Decent place if you enjoy bad customer service and terrible equipment. The staff aren't knowledgeable on what's going on and when we addressed them that we lost 15 minutes because of a malfunction at the bowling alley, they almost couldn't care less and hit us with the regular "I will check with the supervisor". The supervisor was rude and didn't even bother to compensate us for the lost time and claimed the equipment got damaged, that magically got fixed with a reset button. One of the worst experiences ever for such a simple service. read more

Yes: Glo-bowling! Need I say more?! Fleetway is really beautiful inside, almost artistically so. There have to be at least 30 lanes if not more - it's incredibly spacious. You can bring your friends' friends, relatives and their friends and relatives too. It's on the bus route too (somewhat!), the 10 Wonderland that runs across the city, from the Western campus and back, brings you here too. No: Only con is the location. The access path from Wonderland Rd to Fleetway is dark and somewhat isolated. Just watch out, hopefully no one will jump out of the bushes and frighten you away. Go in a group and it might be a little less eerie. read more

This is a pretty great place to go bowling. With more lanes than Palasad it is really easy to get in on a Friday or Saturday. The only reason this place doesn't get five stars is the insane amount of rude teenagers. They don't share balls, goof around and the staff never tell them to stop. The glow golf is super fun, but very easy for someone who has played mini golf before. The addition of the new arcade games is awesome. None of them were broken and the playdium cards hold your tickets instead of carrying around a handful. A snack bar outside the attached DQ (which is slow and always lined up) would also push this place into the five star spot. read more

Honestly only came here for the mini golf on a date and we had a good time but for all the wrong reasons lol. We both really enjoy mini golf so we go a lot and were excited to try a course we hadn't played before. Pretty unorganized when we went in to pay to play but hey it's summer at a bowling alley with teenage employees I didn't expect much there because I remember being young lol. The real issue I ended up having was the course. The lighting is cool but but every hole is basically exactly the same with no real though into it. Straight shot, easily avoid the obstacle and birdie every hole. Also if you are left handed you're going to have a hard time here as basically every hole is set up to be played by a righty, and not in the usual way. You basically can't tee off comfortably on most holes left handed. All in all it wasn't the best expierience and I think once I start moving inside more frequently to play I'll be heading over to the factory for their indoor course as it is much more inventive and creative even if it's shorter and incomplete. read more

So our last two experiences have both had issues. First a lot of the games worth playing were broken and one that had good prizes was not possible to get any prizes. That is all forgivable we just don't that game and understand that they do break. Now onto the real problem. We waited about 10 minutes for the adult family ahead of us to pick out prizes. Once that was over the girl working the counter helped customers who were only then approaching the counter despite me saying excuse me we were here first. We frequently fleetway so I thought I would relay my concerns to management. The manager told me I was over reacting and repeatedly said as you tell it". This was said with attitude and as if he didn't believe me. Fleetway has lost good customers over their poor customer service. read more

Very disappointed in Fleetway today. I was there this morning with an individual who I support. We prefer Palasad based on pricing but they don't open till later and the individual I was with really wanted to go bowling. So price aside it was the only available option we had. Everything started of great. We had just finished our first game of three when the screen showed a network error. I then contacted the lady at the front counter she then told me they were updating their servers and they didn't think it would affect the service but it did. She apologized and offered to give us something free for the inconvenience. The individual I was with decided to play some games in the arcade. She gave us a $10 dollar game card (didn't last very long). After we completed the games we were told the system was still not working. Not being able to return the money due to the service issues I asked if we could have some passes to return at another date. She handed me two passes and I questioned it because we had 2 games remaining which would warrant 4 passes for us to return to receive the service we paid for and could not be granted a refund because of an error on their end trying to update their system during working hours (why would you attempt this during business hours). After my request for two additional passes I was told that she gave me a game card and that was $10 (along with a dirty look). So after offering a free card to make up for the inconvenience she was now subtracting that from the price we paid for bowling. Needless to say the individual I support was upset he did not get to bowl the games that his funding had paid for and could not understand why the lady was giving hIm dirty looks. She gave us the 2 additional passes but the person I support wanted to throw them out and has told me he does not want to return and that he will stick with the Palasad. Needless to say my organization spends a lot of time and money at Fleetway and this interaction has left us very disappointed with Fleetway and the individual who we spoke with. We paid for a service that they could not fulfill due to issues they created and felt their customer service and the way it was handled was terrible. As a business you should be embarrassed and should hold yourself to a higher standard. read more

