From the owner: Weight Management* This is not a diet program. Weight…read moremanagement is just what it says, the management of your lifestyle so that the balance of your daily intake equals your daily needs. Each patient is assessed for psychological and behavioral challenges and their eating pattern is reviewed. With this information, we develop a daily meal plan, which gives patients individual food choices, yet controls portion sizes. Peak Performance* Fitness is a large part of weight management, yet nutrition is a large part of any sport or body building routine. Planning the correct intake of protein for body builders, carbohydrates for performance players, and electrolytes for athletes with long endurance periods, helps to develop a strong support system for active living. Health Concerns * Patients are often referred from physicians for health concerns that can be controlled and decreased with Medical Nutrition Therapy. Many common nutritional concerns include diabetes, insulin resistance, PCOS, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, gastric reflux, gastric bypass, Crohn's disease, eating disorders, pulmonary disorders, cancer, irritable bowel syndrome, anemia, and many more.
