After having to pay privately for xrays and an exam (they said it wasn't covered by Medicare or Champ VA), I was wrestled (his words) by Dr. Smith. Being 63 years old, he treated my body like I was a teenage boy with his disregard for my discomfort and age. At the end of his manipulation, I complained of a severe headache. They had me sit down and Dr. Smith saw me after a while. Because 20 minutes had passed, I told him that the headache wasn't as severe, however, the headache continued for 5 days and I let the office know of this debilitating problem. Not once did the doctor contact me to follow up on this problem. I feel like they simply wanted to profit from my pain with no concern for my complaint. I won't be returning to this practice.