I've been going to Fleetway since I was a kid ... which is WAY longer than I care to think about here. That being said, I wouldn't recognize it as the same place it was back then. Sure, it still has the bowling but the lanes are all new and have electronic scoring and all the bells and whistles. It seems to me that was about all they had back then .. maybe billiards. They still have both of those of course but in addition they also have rock climbing, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, an arcade and DQ and a pizza place. There is little question that you could spend a rainy day in here with kids no problem - heck, maybe even a rainy weekend. It won't be cheap of course, an hour of bowling with shoes for my son and I ran about $40. Oh, and you can add another $15 for the snack we had at the DQ afterwards. There's little question I'll be back but it certainly would be for a special occasion - not just to kill a bit of time on a Saturday. They have a ton of lanes, activities and such that could likely entertain the entire. As much as I like to enjoy a beer while I'm bowling - I mean, I get it. It just doesn't really vibe with the whole vibe Fleetway has going on. Certainly a great spot for a kids birthday party or for a family night out - provided you have the cash to spare. (Yes, bowling pun intended.) If you've never been it's certainly worth checking out and it's hard to imagine that at least some of you won't absolutely love the place. read more

I'm not too sure what I can add to the other review, Pheng did a good job in covering most of the bases about Fleetway. But it is definitely a good place to go for a date or even just to hang out with friends. Yes the building is huge and there are tonne's of lanes for your 5-pin and 10-pin bowling needs. They also have an 18 hole glo mini-golf course which is pretty cool, and an indoor rock climbing and a high rope course. Also as mentioned a DQ attached to the building for some after fun indulgence. Lots of parking and the staff has been consistently friendly. The only downside to this place is that it is a little pricey, games of bowling are about $5.50 per game and shoe rentals will run you an additional $3.50, and the rock climbing and glo golf are not cheap either, So be prepared to spend some money when coming here. All in all it's still a great fun entertainment place for people of all ages, check it out for yourself. read more

I have 2 young boys and they love bowling and the glow in the dark mini putt... I have a blast with them each time we go there!

I brought 6 people into the establishment on a Monday evening to play miniture golf in the dark. The attendant took my money but failed to advise us of the closing hours. Had I known I would have split up the group to stagger start and speed the game up. We were cut short after just a few holes. The occassion was a birthday for one of the younger children in the group, just cleared of cancer. I was not offered a coupon or an apology, instead I encountered a rude night manager with lack of professionalism. Save your money, find another venue. read more

Just ordered 3 kids pizzas and am extremely disappointed. These are the same size as a medium adult pizza! A side order of fries came over cooked and loaded with salt, also enough fries for 3 people. Bowling was good , we reluctantly tried the mini golf again as we had a bad experience last year and well that was a mistake, yet again we had other kids ruin our experience. We were the only ones playing mini golf until a birthday party of 20 kids running wild came in and took over the entire course jumping off the animal statues, hitting our golf balls around, knocking my kids over, running up and down the golf courses so we ended up having to skip some because they wouldn't move just kept playing around on them. there was a couple parents with the party who just stood and talked while the kids ran wild. I went to find a staff member , nobody around so I went too the front desk, there was a girl with a line up and a guy who was having trouble with a reservation so she left her line up to help him, so I ended up with no help, so I went back, we managed to finish our game, having skipped at least 5 because of the kids playing on them. I complained at the front when we left and the girl was extremely rude, told me that the golf isn't monitored and although they try to have someone back there , nobody had time that day as they were quite busy. Meanwhile there were two employees standing against a back wall chatting and laughing with some what I assume were friends as she was telling us this. I asked to speak to a manager, she said there is one here, but I cant get him right now but here are some free play passes, that's all I can do, and she walked away. I am out $40+ dollars for something we should of enjoyed yet we really didn't even get to play. read more

It is a fun place to hang out and offers many activities. Good for families, however, the experience is short lived. It is costly to do any of the activities, unless you go on certain days to take advantage of the deals, or are younger (13 or under). Clean and large facility, mostly staffed by highschool and post-secondary students. The Dairy Queen that is attached is a plus. Where it lacks is where other facilities thrive. There glow lights are simply, glow lights, nothing flashy, just glow and has a very limited time offered. They do not have a bar or a restaurant, which means it's better for younger crowds, but lacking for the older ones. generally you cannot watch any sports games while in the building, and some of the display screens don't work properly. Some of the staff are over friendly to borderline inappropriate. The rock wall doesn't change, so after climbing it a couple times you'll know the routes (unlike other place that change the handholds). The Ropes Course is fun the first time, and plays on fear of heights, eventually the thrill will wear off, and you'll just be standing around or hanging around above people. The golf is simple, the art is visually nice, but the course itself lacks challenge or anything to it, other than a couple things to put-through (no moving parts or trick shots). during the winter, there is lots of times which you cannot bowl there because of leagues (something you avoid at Palasad) and even if you bowl beside them, they get mad at your group if you don't understand proper league play rules and procedures. The kids camp in the summer is a good first experience, but is generally the same experience and activities every year, so if you want something new for your kids try it once. They are open late, but at night the costs of everything goes up, Billiards for example is $13 per hour (half that during the day, or $2 for unlimited time if you are a senior). Overall, it is a nice place to hang out, but costly, at many times unprofessional, and there are better places out there to go experience bowling. This place however does offer more than just bowling, so it's a one-stop place for entertainment, but that's about all I'd give it, one stop. read more
