We had been planning our first trip to South Africa for a couple of years and doing lots of research when we came across Fleewinter. We like to put our own itinerary together Fleewinter were very flexible, no hard sell, just straightforward excellent advice based on a thorough knowledge of the country. They recommended luxury apartments, memorable B&B's with great hosts and, to top it all, 4 unforgettable days safari at Kwandwe Private Game reserve in the Eastern Cape. What a holiday! We expected to blow the budget but came home struggling to spend all our budget as meals out and everything pretty much was such good value and for foodies like us fantastic quality and brilliant value for money. Recently returned from a 3 week trip to Sri Lanka organised through Kate Glover at Fleewinter.We gave Kate our travel dates and what type of holiday we were looking for and within a few hours received an email detailing all the places available and information regarding the areas we wanted to visit etc. It took all the legwork out of trawling through websites looking for suitable properties. Kate seemed to know exactly what we were looking for and her knowledge of Sri Lanka was really helpful. The 2 beachside villas and hotel we stayed in way exceeded our expectations. After confirming our booking we received an online itinerary with lots of information about each place we'd chosen to stay in, phone numbers of each property and details of each transfer, brilliant! We were also sent a really helpful guide to Sri Lanka with lots of great tips. I discovered FleeWinter a couple of years ago purely by chance and am so glad I did, what a gem. We booked an apartmnet in Camps Bay but then unfortunately had to postpone the trip. With bigger companies this would have been the end of it but the lovely, ever helpful Vicki contacted the owner and arranged for our deposit to be rolled over to our rescheduled dates, so we didn't lose any money and still had the aparment we had originally wanted. She also somehow rememberd me each time I called, sometimes months apart, which I find amazng in tis day and age. Super friendly, efficient and personal service that you just don't get with bigger, more well known companies. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. And as a bonus, the apartment we had, Adriatic at Funkey, was fabulous! Better than advertised on the website, lovelyy on site owners for whom nothing was too much trouble. They greeted us on arrival and made us feel so welcome. A big success all round. read more

We have just returned from a two and a half week holiday in Camps Bay (Cape Town) organised via Vicki at Fleewinter, which was fantastic. We booked through Vicki last year too and upon arrival things weren't quite what we had expected. No problem though as Vicki sorted everything out from the UK and we were soon settled in alternative (fab) accomodation elsewhere. Nothing was/is too much trouble and we have already booked again for 2014. We would recommend Fleewinter to anyone. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Kate Glover while planning our upcoming trip to Sri Lanka. We had an AWESOME HOLIDAY with Fleewinter. The sales team were very friendly and informative. They helped us sift through the huge number of resorts in the Maldives and put us into the Vilu Reef. We loved it and it was perfect for us! It wasn't the most expensive resort and at no point did we feel pushed to book anything more fancy. We want to go to Caoe Town next year and will be bookign with them again. read more
