver leave until we secured the key and we did. That saved our day and I am grateful for the awesome customer service! My wife had scheduled and paid for the rental on Priceline and paid for it at that time. When we arrived they wanted a card to put a 200.00 hold on it for incidentals. After the rental they released the 200.00 but charged me an additional 185.00 for the rental. When I called them they stated it was for the additional driver we put on the rental (which my wife had stated when she rented through Priceline) and the rest was the insurance policy that I distinctly remember refusing. They billed hers through carwiz and mine through flex car rentals, which also seems like they were trying to pull a fast one, which they did. Please avoid at all costs. Ive rented several cars in the past and this was hands down the WORST experience. First, we waited for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport for 45 mins. After one did not arrive, I called and they informed they were on the way. We got to the location and was told that we needed to purchase a toll pass which was $12/day. This was only the price for the pass and didnt include the actual charge of passing through the toll each time. The representative kept insisting that we purchase and informed that if we didnt purchase and decided to go through a toll we would be charged $50. Told us it was hard to avoid tolls in Orlando (which is a lie.. we found ways to navigate around tolls). They also had hidden fees (i.e., rental car insurance) and when asked where this was in their policy and terms and conditions they showed some generic language which could be interpreted differently. Terrible service! The rep didnt cooperate and didnt work to address my questions. Instead he told me, "well you can cancel." Which I did! Before cancelling, I declined their car insurance. They asked for full coverage and proof. So I spent about 15-20 mins calling my insurance to get proof in order to verify insurance and show it to them. If that was not enough, after I received the paperwork and was asked to sign, I read through it and saw a $15/day charge listed as a "transfer fee." The man stated the charge was a fee to transfer insurance from my company to them. RIDICULOUS. Never heard of this. When asked about it all he said was "Things are different in Orlando and our company operates differently." So a 3-day rental was supposed to be $72 ended up being $162 with all the hidden fees. I cancelled the whole thing w/o thinking twice. Also, since we had an early flight and the shuttle wasnt available, we would have had to drop off car early in the morn and take Uber. I rented a car here in June through priceline by the time i got there for picked they charged me alot ( hidden charges) by the time i got my receipt i saw the list of charges including $45 charge for using my debit card. Be aware of this rental company! Do not rent a car even they show less price. 1- phone number they provide is over sea with what's app no respond. 2- at airport no way to contact them shuttle showed up every 2 hrs, they far away fro airport3. 3 employees are bunch of useless and rude at counter. My flight was delayed and I had package deal paid for it took me 3 hours after landing to get to rental, couldn't talk call to shuttle and arrived they say it's canceled you pay 250 we open your claim them 350 for 5 days rental and ... bs they provide.
